After almost the whole bottle was gone Arkonis finally had a nice buzz going. He knew it was strong stuff if it was just one bottle to get him a buzz. His gaze landed on Loki more then once however it quickly moved on before anyone noticed. He didn't want to come off as one of those creepy people that hung out in bars. Once the bottle was completely empty he set it aside with a small sigh. Yeah, he needed another one for sure. After a moment of convincing himself to move the demon got up and slipped through the crowd to get to the bar. "Give me the strongest you've got." He said once he got to the bar, reaching into his pocket to get the money.

Loki walked back in with James, holding his hand tightly as she lead him to the bar sitting in his lap a little too comfortably. She didn't even notice the bartender give the demon some alcohol as she fed James strawberries while cooing. "So cute." She purred, wrapping her unoccupied arm around the man's neck. Loki tilted her head when James whispered something in her ear making her bite her lip and slowly nod. Loki giggled when James practically thew her over his shoulder and walked upstairs.
-
Arkonis couldn't help but watch Loki and James off and on until they went upstairs. Yeah, he was getting a hangover in the morning. That was his goal. He sat down at the bar and quickly chugged the bottle, setting it back down when he was done. "How much more of this do you have? Actually don't answer that just keep refilling this." He asked the bartender, still only having a buzz. He didn't want to remember today by tomorrow morning. About ten bottles and an hour later the demon was laying on the counter, absolutely hammered and muttering something about creepy maids and secret passages.
-
Loki came down stairs after a while, her outfit only slightly out of place, hair messy and a large grin on her face when she noticed Arkonis. Giggling she trotted up to him and gave him a small pat on his back. "Awe is little Arkonis drunk?" She cooed softly, gently intertwining her fingers in the dark hair. Loki pulled away and ordered three shots for herself, drowning them all down before leaning against Arkonis. "Bloody hell that was good." She giggled, running a hand through her already messy hair. Loki leaned towards the demon whining softly as she tugged on his shirt as a sign for his affection.
-
"S-See here Loki, I...I...wait what am I again? Uh...drunk! I am totally not drunk at all, y-you're the drunk one here." Arkonis replied, stumbling over his words as he looked at Loki. His mask was half falling off, his eyes seemed to have a slight glow about them. "I came here because I-It's my job to...to...uh...to look after you right? That's my job isn't it? I-I'm pretty sure it is, and here you are getting drunk and accusing me of the same! How dare you young l-lady!" He said, gesturing to her with his empty bottle. He was out of his mind, he hadn't been drunk in atleast a few decades.
-
Loki burst out into a fit of laughter when she quietly listened to the demon, quickly fixing his mask for him. "No, your job is to have fun." She snorted as she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the dance floor, grinding softly on him just to see his drunken reaction to her. Loki pulled him close, kissing him somewhat softly. She nibbled on his lower lip before pulling away. The girl smiled to herself as she walked away back to the bar. Hopefully by now Arkonis would actually start having fun. Loki couldn't stop the pain in her heart at the thought of Arkonis kissing someone else. She smiled at the bartender who handed her a drink sympathetically. "That obvious?" She chuckled as she swirled the liquid in her glass.
-
Even with all the alcohol running through his system Arkonis still flushed red at the grinding and the kiss, however he couldn't help but reciprocate the actions. After Loki left him he still danced for a little bit, mostly by himself. After a few more minutes of dancing the demon was once again sitting at the bar next to her, trying to form a sentence. "H-Hey Loki? I need you to make me a-an honest promise. Wh-Whenever I get drunk and I tell my mother she always asks if she'll be grandmother soon. S-So please don't tell my mom I was here, even though I'm not drunk." He almost begged, giving her a pleading look from under his mask. He always hated seeing his mother's disappointed face when he told her that no, he wasn't going to be a father anytime soon.
-
Loki who was still slowly sipping her drink glanced over at Arkonis, the edges of her lips curved up inside a somewhat smile. She took the drink away from her lips and side glanced at Arkonis. "Why be a lair? You could always try impregnating me." She teased, really only expecting a blush or a scowl from the drunken demon. Sighing the girl stood up and finished her drink, passing the bartender a few notes before grabbing the demons hand and pulling him towards the exit. "Come on. We'll find a hotel. We can't both come in the castle drunk now can we?" She teased softly, looking at Arkonis with a slightly tilted head.
-
Arkonis hummed for a moment, as if actually considering the proposal. "Nah, I would be a terrible father. Besides, you're much too young to have kids." He replied, probably the most serious he had been in a few hours. Things just spilled out of the demon when he was drunk. "Yeah th-that might not be a good idea. I don't think the g-guards would like us stumbling around all night." He nodded in reply, following Loki. He didn't even think about questioning any logic, he just wanted to sleep. His mind was getting a bit clearer but he was still very drunk. Atleast he could see straight now.
-
Loki sighed as she wrapped one of Arkonis's arms around her neck and shoulders so she could keep him close. "Your right. I should ask James to become my child's father." Loki 'agreed' as she helped the demon enter the wooden building. She muttered something to the owner, handing him a few notes before turning back to Arkonis. "Right. Second floor, first room. Shall we?" She asked as she stumbled up stairs, almost falling on more then one occasion. Loki huffed as she bent downwards, her eyes narrowing as she tried putting the key in the lock. Huffing with annoyance when she failed multiple times. Finally Loki opened the door and ran a hand through her hair, stripping all her clothing except the cat outfit which she still couldn't manage to get out of. "Which side?" She asked, gesturing to the bed.
