    I'M YOUR LIONHEART — alice — windclan — she/her — tags

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]//obviously you just change your character's gender - it can be any gender, just not the same one! since your character may not notice the change you can alter their physical appearance or even behaviour to suit c;

    Alice had woken up as per usual to the sun creeping into the bedroom. The sandy-furred advisor followed through her usual morning routine - sit up, stretch, allow her eyes to adjust to the sudden light. She still felt quite groggy as she had the breakfast Vader had dragged in for them; no, it was not until she set off to begin her daily business she noticed that something felt - off. The lioness paused on the porch of the family chalet, and seated herself for a moment, confused. She felt... physically bulkier, heavier. To onlookers, her angular, feminine features had squared out noticeably; darker, longer hairs that seemed to be the beginnings of a mane warmed her neck. It was the hairs that she noticed first; suspicions raised, Alice's head ducked between her forelegs and "she" winced visibly. "Mom? Dad?" she called, unsure of who else to explain this to - and her voice, oh boy. It was much deeper and gruff - not at all recognisable. What was she going to do about this? Just fricking great, it was.

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][color=beige]There didn't seem to be an all too visible physical change for Kate so there was no reason for her to believe there was anything out of the ordinary right now for her. And had she recognized Alice's voice, she probably would have went to go check on her(or was him now?) to see what was the matter. The serval padded over with a confused look on her(now his) face. Kate did not recognize this lion. Were they new? "Is everything alright?--" Kate would begin but stopped completely, her eyes widening in horrified confusion. Kate's voice was very masculine. And that was because she was now... well. A male right along with Alice.

    [align=justify]His mane was gone. It was something he immediately noticed. He ran his good paw over his head, a small frown etched on his face. Where had all that beautiful hair gone? He was thinner now as well, slightly shorter. He pushed up from his sleeping spot under a tree, turning toward the chalet near by that happened to be his family's. At first he thought maybe it was Pluto out on the porch, but it didn't look much like him. Even though lions seemed to all look the same, he could tell the differences between each of his siblings. He padded over, his missing mane still bothering him. It just felt weird not having all that hair. "Hey, what's going on?" His mouth snapped shut. Why was his voice so high-pitched? He sounded like a girl. (which he was now, apparently)

    [align=justify]This was... new. Lusa awoke feeling larger than before. The Guardian dismissed it as a growth spurt; after all, the girl was still young and growing. Perhaps she'd grown more than she initially thought?

    Thick, ivory claws curled into the grass below. A large cranium, swung back and forth, Lusa's soft and chubby features hardened, her features even wider than normal. The girl felt a medium level of discomfort on her larger vessel, but it couldn't be too much of a hassle, right? Lusa had yet to notice the small changes to her form.

    The bulky Guardian waddled over to Kate, a question lingering on her muzzle. Her viridian luminaries traveled over the form of the lion; were they a newcomer in WindClan? The poor lad seemed lost, calling out for his mother. Lusa felt her... or rather his features soften in sympathy, before he parted his maw to speak. Kate beat her to the chase however, and what came next was completely unexpected. The rabbit's voice was even deeper, gruffer than normal. Lusa furrowed her wide brows in confusion and concern. Perhaps she'd gotten sick?

    "Got a col-?" The Guardian paused seconds before he could finish his sentence, just now realizing what was wrong with her voice. The voice that rolled from her tongue was a deep, thick baritone, unfamiliar to her ears. The girl inwardly cringed, and all that she managed to get out of her throat was a confused "Uhn?" She was sickened to hear that deep voice again that rolled from her throat shortly after Luke arrived. What had happened overnight?

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Oh crap - Kate didn't even recognise her. Panic fluttered in her chest and Alice rose to her paws. She wasn't a newcomer! "Kate!" she called, cringing at the rumble of her voice. "It's me, Alice!" It seemed whatever prank had been pulled was affecting everyone - haha, very funny. Couldn't it end there? Kate sounded really strange, though at least looked familiar. It would take time to recognise some of the others. The lioness approaching couldn't be Padmè, and was missing the suit; too big to be Pluto. "Luke?" Alice questioned, and glanced to Lusa. At least there was only one bear in the clan, though judging by her deepened voice, it was obvious what had occurred. Well, not the cause - but clearly everyone's genders had changed.

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][color=beige]Kate frowned. That was Alice? That sounded and looked nothing like Alice, what exactly happened? Was this some sort of scientific experiment gone wrong? It wasn't like Kate minded terribly. All of their sexes changing should nt be a big deal. They were all the same old Windclanners, no matter what kimd of body changes happened to them. It was just... odd this seemngly happened over night. "Was anyone awake last night to see or hear what happened to us, exactly?" It was a long shot, but it was worth asking anyways

    Henry didn't notice anything had happened. He woke up feeling pretty much the same. He was already small for a male canine and there wasn't much of a size difference. He was already slender for a male canine as well so there was no apparent weight different. He just woke up and went about his day without thinking too much about it. However, as he exited the library and came across a group of strangers, he felt confused. Where had all of Windclan gone and who were these people? He had read about alien abductions in one of the books in the library. Was this one of those? Were those normal? Henry thought the author had sounded rather paranoid but if this was the case then he was sure it'd certainly be fascinating. "What's going on?" And there was Henry's only difference. His voice was significantly higher pitched and a look of shock came to his face after he heard himself. What was happening?

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][color=beige]Okay. So it looked like everyone was effected by this. And no one seemed to know why. This all had to be a dream. A really weird dream. Maybe he ate a bad piece of fruit last night? Kate had convinced himself that was the problem right now. "... We've all... changed." It wasn't exactly the most descriptive answer. "We're all in different bodies and... well..." he trailed off, figuring the others would get the idea.

    Fifer didn't really care what gender he was physically; he identified as male. That was how it had always been. But with shapeshifting, the Egyptian didn't really care what he ended up as. Of course, to have it happen unintentionally was something new. The sable was more slender, graceful, and he, or she now, he supposed, did not like the suddenness of this. "Hey, I didn't sign up for this." God, was that his voice? He frowned. Well, at least he went alto.

    The wolf was more broad now with thicker shoulders and more muscular limbs, though was still a touch thinner than your usual wolf. But the disoriented Victorianpaw didn't seem to notice that she was now in a male body or that her clanmates were in opposite gendered forms as well. Instead, as she wandered up to them, the Advisor commented softly, "Did you know when hippos are upset, their sweat turns red."

    "I don't think any of us did," Luke said with a glance toward Fifer. He turned toward Victorianpaw, ears perked - it felt weird when they didn't brush past any fur and instead were just there. She didn't seem bothered with it and her fact was quite interesting, "I didn't know that. I'm not even sure I've seen a hippo before."

    The newly made male gave a small nod before falling silent once again. She may not have had remarked on the gender-swaps at first, mostly because her mind told her these were new people and those she knew merely in a mutated state. But now it was beginning to make her head ache. "Clownfish can change their gender if a large mating fish is removed somehow from the breeding grounds," murmured Victorian in a quiet remark, her head tilting slightly to the side as she began to focus in on some of the genderbent clanmates.
