Amy sighed but smiled softly.

*Sonic arrived at the school*
"Yo, headteach!"
*The headteacher turned, and groaned seeing him Sonic... "Ah, one of my old pupils... How are you?"
"I'm fine, look- I need every kid in this school to be pulled out now"
"What?! Are you mad?!"
"No, look- long story, but somethings amiss and I ain't liking it. I don't want to risk the children's safety"
"...Alright..." He walks out to the intercom, pressing a button so his voice would be heard all around the school. "Pupils, due to unforeseen issues I regret to inform you that school will be cancelled from tomorrow onwards"

Aurora looked up as the intercom came on, ears flicking. "That's... weird," she muttered, ears flattening. "Why would they just cancel school..."

*Crystal shrugs "no idea, but conviently enough the prom is still on.."

Aurora facepalmed. "Seriously?"

*Crystal sweat drops "unfortunately, yes..."
(Actually, if you want to see it; I've written a little side story for this thread that happens a few months before this)

The speedy hedgehog rolled her eyes. "Well, lucky for those who are going."

"Yea..." She pulled out a book she had been reading recently and continues reading it

Aurora sighed and continued to work.

*It was break/recess/whatever you want to call it and Crystal was, as per usual, sitting alone reading a book, until-
"Hello, dearie"
*She looked up then her eyes widened as she saw who it was "D-Derrick..."

Aurora was playing soccer with the other kids, keeping an eye on Crystal like she usually did. She perked her ears when she saw Derrick, frowning.

*Crystal gritted her teeth, begging that it would end-
"So, yesterday... That little lightning shock wasn't very nice, now was it?"
"N-N-No, it wasn't... A-a-and I a-a-apologise..."
*Derrick scoffs, raising an eyebrow

Aurora ran over, huffing as she sat beside crystal and hugged her. "Hey, Buddy! Is this guy bothering you?" She shot a glare at Derrick

*she returns the hug shaking her head "no, he isn't as much of a pest as usual..."
"A pest?- Hah! Crys, you can't even stand up for yourself! You have to get pinky here to fight your battles, you anti social-"
*Derrick paused, and before he knew it, he was surrounded in a turquoise blue light as he was picked up slowly by psychokinesis- "H-Hey!" He looks at Aurora "Put me down!"
*Crystal's eyes were closed, she was also surrounded in a turquoise blue light

Aurora perked and hugged Crystal tighter. "Hey, Crystal, it's all right. He's not worth it, okay?" She spoke in a soothing voice, rubbing her friend's shoulders.

*Crystal nodded slowly, the light fading around her as Derrick dropped to the ground
"Grr..." Derrick stood up; he was fuming "How dare you?!"

"Shut up and go away," Aurora growled. "You wanna fight me?"
