Firebird padded through the entrance of the dripping remains of the camp. Though, luckily, most of the structure was salvageable, all of the materials that could rot had to be replaced. The ginger she-cat turned to the cat beside her, "Shrewfoot, we should probably collect moss and brambles to start rebuilding." She looked toward the clan's deputy for approval, tugging a waterlogged piece of moss out of the closest nest.

Featherkit crouched on the ground in a hunter's position, slowly crawling toward a loose bramble that hung from the battered nursery wall. He sprung on to it, clawing until the entire tendril pulled loose. He hesitantly turned to see a scolding look from his mother, which caused him to dip his head bashfully. "I'm bored, isn't there anything to do?"

  • Skypool sat in the clearing, she was washing her paws. She had just woken up a little while ago.

Thornpaw laid in the apprentices den sleeping, he had missed his wake up call.

Badgerpelt was out in the woods, he was stalking a mouse

  • Wolfstar padded over to his den, or what was left of it anyway. He sighed as a weight hung heavy deep within him, all he wanted was to rest. His body was exhausted, and he had done his best during to flood to save his clanmates. It had cost two of his own lives, but it was worth it. Now, he was paying the price as he struggled to recover from the shock.

  • Shrewfoot was licking another cats fur the wrong way trying to warm themm up. He lifted his head at the words of Firebird. He nodded in agreement. He glanced towards Squirrelcloud before speaking. "Okay; Badgerpelt, let's start to clear out the warriors den. And Firebird you and Skypool can work on the apprentice den. We should have this place cleaned up in no time." He glanced towards featherkit flicking his ear. He started for warriors den and started to toss out all the wet moss.

Snowdrop was by the nursery, well where the nursery would be. Her eyes were full of worry as she started to clear out the tight space. The roof had caved in so there was only a small opening left. She looked at featherkit. Thinking a moment, "hey featherkit, want to help me? I bet I can collect more sticks that are not broken." She hoped that he would think of it as a game. The she-cat glanced towards Wolfstar, he looked exhausted. She would never get the look of him loosing a life out of her mind... The way his body convulsed....

  • Badgerpelt nodded and looked at Shrewfoot before padding over

Skypool looked up from her spot, she have a nod and stretched

Ooc.dusty, is there anything special you'd like to do with Skypool and Snowdrop, and Badgerpelt and Shrewfoot, just wanna ask since my cats have a crush on yours?

  • Slowly padding into his den, Wolfstar looked around. He sighed deeply at the sticks that had washed in and the soaking moss that seemed to coat the ground. His claws unsheathed, he began clawing up the sticks and moss until they were heaped in the corner. This was something he wanted to take care of on his own, the Clan had other things to worry about besides his comfort.

  • Firebird nodded, padding over to Skypool and joining her outside the apprentice's den. "I think there is enough brambles and bracken still intact to fix the den, but the moss is going to have to all come out..."

Featherkit's eyes brightened, "No you can't! I will!" The young kit shot up and began to sniff around for twigs. He was going to find the most sticks that Snowdrop had ever seen!

  • Skypool said "yeah I think so" as she looked around the den she saw a still sleeping Thornpaw

Ooc. The western flame I was thinking can Firebird be the cat Skypool goes to for advice about her little crush on snowdrop, like their best friends

  • OOC: I love that idea! That'd be great!

Firebird purred in amusement, "Someone was worn out." She gently nudged the sleeping tom, "Wake up Thornpaw, your clan needs your help." The ginger she-cat knew the small tom was tuckered out from trying to escape the water, and she felt bad for having to wake him up.

  • (OOC: Not sure, I kinda want it all to play out in roleplay. Snowdrop does have a crush on Wolfstar though. But other than that if you have anything in mind you can always pm me! :D))

Snowdrop purred watching the kit. He would make a great apprentice one day. He is spunky and will do great. she thought to herself. The she-cat started to pull sticks out of the mess. She started to separate the broken ones from the intact ones. Hoping featherkit would get all the good ones and they would have divided the mess.

Shrewfoot turned to look towards Badgerpelt. "Atleast the warriors den is still intact." He joked slightly. The tom looked up to the roof and started to fold sticks back into the den.

  • Firebird rolled her eyes, "Okay, mousebrain." She turned to Thornpaw again, "Come on sleepyhead, the early apprentice gets the squirrel." She flicked her tail gently over the tom's muzzle.

Featherkit struggled with twigs between his chin and chest and in his jaws. "Fnowdwop, I found dome fticks!" His muffled voice sang as he dropped the batch of twigs onto the pile. "Did I do okay?"

  • Snowdrop smile as the pile seemed to look cleaner. She turned as a muffled featherkit spoke. "Yes featherkit you did great! Way better then me!" She purred. Snowdrop then leaned down. "No here's the hard part we have to make a den out of these sticks." She meowed with an awe tone. "Here I'll start." The creamy she-cat started to twist the twigs and forming a den again.

Shrewfoot smiled as the den started to become cleaner.

  • Featherkit squealed, and gripping a stick between his teeth, managed to loosely patch up a hole. "Like that?" He wanted to make sure that he and Firebird stayed warm and snug.

Firebird turned to her friend, "Yes, Skypool?"

  • "Hm..." Firebird knowingly hummed. She knew that feeling all too well these days. "Ah, does this cat know about your little crush?" She picked up a soggy clump of moss in her claws, flicking it to throw it into the pile of ruined nests.

  • "Oh," the she-cat paused, "Do they... Is it possible they like you back?"
