• ooc: The plot for the roleplay is fairly simple, I think. The old king of Albion, quick name, has passed away, leaving his daughter(your character) as his successor. My character is bound to protect and advise the ruler of the kingdom, but war is fast approaching. Cliché? I love clichés.

ic: Arkonis sighed as he stood in the old king's room, surrounded by books and furniture. "My time has been...ending for quite sometime now, even you realize that." The King said, coughing weakly. Arkonis sighed, staring into the fireplace across from the bedridden ruler. "You were a good man my king, you don't deserve death. Death is for lesser men." The demon replied, his inhuman tone hanging in the air. He glanced back at the king. The old man chuckled which led to another coughing fit.
"No, I'll be gone soon Arkonis. My daughter however, she needs you now. She...needs..." The King fell silent, his hand dropping limply on the bed sheets. Arkonis sighed but nodded, honoring a dead king's last words.

The next day Arkonis stood at attention next to the throne. The funeral was over yet the castle remained mostly empty, the grieving would carry on. He prepared himself, he had helped watched over the young heir her entire life and yet he knew almost nothing about her. He rolled his shoulders, popping them right as the four to the throne room opened.

Louis, or Loki as she liked to be called opened the throne room's doors with a large grin. Her dull unkept green hair covered in paint and mud along with her commoners clothing was hardly appropriate for a member of the royal family. She never really cared for her father as bad as that sounded, but it was only because her father wanted nothing to do with her- or so she thought. She ran a hand through her messy hair as she scanned the room her unique coloured eyes landing on her father's guard or his 'dog' as she liked to mentally call him. It made her wonder why he was here. Somewhat jealous too, her father loved him more then her but that was understandable considering she loved commoners clothing and what was considered dirty to most. Closing the door behind her she walked in not caring one bit if mud fell off her shoes and landed on the perfectly clean floor. She walked slowly as if she was getting ready to sprint, stumbling over her own two feet until she fell down flat on her face.

The seventeen year old sat up, rubbing her now bruised forehead and bleeding nose as she looked to the demon standing there. "Oops? Any who what are you doing here?" She asked suspiciously, half tempted to crawl the rest of the way to the throne. Sighing Loki decided not to crawl since she was in the presents of another, standing up she continued walking until she reached the dark haired demon. The girl covered in paint and dirt was about to say something sarcastic when she fell over on the other making them both fall to the cold ground. "Fuck, should've crawled." She mumbled rolling off the guard and just stated at the ceiling the blood dripping put her nose falling into her mouth.

  • Arkonis sighed in frustration as he picked himself up. This was definitely going to need effort on his part. "I'm here for you...my queen." He said, leaning down and gently pulling Loki to her feet. "I apologize for your father's passing. He cared for you very much. Unfortunately we can't mourn too long my queen, your people need you to lead them." He said, brushing himself off. Although she wasn't exactly the most...preferable heir to the throne she did seem to be around the commoners a lot. A down to earth monarch would be popular, especially during these troubling times. "Shall we move onto the first appointment of the day my queen? I'm afraid we don't have much time to waste."

  • Loki stared at the dark haired demon with a slight frown, lips pressed in a thin line and placed to the side as if she was deciding something. She sighed wiping the blood from her nose with a paint stained black sleeve which didn't do much since it kept coming out. "Can't you handle it? I want to go for a walk." She said running a hand through her messy hair with suspicious look, she very well knew that the strange man wouldn't accept the words but it was fun teasing him. Noticing how buff the guard was she immediately took this as an threat and tried standing in all her 4'11 glory. She backed up with a light smirk hands behind her back. "How about this? If you catch me I'll go and I'll put on some appropriate clothing. If you don't I get to spend the rest of my day doing what I want." She offered already running away, kicking open the throne doors and charging ahead. She swiftly avoided anyone in her path, running up some stairs only to jump off it again.

