Midnightstar's ear flickered. Birds chirped and sunlight filled into the den. He groaned, covering his eyes with his paws. He looked over to see that Squirrelcloud was still asleep. 'Perhaps a little longer.' he thought. He turned away from the sunlight and fell back asleep.

Smokefang was sitting in the center of camp already, his tail curled over his paws. He had awoken even before the sun had risen, as he does everyday. His dark, smoke like fur ruffled in a gentle morning breeze. Quickly, he gave his chest a few licks to tame some of his fur. He was waiting for some of the other cats to awaken, so he may send out the morning patrols. The deputy had worked hard for his position, and he'd be damned to slack off now.
Maplepaw had just begun to open her eyes, squinting against a ray of sunlight that poked through just where her face was laying. Grumbling, she rose to her feet and glanced around the den. She spotted the kittypet and rolled her eyes, a little shocked that the dainty she-cat was still around. The apprentice had assumed the cat would've gotten sick of wild living within the last few days. Deciding to get the day started, the black and orange tortoiseshell began to pad out of the den.
Dovepaw slept silently, still not used to rising early and living on a schedule.

(Since I never really made Dapplepaw and Ravenflight's personality I'll just make it up as I go.)
Dapplepaw wakes at the sound of her sister leaving the den. She debates weather or not to get up. She looks to her side. "Dovepaw." She says, nudging the new apprentice. "If you want to be a warrior, you'll have to wake up early." She advises. Her sisters didn't seem to like Dovepaw very much. She could understand why. But she would rather be on good terms with everyone. She doesn't like enemies.

Eastcreek and Westriver were already awake, they had woken up earlier than normal, because Eastcreek had a great idea, you see, the brothers loved pranks, but they had nearly exhausted all of their targets, and Midnightstar, to the brothers dismay, had made it perfectly clear that they weren't allowed to pull any of their shenanigans on apprentices or kits. However, there was one last cat they had yet to prank. It was none other than Jadewhisker. Now, all the cats in the clan knew Jadewhisker just LOOKED mean, but they also knew she could be mean if she needed to. Eastcreek and Westriver would have to be crazy to try to prank Jadewhisker, but of course, they were.
"Hey! Jadewhisker! Get up Midnightstar wants us to go on patrol." Meowed Eastcreek. There was a bit of grumbling from inside the warrios den as Jadewhisker slowly made her way outside. As soon as her body was out of the warriors den Westriver jumped into action. He had been hiding at the top of a redwood tree, and during the night a substantial amount of water had gathered in the leaves. Westriver began shaking the branches and water fell down onto Jadewhiskers unsuspecting head. The brothers burst out into laughter but Mosspaw, who was watching, could swear that there was actual smoke coming from her head because of how mad she was. "You fox brained fur balls! Just wait till I get my claws on you!" She hissed and started chasing Eastcreek since he was closest.Juniperpaw watched from the medicine cat den. Those mouse brained fools, Jadewhisker might catch some sort of cough from being drenched in that water, he huffed and turned back into his den, but not before meowing a small hello to his brother, Birdpaw, who was of course, watching the birds.

Despite being a stoic and professional cat, Smokefang couldn't help the slightest mrrow of amusement. But, with three cats in front of him, he couldn't help but form a patrol. "Since you woke the poor cat up for a patrol, you may as well go on a patrol." After a short pause and a glance to the apprentice's den, his amusement turned a little sour, though the amusement wouldn't have lasted long regardless. "And take the kittypet with you."
Female | Apprentice | 10 moons
The tortoiseshell had watched the prank sourly. She had been pranked similarly, and hadn't appreciated it. Seeing as her name nor her apprentice was called for the patrol, she took it upon herself to grab a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. Maplepaw settled along the camp's edge before tucking into her meal.
Female | Apprentice | 18 moonsAt the first prod from Dapplepaw, Dovepaw's eyes opened wide, but that was simply their usual size. She rose quickly, lowering her head almost out of respect. "I'm sorry. Thank you for waking me." She was sincere, and grateful, as she tried to be to all the clan cats. "I should get going!" With another nod of thanks, Dovepaw wormed her way out of the den in time for Smokefang's patrol announcement. Yep. They still hate me.
-
Brackenfur was sound asleep to the commotion outside, tucked into his corner of the den with his tail curled over his nose. He always slept like this, a habit he assumed he'd had since birth. He had no true desire to get up and get going for the day, but having been in and out of dream-heavy sleep, he felt more awake to the world than he would have liked.
Shadestorm was watching the twins' shenanigans from afar, whiskers twitching in amusement. After the patrol was called, she silently wished the two boys good luck with Jadewhisker before rolling over onto her side, trying to bask in the first rays of sunshine poking through the trees.
Owltalon emerged sleepily from the den, fur a mess and eyes drooping slightly. He had just woken up to Jadewhisker's yelling, and decided to join the rest of the Clan for morning patrols idle chat. "Is there anything you need me to do this morning, Smokefang?" he asked, his voice tinged with a deep yawn.