-
"Yeah, that s-sounds like a much better idea." Arkonis nodded, thankfully managing to hold himself up. He definitely did not want to be a parent. He wasn't so sure he could climb stairs in his condition but drunk confidence solves everything nowadays. "I'm right behind you L-Loki." He smiled slightly as he followed her up the steps. He didn't struggle too much with them, apparently he was better at walking than he thought. He barely noticed Loki stripping as he walked in and laid down on the right side of the bed. "If-If I die soon Loki, then I have to tell you something. You are my best friend, I freakin love you." He said, turning to look up at her.
-
Loki sighed as she sat on the bed with Arkonis, gently taking off his mask and placing it on the bedside table. "I love you too. Now a goodnight kiss." She hummed as she kissed the forehead, taking off of the demon's clothing until he was in his underwear. Loki neatly folded them and placed the clothing on the side of the bed. "There. Comfortable?" She asked as she pulled the covers over him. Loki wiggled in the bed beside him. Clinging onto Arkonis almost immediately. "Good night."
-
Arkonis helped get out of his clothes, a yawn escaping him as he did so. "Yeah, I'm very comfortable thanks." He said with a small nod, a drunk smile on his face. Usually he wouldn't be comfortable at all but all that alcohol helped him to relax a bit more. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her as well, enjoying the warmth she provided. "Goodnight Loki." He muttered as he drifted off to sleep.
(Morning timeskip?)
-
(Yep.)
Loki hummed in pain as she sat up, or tried to anyways. She huffed when she felt another person beside her muttering something about having a hookup. Finally she pushed herself away from whoever as lying next to her, groaning as she sat up. Loki looked to the person next to her groaning once more in frustration. Hesitantly she lifted up the covers. Mentally thanking the gods when she noticed Arkonis was still in his underwear. The girl shakily stood up, zipping herself out of the cat outfit she was wearing before getting a cigar left in one of her pants pockets. She opened a window, looking out to the town as she lit the cigar. The town was empty, not a person or animal in sight.
-
Arkonis shifted in bed before slowly sitting up, rubbing his face with a small groan. "Ugh, thousands of spells and none the can fix a hangover. Why is magic so stupid? Wait...where the heck am I?!?!" He finally snapped awake when he realized he wasn't in the castle. He looked around, barely noticing his lack of clothing until he finally saw Loki. "Where are we? And why am I...we didn't...no there's no way right?!" He asked, instantly assuming one possibility. While it certainly didn't sound too bad, the thought of doing that with Loki and not knowing it was mortifying at best.
-
Loki exhaled the smoke, raising her eyebrow when she turned around to face the demon. "No. I stopped trying to flirt when you asked me not to tell your mother you went to a club." She shrugged tying up her hair, two new marks on her neck and collarbone could be seen but it was obvious she didn't care about hiding them. Loki let the cigar hang from her mouth as she picked up her white shirt carelessly throwing it on. She sat on the creaky bed, reaching out and stroking the demons head. Loki took the cigar out her mouth, blowing the smoke in the demon's face. "If I die soon Loki, then I have to tell you something. You are my best friend. I freaking love you." The girl repeated what Arkonis said to her last night. "What do you mean 'if I die soon'? Is there something I should know about or was that just drunk talk?"
-
Arkonis grew a little red at that although he visibly relaxed. He couldn't believe he had told Loki that but atleast it saved his virginity for now. He noticed the marks but didn't say anything, he didn't need to know. He waved the smoke out of his face with a small frown. Whenever Loki mentioned what he had said the demon instantly paled. He...he hadn't said that right? No...he did...well crap. "It was just drunk talk of course! Heh, now where are my clothes? I have to get back to work." He said, a nervous chuckle escaping him as he scrambled out of the bed. He quickly pulled on his clothes although one thing was strange, he was still as pale as if he had seen a ghost.
-
"Stop!" Loki barked, standing up and storming over to Arkonis. She pinned him to the wall, glaring up at him with a loud growl. She firmly slapped him, which may have been an over reaction but she was sick of being left in the dark. "I have a hangover, there are bruises in places I don't want to talk about that definitely wasn't there yesterday, I had to share a bed with a half lust demon and I've somehow gotten back into smoking. We both know that I'm eventually going to find out what you're hiding so stop treating me like a fucking child and tell me what's happening. Actually, you know what? Keep your secrets I don't feel like listening to your excuses now." Loki hissed, finally pulling away to pull on her pants, shoes and scarf. "Don't come near me in the castle unless your ready to tell me." She hissed as she walked out the hotel.
-
Arkonis had honestly been surprised by the harsh tone and the slap. Loki's speech was mostly just a recollection of past events but he hung onto every word she said. After she left he stood there for a moment, absentmindedly rubbing his cheek and staring at the ground. The slap stung a bit but it wasn't physical pain that he was worried about. He was honestly a bit heartbroken and guilty at the same time. He never wanted to tell Loki what was going to happen, it didn't involve her. He didn't want her hurt or in the way because of him. It seemed that he had messed up though and there was only one way to fix it. With a small sigh he quickly ran out of the room, hoping to catch up with her.
-
Loki had tried to avoid all the main roads when she was walking back to the castle. She sighed as she finally entered the gardens, practically running to her older sisters room. The last place anyone would expect to find her. Once she heard her sister muttering something along the lines of 'enter'. Sighing Loki entered the room and hopefully looked to her sister who was lazily writing something. "Yes?" "I um. I was hoping you could help me. I want to cut my hair." She mumbled making her older sister smile happily. "Of course." After a half hour later, Loki's hair was dyed to it's natural white colour and hardly reached her shoulders, she had her fringe back which she was surprisingly okay with. "Why don't you take those silly contact lenses out? We all know you have-" "Because I don't want to. It'll raise to much suspicion." Loki quickly snapped, standing up before her older sister could grab her. She sighed as suspicion the blonde threw her some clothing, starting to get dressed in it.