  • "Oh you have got to be-HEY! GET BACK HERE!" Arkonis quickly sprinted after Loki, cursing under his breath as he dodged people. He was getting much too old for this job. She just kept turning this way and that, he could barely see where she was. He sighed, ducking under a market stall as he ran. "This is not practical!" He yelled as he saw her through the crowd. Okay, so words? No cigar, time to use magic! The demon flexed his hand in front of him, runes appearing on the ground around Loki as she ran. Hopefully she would step in one and slow down, atleast he hoped she would be the only one to do so. The nobles always hated it when he used magic openly.

  • At first Loki didn't notice the magic spells being cast around her, she was too focused on dodging people and jumping over any small obstacles in het path. "I thought you were a noble, not an old man!" She called in a teasing manner, finally loosing her footing and stepping into a rune. The sudden slowing down made the seventeen year old fall on her back she sat up with a childish pout crossing her arms and looking to the side. "That's playing dirty!" She yelled at the air ignoring any strange looks she had gotten afterwards. She wiped blood that was dripping from her nose glaring at the dark haired demon when hr came into veiw.

  • "Oh believe me young one, I'm much older than you'll ever be. As for a noble? Not really, I prefer the simpler life." Arkonis replied, snapping his fingers to make the runes disappear. "Everyone plays dirty in the royal court my queen." He muttered, picking Loki up in a princess hold. He hummed slightly as he strode back to the castle, ignoring the looks he was receiving. Carrying a monarch wasn't something the demon wanted to make a habit of. Atleast he was hoping he wouldn't need to do this too often.

  • Loki shifted in his arms, face seeming to lighten up when she realised she was completely secured. Swiftly moving so she was is hanging over his shoulder, she enjoyed this position way more then the stupid romantic princess hold he was previously holding her in. With luck she'd be somehow tossed to the side and someone like her brother or even snobbish older sister would take over. "So what am I going to wear? No offence -Woah! Someone got's a good ass." She complimented in a crude manner, as if to make her point she slapped his backside playfully. She learnt that trick from commoners and some thiefs she had befriended, if you shock your kidnapper enough they would let you go and you could escape. But this was a demon AND a noble, that combination should never be messed with. Of course that made Loki want to tease him even more. Humming softly the girl kicked her legs in the air letting out a giggle of delight.

  • Arkonis didn't even break stride, only sighing on annoyance. "Please don't do that, especially not in public my queen. As for your dress? I'm afraid that's your responsibility, if you don't have anything I'm sure the maids will get you something to wear." He replied with a roll of his eyes. He honestly didn't know how those maids always seemed to have something just in time. It scared him sometimes. "They'll take care of you because I'm not helping you dress yourself. That's not my job description."

  • "What a shame, maybe I should dress you then." Loki suggested with a large smirk. She laid limb in his grip, nuzzling into his back with a hum which would've been a sweet thing... If she wasn't a seventeen year old hanging from a demon's shoulder. "No way am I going to the maids have you seen how creepy they are? They just stare at you while you get dressed, as if they're a bunch of wolves awaiting to pounce on there prey." She shivered at the thought, rubbing her fingertips together in a deciding manner. "Can you help tighten my corset when I get dressed? I don't know how." She said quietly, despite seeming like she didn't care she really wanted to make a good appearance as her first job as Queen.

  • Arkonis opened his mouth to protest but sighed and closed it. "You're definitely not dressing me. Although you do have a point, they're always watching. I suppose I can help you with that yes, but nothing else involving your clothes." He replied, shivering at the thought of the maids. He was pretty sure they weren't human sometimes. "I'll make sure to tell the guards to gather your subjects and siblings. You'll have to give a speech to comfort their concerns about the kingdom." He said as they reached the castle doors. He set Loki on the ground and brushed himself off. She needed a bath honestly.

