    Basically, I'm looking for some interesting plots and advanced roleplay partners! My definition of "advanced" is pretty loose- as long as you can match my posts in terms of length (3-10 paragraphs, usually) and write well, I'll probably be satisfied. The quality of the story and characters is way more important to me! I'm semi-active- I try to post at least three times per week- and very inconsistent, but I do my best never to abandon my threads- if I stop replying without any explanation, it's highly likely that I just forgot (and if anyone who I've got an unreplied thread with is reading this, feel free to bump it now because I almost certainly forgot about it). My personal rules are as follows:


    - I'll play male or female characters; I have a slight preference towards male.
    - I'll play m/m, m/f, f/f or platonic relationships; I have no preference here.
    - I have no triggers and I'll give pretty much any subject a chance (yes, even the ones that generally show up on people's "will not" list), but I really don't like roleplaying with depressed or suicidal characters.
    - I'm terrible at roleplaying 100% evil or mean characters! My characters are generally lawful neutral at worst. I'm always willing to give it a try but I can't guarantee good results.
    - my characters are generally between 18 and 35.


    That's pretty much all I've got in terms of guidelines; I'm a very open-minded roleplayer and I love to expand my horizons and write stuff I've never written before! Here's a list of subjects that are piquing my interest right now- but if you've got an idea that isn't on this list, please still suggest it to me!


    - Time periods; 70's, 80's
    - Settings: anywhere I've been (ask)
    - Original celebrities; actors, musicians, artists, etc
    - University roleplays
    - Road trips/ backpacking/ travel in general
    - Adventures
    - High fantasy/Sword and sorcery/medieval fantasy
    - Science fiction (esp. hard sci-fi)


    I've also got a few plots in various degrees of completion which I'd love to do with someone!

    Hi, so I've got this idea for a plot (This is something I'm genuinely writing a book about it) which is essentially a very advanced science fiction setting. Basically two nations are at war so long that even though the war has been raging for nearly two centuries, they don't end it out of tradition, because everyone's grown up hearing about the great war and it's just become part of society. After a couple decades people had started to get tired, so in a burst of inspiration, neural worms were modified into a mind controlling device, and they began to use memory wipers and the worms to turn prisoners, the unwanted scum on the bottom of society's boot, into perfect soldiers. Every now and then a stronger willed prisoner remembers something and is able to remove the neural worm before it truly sinks in, earning them freedom to an extent, because part of the mind control can not be removed, due to it being also implemented in the mind wipe. Unfortunately I can not match your 3 paragraphs each post (generally I can only do high quality on this site if I do 1 long paragraph, 2 is stretching it a bit.) Anyway if you're interested let me know and I could even give you a good, longer than usual example of my writing.

    First off: I remember who you are. And I deeply apologize for my screw-ups in the past. I forgot to be specific and what not. Also, I'm warning you, I may not be very active myself. I tend to zone out. And have miniature breakdowns.
