Everything seemed silent around Grizzlybear as he started to watch his world starting to crumple apart in front of him though he tried being strong despite his little worries and pet peeves, he took a steady breath feeling quite happy for Rookpaw and Rainwatcher since they were now medicine cat apprentices! Which was something to be proud of seeing as they had came so far yet Grizzlybear wasn't certain if he would amount to anything but the thought didn't bother him as he shoved it away. He lumbered out of camp going to the river and staring at his reflection thinking of how long he was here and was a bit happy for himself. Despite how Tinypaw and Swancloud weren't around too much as they had used to be. The thought saddened him yet he lifted up a paw concentrating and waiting for a fish before his paw went down swiftly with claws hooking into silvery scales and pulling out a large fish. Huh.

At that very moment did Adderkit decide that he wanted to grow as big as Grizzlybear and catch the biggest fish ever--maybe a shark. the heavily scarred kit then bounded over by Grizzlybear's side to observe the fish. Soon, Adderkit would be an apprentice under a mentor's care, hopefully he'll learn to be as experienced as Grizzlybear proved to be. Yet, who would be able to mentor Adderkit without getting annoyed by his silence?

The female was next to approach as a long tail flicked back and forth thoughtfully. The warmth against her shoulders soothing as rays comforted her wounds in which were gnarled savagely against her frame in such provoking pain. Cracked and sore, red with beating, yet clean of blood as she slipped to the scene. She'd taken a walk that more or so passed as a lone border patrol to take time to collect her thoughts, her worries, and her stresses. She needed to travel to the moonstone before her pregnancy continued further on, her belly wasn't as swollen as most queen's yet, it would be awhile- in which she couldn't quite imagine. A pregnant Cougartail. It was unthinkable. "Grizzlybear, Adderkit," came her gentle words of greeting, offering nothing more than a flick of her ear as she took a seat.

Noting the kit's present out side of camp, yet she said nothing. Perhaps she didn't quite care- it was awfully boring for a kit to stay in camp, after all. A gaze of molten embers coming to slide to the creases of her almond slanted spectacles in admiration as to his action. She wasn't the only one admiring such a catch as she was quick to catch the expression held upon Adderkit's features as well. "Nice catch," she praised with a flick of her tail before her gaze returned upon the river in thought momentarily, only to return. "Anything on your mind lately? You looked lost in thought, not that I want to pry," she questioned in interest, her last phrase coming through as a chuckle before she fell silent once more. A paw dipped in the water to only shoot back, aiming to splash Adderkit.
