  • Every thought told him to protect. Protect his master, protect his family. He wanted to protect. He wanted to make sure that those he cared about were safe and sound. The thing was, he didn't have anyone to protect.

So he found people to protect. This would bring the german shepherd's paws to the elite, a massive mansion. The place seemed pretty well protected, but such a big place probably had little nooks and crannies to sneak into, that was his understanding at least.

So the male would stand there, waiting.

  • This looked promising, the lion thought as he padded over. "Why hello there. I'm assuming, since you've stopped at the border and you're waiting patiently, probably for someone to show up, that you're interested in joining. Well, I must say that we would be quite happy to have a fellow like you around, there's few of us around, but we do all know each other quite well. The name's Lucifer, and I run this joint. You happen to be?" he asked as he padded over. Of course, he could've read the shepherd's body language all wrong, but he doubted it.

  • That, that was impressive. How had the lion gotten all that information before he had even talked? He'd have to learn it. The male gave the other a nod in greeting. "I'm Ceasefire, and you're right I do wish to join. It's nice to meet you Lucifer." the German shepherd spoke. "Do you mind if I ask how you gathered all that information?"

  • Lucifer nodded as Ceasefire gave his name. An interesting one, to be sure. "Welcome to the Elite." At the canine's question, the lion snorted. "Please, it doesn't take an idiot to figure it out. If you were here with malicious intent, you wouldn't have stopped on the border. So that leaves two options; joining, or here on behalf of an ally. We don't really have any of the second, though, so joining it is." Anyone who asked for the regular 'name-and-business' cliche was either not thinking, or was too stupid to figure out the second bit by themselves.