  • As if reading the others mind she shot him a death glare, a curse on the tip of her tongue as she kicked open the doors running in and slamming both the doors in the demon's face. Walking up the stairs and entering her room filled with unfished paintings. Grumbling to herself as she started stripping all her clothing and throwing them to the side. Humming she walked to her bathroom that had a bathtub, shower, sink and toilet. She reached in one of the tubs humming as she turned on the shower before trotting back to the room, she hardly cared that the doors was open. She had a small chest and honestly could be mistaken for a male if a person didn't look long enough. Opening her closet she pulled out one of her many lolita styled dresses and elbow high black gloves to match. She got out a corset and underwear placing them both on the bed before walking to the shower in all her naked glory.

The shower didn't last long, mostly because she didn't know how long she had to get ready but thankfully she had gotten all the mud and paint off her body. She stepped out the shower, body dripping water as she stepped out. "Shoot how much time do I have?" She quietly asked herself, wrapping her towel around her hair instead of her body. "Demon dog guy how much time do I have?" She practically shouted jumping to get her black underwear on. Groaning in frustration she fell to the ground struggling to get her black underwear on her wet body. Her frown turned into a smile when she finally accomplished the task quickly standing up and pulling on the corset that would make her waist appear smaller and chest bigger.

  • "About thirty minutes until everyone is here. There'll probably still be drunks tumbling in after that though....demon dog guy my left...." Arkonis muttered the last part under his breath as he stood outside Loki's room. He had told the guards to be slow about gathering everyone. "Please don't take too long regardless, if too many nobles get there first then they'll be all snobby about it." He added, not mentioning how her older sister might react as well. The King spoiled her too much for sure.

He gave one of the maids a nod as she passed, had to be courteous to everyone even if they creeped him out. Seriously they were the reason he had no paintings in his room, especially not ones with people's eyes. "I can have someone draft up a speech while you finish dressing if you wish."

  • Loki pulled on her black thigh high stockings then quickly added her garter belt and suspender. After the last visit with her sister she couldn't help but want to show off no matter how personal it was. She sighed trying to put on the black corset only to fail. The girl stormed out the room, trying to grab the other while holding her corset on her body. "You need to help me I can't tie this." She said, unsure if she was disgusted with the clothing for being so hard to hard to put on or herself for not being able to put it on. Finally she had managed to get the demon in her room turning around and placing both her hands on a wall so he could tie up her clothing.

It would've been rather embarrassing to be almost naked in front of a demon to any other person but with this one she didn't bother being shy. Even thought she hated him in a way she sort of... Trusted him not to do anything suspicious But that didn't mean she wasn't blushing. "J-just don't touch my back okay? It's really sensitive." She warned seriously, it was true every time someone touched her back she would always basically melt in there grasp and moan rather loudly which was never a good thing.

  • What was it with this girl and awkward positions?! He hated this job now, he didn't even get free healthcare anymore! "We never tell anyone of this agreed? Agreed." He muttered as he started tying the corset. He made sure not to touch Loki's back as he carefully tied. Wouldn't want it to come off in the middle of the speech after all. He kept his mind on how a passerby would see this and cursed hinder for not closing the door.

The demon sighed in relief as he stepped away, finally got the corset tied up. "Now please put some clothes on before someone sees." He said over his shoulder as he quickly walked out of the room. He was very glad he could keep himself from blushing. He closed the door behind him to give Loki privacy. "I hate this job." He muttered, rubbing his face.

  • "Thank you!" Loki called, raising an eyebrow when he closed the door, deciding not to worry about it she walked to the bed pulling on her completely white lolita styled dress then making her way to the closet and bringing out some (white) high heels. She stared at herself in the mirror for a moment or so. She grumbled when she noticed she looked like a doll. Defiantly not something she wanted, but did she have a choice? No not at all. Thinking back to the deal the girl with unique coloured eyes paused for a moment, she never said she had to put on makeup. Silently thanking herself she took a hairband and ran out the doors jumping on the demon when she noticed him.

"Look! I've finally gotten a chest." She said as if she was a young child, trotting in front of him so she could smile up at the other. Loki placed one of the demon's hands on her chest as if to prove her point but swatted it away a second later deciding she certainly didn't like the feeling of it. "Where are we going?" The girl asked curiously, acting as she did nothing wrong with complete ease. There was secretly a reason why she was doing all these crude things, because she wanted revenge on him for taking all her father's attention before she had even gotten to know the man.

