Well, the tom had promised a training session, so there he was. Standing in the center of the sandy hollow was the clan's deputy, slouching as he sat, yet still holding whatever shreds of pride he had left. He had called all the apprentices to the hollow, as well as whatever warriors were willing to come and help out. He had some stuff to teach them, too, if they were willing to learn. Having been a part of several clans prior to ThunderClan, he had picked up more than his fair share of specialized fighting moves.

That was precisely why he was there that afternoon. If his clanmates knew how their enemies fought, they would find countering and blocking incoming attacks easier. They'd be able to come up with better attack plans, as well, with the added knowledge of where their opponents liked to hide or where they tended to aim when attacking. All of this would help them immensely in battle if they were to listen and apply their knowledge.

The Maine Coon mix looked up into the sky, squinting at the light that the sun emitted in favour of not going blind. It was about time for everyone to gather. In a few minutes, everyone would be trickling into the clearing to join the tom. The younger apprentices were especially eager to learn, or so he had learned from talking to them. They always were, though, something he had noticed throughout his life. Everyone, everywhere, was bloodthirsty. Even if it was hidden under the guise of protecting their clanmates.

Well, it wasn't really the time for those sorts of thoughts. He had apprentices to train.

  • Ah, right, there was training today! Hyenapaw remembered Audenine mentioning it before, though he was a bit hesitant to actually join in. You're a warrior apprentice. Hyenapaw reminded himself as he made his way through the forest, carefully heading towards the sandy hollow. You have to fight eventually. Besides, even medicine cats got some defense training, didn't they? Hyenapaw dipped his head a bit as he arrived at the hollow, greeting Audenine with that simple movement instead of words.

  • Not far behind was crystalpaw, her paw was now fully healed but in some occasions she would lift her paw just in case, she dipped her head to audenine and giving a smile to hyenapaw, as she sat down waiting for instructions.