Jadewhisker came to a stop and halted her pursuit on the prankster cats only when the clan deputy spoke of patrol, those fox breath mouse brains probably ruined her chances of sleeping in this morning but she nodded her head.
"And take the kitty pet with you."
Jadewhisker felt a surge of rage rush through her blood at the insult of her apprentice.
Yes I'll happily take MY APPRENTICE with me she thought, but she knew much better than to say it out loud.
"Yes Smokefang." She said dipping her head before turning to the apprentice den, seeing Dovepaw emerge. "Dovepaw!" She snapped flicking her tail. "With me, lets go."
Westriver descended from red wood and walked up alongside his brother, they both exchanged sympathetic glances at the mistreatment of Dovepaw, but they were in no position to speak out. Instead they followed behind Jadewhisker, side by side.Mosspaw scoffed why did the kitty pet get to go on patrol but she didn't. She sighed and walked over to the fresh kill pile absently chewing on a vole before grabbing a mouse and bringing it to her brother Juniperpaw. Juniperpaw was busy arranging the herbs and taking note of what they had. "Hey, mousebrain, I brought you a mouse." She smiled and set it down. Juniperpaw walked over and nodded his thanks. "You really should be nicer you know." Juniperpaw said chewing thoughtfully. Mosspaw wrinkled her nose. "Excuse me?" She said. "I said you should be nicer, because you never know, one day we may be in a battle with Loyalists or Glacierclan, and you know who might have to save you? Dovepaw, kitty pet or not, blood doesn't matter during war, only how much of it is spilled." Juniperpaw glared as he kept eating his mouse, Mosspaw said nothing, and instead stalked out of the medicine den.

Smokefang glanced around once more. A hunting patrol should also be set out, after all, cats need to eat. He made note of the fact that his apprentice was awake, and since he had already set out a patrol he could lead the hunting patrol. Perhaps he should. "Shadestorm, Mosspaw. Are you up for a hunting patrol?" It was hardly a question, since saying no was unlikely to go over well. He hoped his apprentice would at least be excited about getting to work.
Female | Apprentice | 10 moonsHearing Jadewhisker's sharp tone, Dovepaw's tail and head both lowered and she trotted over. She didn't enjoy patrols, but she hardly was in a place to complain after the clan accepting her in, even if she wasn't truly accepted. Being of a petite form, she preferred hunting by a long shot. "Where are we going?" She asked, curious as to which part of the territory they'd check.
-
Shadestorm lifted her head from her sunbathing, seeing Smokefang beckon her over for a hunting patrol. Sighing softly, she stood up and shook the dust from her dark pelt, trotting over to meet him. "I'm always up for a little hunting, of course," she purred, stretching out her limbs before settling down beside him, awaiting his apprentice to join them.
Owltalon sighed and shook out his pelt, sitting down to clean himself up a bit. He was both saddened and glad that he wasn't on a patrol just yet, itching to do something but also content to lounge around the camp and rest. Right now, a good few hours before sunhigh sounded like a good plan.
Brackenfur is still asleep.
-
The noise outside woke Midnightstar. "I'm so lazy." he huffed. He left the den and bounced from the high rock to the ground. It was a bit of a distance, but he was used to it. He spotted Jadewhisker with her apprentice. Dovepaw seemed slightly afraid of her, however he paired them together for a reason. "Jadewhisker, are you going hunting?" He asked. He rarely left camp. Maybe now was the time he went hunting again. 'I'm not going to be lazy today' He thought.
-
Dapplepaw spotted her sister, Maplepaw. She bounded over to her. "Morning, sister." She says smiling. "Do you want to join a patrol or go hunting? Neither of our mentors are awake yet. I don't think Midnightstar or Smokefang would mind."