  • Arkonis felt slightly horrified, rubbing his hand on his pants as if it had something on it. What was it with women and inappropriate touching these days?! Back in his day you'd get your hand cut off for something like that. "I'm going to have to make a list for things that you shouldn't touch or make me touch at this point." He muttered, giving the girl a glare from behind his mask.

"We're going to a balcony that overlooks the castle courtyard, that's where your subjects should be assembled. Follow me please." The demon said, already halfway down the hall by the time he was done speaking. Had anyone taught Loki proper etiquette?! Surely at some point someone would've corrected this behavior, or maybe he had to be the one to do that. He shivered at the thought.

  • Loki walked or more like stumbled after the demon finally catching up to him and straightening up her eyes lazily scanning the hallway. Her eyes landed on her older sister but she ignored her for now as there was no need to talk to her. She hummed a tune while thinking of more ways to make the strange male blush. It was rather amusing, when she was lost in thought she perfectly walked perfectly without a single problem. Loki halted to a stop grabbing the older with large curious eyes. "What's you name?" She asked with a tilted head letting of the other to stare up at him eyes full of awe when she noticed how tall he was.

"Also where will you be tonight? Do you sleep in your own room or beside the king? Because just a warning I drool in my sleep and I have regular nightmares so my stuffed animal is coming no matter what." Loki asked in a rush, she secretly wanted them to be late. But that was mostly because she was so nervous she couldn't move her feet because she was so nervous. She hid both her hands behind her back when she noticed they were shaking, giving the taller a odd smile.

  • Arkonis felt one of his eyes twitch at the questions. This girl was serious wasn't she? "My name is Arkonis. I have a room across from the King, well from your chambers. I'll be on call whenever you need me that way my queen." He replied, glancing back at the older princess. He knew she was furious about not being queen.

"I'll make sure your new chambers are dry and to your liking each time you lay down for sleep my queen." He added, relaxing with a sigh of relief as he spotted the balcony two guards were next to the doorway that led to the balcony and he could hear the crowd below.

  • "Completely to my liking?" Loki wondered, her mind wondering to perverted thoughts. Seconds later blood drizzled from her nose making her curse and take a tissue out from one of her little pockets, quickly wiping any blood before it had gotten on her white dress. After as moment or so the bleeding stopped. "Okay, perverted thoughts cleared." She said looking quite proud of herself as she tossed the bloodstained napkin to her older sibling whom let out a shriek of disgust not a second later. The seventeen year old stumbled at the last step the the balcony, almost falling over but catching herself at the last moment. "Off to a great start aren't I?" She quietly asked while waving with a closed eyed smile.

Loki's whole body tensed up when commoners started flooding her with questions about changes from the kingdom, immediately shrinking back when she heard a voice ask her why her father didn't choose her sister to be queen. But the last comment about Loki killing her own father made her snap. The green haired girl slowly raised her hand capturing everyone's attention but instead of saying something sweet and innocent she death glared at the entire crowd. "Shut your dirty jackass mouths!" She yelled making everyone go quiet with shock that such rude words came out of a princess's mouth. Loki ran a gloved hand through her hair taking a deep breath before continuing again. "Now to put it bluntly, I did not sign up for this job and honestly if there was a choice I would've said no. But there wasn't a choice for me so I have to deal with it. Just like you now have to deal with me being your Queen." She said, placing her hands on the balcony her glare challenging.

"I know we all want my father back but unfortunately no matter how many times we wish for him to come back he never will.. So do you think blaming me for his death will somehow bring him back? No not at all. I personally hardly knew the man but what he wanted was for his kingdom to become strong and healthy. So why don't we all work together for this placed to become better?" She asked the crowd, trying her best to hide her amused smirk. These commoners were practically agreeing with everything she said. Loki backed away bowing politely. "Thank you for your time. You truly were an horrible audience." She said getting some laughs even though she wasn't joking.
