  • romania stood in the courtyard, the woman standing tall with a sense of excitement. "knights!" she called, her tone beckoning. "gather for a sparring session! pair up with someone, anyone. everyone should be included, okay? spectating is fine, as well." her gaze roamed over the faces she saw in the courtyard.

"now, i do have some rules before we begin: this is a free-for-all, okay? you can dodge or evade however you want. another rule: no major wounds, scratches, cuts or scars are to be inflicted upon your opponent - that is unacceptable. also, we don't want pixel to deal with any accidents." she paused, allowing her words to settle. "if both partners agree, powers may be used. it would be great to fight without them, though. knights should develop and hone their skills and be as good with their paws as their powers."

she gave reassuring smile after her serious words. "that will be all. so get started, chickadees."

Bastille wasn't so sure he should be fighting any one, even if just for a spar. Ordinarily he wouldn't pass up a chance, but with recent events - his meltdown, Dahlia's wrath - he felt like he should be playing shit cool. At the very least, trying to avoid anything that might accidentally set his powers off. He considered sitting this one out, watching from the sidelines, but first he'd see who all showed up first.

"Hey, Romania," he greeted, pausing. "You and Hazel would probably be a good match." He didn't really want to talk about Hazel, knowing how angry she was. He was more or less avoiding her, but it was true - he would be interested to see those two go head to head.

  • The toms shoulder was still wrapped up but the wound was healing fine, tho he did have a spear shoved through his entire shoulder, he was lucky he survived. "Sparring?" The male said padding up, "Not sure how good I'd be with a bummed shoulder but I'm willing to try."

  • the wolf's ear flicked at bastille's suggestion, "good idea." but her mind was on other things. the first thing she was thinking was that it was a smart decision for him not to fight. bast was a bit...unpridictable, at the moment. the second was her guilt over this fact. "hey, bast, i'm sorry you can't fight." she gave the other a sad blink of her eyes. but as quick as it came the look left, as she presumed he wouldn't like to deal with any display of pity.

she turned to address eldrich, and winced at the sight of his binded shoulder. "i would fight with you, but i'm not sure if that's safe. i could accidently hurt you, and i'm not bragging when i say that." her head tilted which showed her concern for the savannah. "but if you're up for it, we can still fight."

  • "Hm, you're probably right, I'll probably sit this out, but if you want I could offer pointers or be a referee." The savannah said with a shrug, he still wanted to participate but he knew as well as any that risking the healing process of his shoulder wouldn't be wise.

  • the wolf smiled at eldrich's suggestion. "now that is a wonderful idea!" she exclaimed. "you can also help with squires and pages - those younger than us knights."

  • The savannah gave a small wag of his tail, "That sounds great, I'd love to help out with the youngsters." He always wanted to help teach but everything was too crowded in his precious home, it was hard.
