  • Although the collie seemed rather nice most of the time, there were days when he would come off as the opposite, today being one of those days. He sat on the edge of the camp, batting something around in his paws un-enthusiastically in the dirt. If one were to look closer at the scene, they would see that it was a small mouse, squeaking every once in a while as a paw hit it in the side. Looking even closer, faint words could be heard escaping from his lip as he sat there. "Would anyone miss you if you were to die today? I imagine mice have family, but not the loving bonds as other creatures do. Would they just go upon their day without realizing anything or anyone was missing? These are things you should be imagining right now."

  • Upon hearing the rabbit speak, he appeared to switch back to his normal attitude, trapping the mouse in between his paws before smiling. "Well, the fellow's going to get eaten eventually, so I don't think he'll mind being battered around as long as he lives another day. But if you insist." With that he let it go, the poor thing standing there for a second before bolting. "You would think a talking rabbit would be pretty noticeable, but I don't think we've met before! The name's Bain, what do you prefer doing for fun?" The dog's tail had started to wag by now, all traces of his earlier attitude gone.

    THIS TIME I'LL BE BULLETPROOF

Elliot raised her brow as a rabbit sprinted past her, staring towards the direction it had appeared in. Sanepaw and Fiver. She got up from her mechanical station and headed over, plonking down near to them. "You could have eaten it."

  • "Ah yes, but have you ever heard the story 'The Lion and the Mouse'? If not, it's about this lion who captures a mouse, but the rodent begs for him to spare her, for one day she might do the same for him in return. Unconvinced but generous, the lion let the mouse go. One day the lion got trapped in a big net, and unable to free himself, he called out for the mouse. Rembering that the lion had let her go, she chewed through the ropes and set him free. Now I doubt that particular mouse will remember that, but it's a nice thought, isn't it?" He rambled, finally stopping in order to catch a breath. "In summary, I'm super bored, so what'cha doing?

    THIS TIME I'LL BE BULLETPROOF

"I thought that the lion ate the mouse, but, ya know, I had a messed up childhood," Elliot smirked at the story, before shrugging as an answer to the next question. In all honesty, she'd been reading books about ships and planes but... that was embarrassing.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][color=beige]Kate was not comfortable on the topic of eating other animals. She was a shapeshifter, and her original body was a rabbit. Of course, most people who lived here now did not know this, as she avoided her original body quite often due to other mistreating her in the past for being an animal most others considered "an animal of prey". She was still a strict vegetarian, which was why she tended to her garden daily, she needed the food. She understood others needed to eat meat. But... discussing the matter certainly made her stomach church. Which was why she was more than thankful she had not been around to see him eat it. She probably would have kept away in that had been the case. In hopes of changing the topic temporarily, the serval padded over, wanting to get better acquainted to Sanepaw, since she'd never seen him around before today. "I uh... I don't think I've met you before. Did you join recently?" she asks curiously. "I'm Kate. What's your name?"