"We're going on dusk patrol, actually. None the less, you're still welcome to join if you would like." Jadewhisker said, patiently waiting for their leaders answer. Jadewhisker vaguely thought about the fact that their leader hadn't gone out in a while. It made her a little happy to see their leader up and about.Mosspaw looked up at her mentor and purred happily. "Yea, hunting sounds great." She smiled.

Glad that both cats seemed willing to hunt, Smokefang let out a purr of satisfaction. "Let's get going then." There was no point in wasting time, so he figured they may as well leave now. He began a stride toward the camp entrance, glancing behind him to make sure the two she-cats followed. He made a mental note that Midnightstar had only just woken up. What a disgrace. What example does that set for the Clan?
Female | Apprentice | 10 moons
Lifting her head to look at her sister, Maplepaw rose to her paws with a nod. "It would be nice to make use of my time." She would have preferred to train today, but she supposed hunting wasn't bad either. "The patrol seems full, so I'm sure we can head out to hunt on our own."

Shadestorm dutifully followed Smokefang, walking in-step with Mosspaw. She was happy about being sent out on patrol, having felt the need to go out and do some good for the Clan for a while now. The cool air of the forest felt nice to her, tickling her whiskers and dotting her black fur with specs of water.
Brackenfur lifted his head with a start, sleepily glancing towards the entrance of his den with a slight frown. He felt underrested, but sleeping in more would be more damaging than helping. With a grunt of effort he pushed himself to his paws and joined the rest of the Clan, the orange tom squinting at the sunlight beginning to fill the camp.
-
Midnightstar smiled."Yes, I would very much like to join you two. Where are we headed?" He questioned. His favorite hunting spot was the river. It was the only place in the territory that you could hunt fish. It was also the gathering place for other prey to drink.
Dapplepaw nodded. "Ok, lead the way sister." She said politely.

Foxflight
-- The large, muscular warrior sat outside the warrior's den, his ice blue eyes fixed on the two kits that were currently scampering across camp, their bodies pressed close together as the larger of the two kits, Robinkit, tried to lead his sister, Rainkit, towards their father, but the black and white kitten only broke away from her brother, refusing his help. The little kitten reminded Foxflight of her mother, Nightwillow, who had been just as stubborn as the small kitten was being.
Vixenfrost
-- The soft-pelted dark ginger tabby sat close to her brother, her own blue eyes glaring daggers at the dirt under her paws. The warrior flicked one of her ears when she heard a soft sigh from her brother, but Vixenfrost made no comment on it, only nudged her brother slightly with her shoulder.
Runningsong
-- The queen lay outside the nursery, her large stomach situated slightly towards the side to allow her to be comfortable. The slender she-cat soft green eyes turned towards her half-sister who sat next to her, tending to Runningsong's every needs. It was kind of Squirrelcloud to want to watch over the queen during her pregnancy, especially since she had many complications during her first one, but the soft pelted queen didn't care too much for the close eye Squirrelcloud kept on her at all times, however, Runningsong knew that the younger feline only meant the best for the queen.
Squirrelcloud
-- The ginger-and-white feline sat beside her half-sister, tail flicking from side to side. The unusually small she-cat wasn't insistent to help out Runningsong with anything, to make sure her pregnancy was easier on her since she had troubles with her first one. The younger she-cat scanned the camp with her pale green eyes, shifting from side to side.

Kestrelpaw
-- The calico apprentice lifted her head, listening in on her sisters' conversation. "Dapplepaw, Maplepaw," the hyper apprentice said their names as she got to her paws in a haste, rushing towards her sisters. "May I come hunting with the two of you?"
