  • Morag stared out the window, as the mist of the sea brushed against her face. She took a deep breath and took it all in. She loved being a sea dog, although sometimes being in a faction could be kind of tricky. She tapped her tail, a bit impatiently. She was waiting for one of the leaders to give her the next assignment.

MistStar was curled up on a bag of grain. Despite being a leader, she absolutely loved to sleep. The problem was, she had to wake up soon to start her first order of business. She had a faction to rule, after all. She sighed and stretched, getting up. She took a deep breathe. Time to go to work.

  • Lyra sat at a perch made from boxes and barrels, staring down at the amass of creatures below. She jumped down and started heading for the stairs, she figured a quick solo patrol would do her good, and ensure that the felines were keeping their paws where they belonged.

  • Molly was laying there being bored. She really had nothing to do. She was half way asleep. At least she got fed and didn't have to starve for two days like she did when she was on the streets.

  • Morag watched as Lyra walked past her. She got up and started walking with her alpha. "Good morning, Lyra? Do I have any assignments for today?" She asked, tail wagging.

MistStar's ears twitched. She could tell that Lyra was coming towards her and the other cats. She sighed. That mutt never trusted any of them.

"Check on the livestock, claw open a grainbag if needed and make sure they have water. Then patrol the upper deck just keep out of the way of the upwalkers." Lyra ordered. She raised her hackles as she drew near Miststar. "Still lazing about I see you worthless furball." She growled.

  • Morag nodded. "Got it! Although, are we supposed to rip the bags open? I thought those were for the humans. You know, shipments and all." She asked, a bit of nervousness twinged her voice.

MistStar jumped off her perch. "Well first of all that is very rude. I was just about to start my day, when you so rudely became a distraction. That's like if you just woke and were going to start your day, when I came up to you calling you a lazy, worthless mutt," she spat. She shook her head. "Oh, when will you dogs ever learn when to keep your muzzles shut?" She said, starting to walk away to the other cats. She had a busy day, and didn't have time for any of Lyra's prejudice.

"We only open them if they are out of food Morag." Lyra reminded the eager dog. "If there's an upwalker nearby and the food stores are empty attract their attention then if your so worried." She then turned to Miststar. "I can call you worthless because all I ever see you do is sleep. My faction is at least doing something, what are you doing? Letting your cats catch you breakfast?" Lyra taunted.

  • "All I ever do is sleep? Oh, how hilarious. You must be joking. I always have plans and busy schedules, you must be distracted by your own tail, or finding out who's a good girl to notice," MistStar swished her tail. "Well, later today we have a meeting in the Captain's Quarters, so I'm hoping you'll be on your best behavior and leave this state all behind. Besides, we're sophisticated faction leaders, we shouldn't be fighting like little children. At least, I, don't fight around like a child. Well, cheerio, Lyra. I do hope you have a good day." She said, with that, she flicked her tail in Lyra's face, and ran to attend to her members, before Lyra even had a chance to respond.

Morag nodded, and started heading towards the deck. She didn't want to say it in front of the leader, but she just thought that stealing the grain would be hypocritical. After all, they usually complain how the cats get distracted by the livestock.

  • Lyra snorted and rolled her eyes. However something Miststar said caught her attention. A meeting? She wondered. It had been a while since they had one of those. She quickly shook her head clearing her thoughts as she continued towards the upper level that she had planned to patrol.

//Sidenote anyone want to join a clan I just made?//

  • Molly snapped out of her sleep mode. "I'm not going to sleep." She said to herself. She then seen Lyra. She walked over to her. "Anything to do today Lyra?" She asked hoping she wasn't bothering the leader.

  • Lyra surpressed a sigh as her paws were just on the steps to the next level of the ship. "Yes, why don't you patrol the front half of the ship and I can patrol the back half on this level so its all checked in one patrol?" Lyra suggested.

  • "Ok." She said as she started walking up the steps. As soon as she got to the next level she went strait to the front of the ship. She didn't saying another word. She knew how the cats liked to sneak around. She had a good sence if smell so she would know when a cat was around or another dog.

  • As Norag reached the deck of the ship, she started searching for any deckwalking humans, who had any food she could retrieve. It was still early in the morning, so there was less humans around.

MistStar started patrolling the inner areas of the ship, searching for any mice, so they won't cause the ship diseases.

  • Lyra padded down the hall, if there was an open door she peered into it, to make sure things were well inside, if the door was closed she pressed her ear against it, checking for unusual sounds from within the room.
