  • I'm just waitin' for Myv and Lennox to get gone.

The order to retreat was fulfilled, the men were all extracted and Razylym was bounded and gagged, soon to be dead.

Zygax was eating as Aradace watched silent, but all he could think about was Lennox.

  • "And they left me with you?" She sneered, feeling disgusting for giving in and eating his food. On one hand, she was happy Zygax was safe, the other she was upset she was stuck here with a traitor. "If I had enough strength left..." She threatened quietly, taking gulps of water. She had been feeling on edge recently. Some sort of power was taking control.

  • "I offered to take you." he explained, "You may not care about me Lennox, but I care deeply about you. You are - or, were, I guess - a friend; just about the only real friend I had. Even if that friendship didn't last long."

Myvillion sat on the floor, looking into his lap sadly.

"I understood what you were going through in the North; I saw it with my own eyes. If I wasn't so weak, I would have done something earlier. I guess it doesn't matter now; my sympathy means nothing."

  • August looked at Vivienne as though she'd grown another head. "Wait, what did you just say?" he asked, tapping her shoulder once as he said it before looking back at the stall. "Well, ah, Viv, you seem to know this stuff better than I. What about blue one? You think it'll bring out my eyes?" he joked, adjusting his glasses.

  • Lennox was so mentally drained that she was on the verge of tears herself. Her head lulled against the rock, her vision blurring slightly. She crinkled her forehead, her head pounding. Something was taking over her. "I need to get to the castle. Where are we? Where is Zygax?!?" She repeated her question again, crazed. He had told her where they were but she couldn't process. "You lost that friendship when you betrayed us. Sure, betray me- but betray Zygax, intend him harm and you are dead to me."

  • Myvillion was slightly confused.

"We are in a cave, a good ways away from the castle. Zygax is safe under the protection of your king and his personal guard." he explained again, a little slower. Now he was becoming enraged about this.

"You are in no fit to go to the castle. Even in an enraged state you would only get yourself killed. Zygax would want you to stay put until they find us."

Myvillion took a few steps closer, light tears filling his eyes.

"I know I have betrayed you, nothing I can say or do now will help to fix this.. But please.. Let me help you Lennox.. Give me the smallest chance. That is all I ask.. Once you are returned to your army, I will be captured, tortured, and killed along with my brother and any other high-class Northern sympathizers.. I just want to die knowing I wasn't a waste.."

  • Lennox was about to snap- yell, scream. She wanted to feel Zygax's reassuring touch once again. Instead, she snapped her mouth shut and listened to what Myvillion had to say. Her vision blurred again and this time fuzzed out for quite some time. She looked at Myv, her stare blank. How badly did she want to tell him off, how badly did she want him to suffer the way she did... How could this be the little boy that once looked on her in pity? The one who gave her a tool to escape her confines long ago. The man who she finally became close friends with- then, was- betrayed. A weak, spineless creature.

Lennox was about to reply- her mouth open. A wave hit her and she crumpled on the rock beside her. A small curse left her mouth. The corners of her vision blurred in and she felt helpless to it. Fatigue and loss of blood from an earlier wound got the best of her and she lay motionless on the cave floor.

  • Myvillion didnt know what was going on, snappinf our of his fit of despair.

    "Lennox? Lennox??"

He lightly shook the knight-commander, a panic welling over him. The obly thing he could do now was fix her up in her motionless state and bring her back to Zygax and the others. Myvillion was determined to do do the former; wanting to do everything in his power to mend his mistakes. Taking out the medical equipment, he went to work.

"Lennox I know you despise me now, but trust me when I say this is for your own good. Once I finish, I will bring you back to your army, I promise."

Mordue stood just outside. She watched the two inside, feeling the pain eminating from the cave. The large wolf decided that in order to help them, she would find Zygax herself, running off bck to the castle to find him. How she would comunicate with the man, she didn't know, but knew it was important to the woman Myvillion stayed with in the cave, because she was important to him.

//yo so I had an idea with Isamae (because clearlt we are deviating from part of the story plotted thats cool) that she may have surrendured to the arlneth army (along with others surrendered is probably not the word maybe joined) so like that specific plot could continue?? Squish?

  • //Been suuuper busy lately! Sorry!

Hollond stood off to the side, his gaze never straying from the two humans as they went about shopping. He gave a nod to the arl running the kiosk after Vivienne had decided to take refuge behind his tall form.
