  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]He'd been instructed to get a confusing piece of "twoleg" technology for his weekly task, Marrowescape apparently not realizing that Ryan was a former human. He'd ended up grabbing the first bit of human tech he could find, returning with a phone. He knew exactly how it worked, even the counter-intuitive parts. Climbing back aboard the ship, he set the phone down and waited for someone to come over and guess what it was - after all, it looked like little more than a piece of glass in a black case.

  • REMILIA SCARLET

"What is this." Lacking expression, her question ended up coming out as a sentence, and in general... Remilia looked extremely unamused.
Don't mind her attitude too much though. She was still trying to get used to this place and adjust, and she still didn't know anyone too well yet, so she stayed on guard.

  • The chi padded up and snorted at the peace of two-leg technology. "Its one of those rectangles that are always attached to humans hands." The male grumbled staring down at it. "They're always staring at'em and laughing at'em, and ignoring everything else to be with their beloved rectangles. So they must be important." The tan dog said with a sassy wave of his paw.

    Humans were weird.
"Well, what does it do?" she asked. If they had one, would they be able to use it? Or should they just trash it?
Remilia had bad memories of the humans anyway.

  • "Do humans have a name for their rectangle things?" Xylia didn't hesitate to ask any questions, especially since Dinky and Remilia were asking questions too. Well, Remilia was anyway. Dinky sounded like he knew a thing or two. How much did Ryan know about it? Where did he get it? Why was it important to humans? How many questions could she squeeze into one breath?

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"It's a phone." He said, pretty much for everyone's benefit really. A flare of irritation rose in him at Dinky's explanation. "They are important." He snapped. "Imagine being able to find out anything, talk with anyone, all with the push of a button? To be able to record everything so you'll never forget it, listen to music, watch videos, play games. Well, with this all of that's possible. Of course, this one's almost useless without a connection." There was only the smallest bit of battery power left, but he doubted the Skulls' island got any kind of wifi. There had been some wifi where he'd gotten it, though.
