is breathing was rugged when he awoke from that deep soul crushing sleep, it was the kind that you didn’t remember. But in the moment, it felt like it was sucking away at his energy rather than replenishing it. The taste of bile was in the back of his throat, and as Raph tore himself from a nesting of blankets he could’ve sworn that blood was gathering in his gut.
Blinking dull brown eyes open, he saw the light beaming in harder than it ever had before. At least, it felt that way. Maybe he just had a migraine, or maybe summer was coming even faster than he hoped.
Hunting patrol!!” Raph’s shout was actually kind of commanding for once, a difference in his usual average behavior. Hopefully it would finally get members to do the important stuff rather than socialize and play foolish games. He supposed that made him hypocritical for he was the one that assigned people to hold them, either way.

    LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS — Chalcedony K. — the Sanctum — she/her — tags
She had been in her own den when she heard the call, and the Turkish van took it as an excuse to get up and do something. Sleep was not a regular thing for Chalcedony, and having a good-night;s sleep was a foreign concept to her. Leaving her tired, she usually stayed in bed awake for an hour or two to try and regain some energy that she would have gotten if she had been able to sleep. But with no company, it was often a time of silence and reflection, sometimes leading to her thinking about things she would rather not think about. Perhaps this patrol could take her mind off things for a bit.

The white feline rose to her paws, trotting towards Raphael with a small, neutral smile. Unsure of what to say (she wasn't good at small talk, or talking for that matter) the female simply sat down and said "Good morning". It was a nice day for hunting, maybe too nice. Days like this, when the sun was shining down on them with no remorse, she enjoyed walk in the mansions gardens, observing and birds that passed over her head, and admiring the botany that lined the flowerbeds. Although, when she did hunt, she usually did so on her own. This was a change, and maybe she'd learn to enjoy others company.

Other times, they were extremely vivid: things from his past that Aodh had long thought he had purposefully forgotten. Flashes of gore, stumbling upon a corpse with no recollection of what had previously occurred, they all overwhelmed him and sometimes, he could swear that he was actually experiencing them in the present. But when one truly startled him, the dingo abruptly woke, eyes wild and claws ripping out holes within his bedding. Undoubtedly, something was haunting his conscience. But now, as he rose within the present, Aodh pushed it away, as he did everything else.

Coming up towards the duo, orange fur groomed and sleek for the day, the acolyte gave a nod of his head in greeting, stiffing a tired yawn that implied that he wasn't much of an early bird. "I'll come along," he finally stated, tongue flicking out and over his stained incisors. "I ... could use the fresh air."

And I couldn't believe what your daddy asked of me

Her hyperactive mind didn't allow for much sleep, not that she really needed it. Insomnia seemed to flow in the family, nevertheless. Being already awake, the munchkin would simply roll to stand up, being too lazy to do anything properly. Humming almost silently under her breath, she'd amble for, to the forming group. "I'll join too!" she'd beam, cheerful, despite how early it was.[fancypost=background:#40E0D0;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

Glancing at the approaching female, he took the greeting with a simple nod. Today was a day to get things done rather than just talk, heck, he was definitely pissy about that. At least he wasn't the only one that slept bad, though he was likely the reason why. It was early morning, good hunting time though.
"Alright, thats enough of us." Raph stated simply, the words hanging on the air like the slight morning mist that was a signature of early spring. He liked it, in that weird way you liked the first frost or thunderstorm. "We can head off to the east, should we go for big game or individual hunt."
Raph was silently hoping it would be big game, but this wasn't the rowdiest crew. That was either because it was morning, or because they just weren't quite that social.
