"Yeah me neither, although it must've been good. It felt absolutely stunning, just like you I suppose." Samuel nodded, gently reaching over and tilting Charlotte's chin up to meet her eyes as he spoke. "It's love that makes it feel like it does. It wouldn't be special without our love." He added, smiling as he blush darkened. He was considering going in for another kiss but decided if he did his heart might explode. It was nearly thumping out of his chest already. He hoped that was because of love and not some condition from being outside for the first time in his life.

Well, that was a lie: she occasionally glance down at them for a brief moment before immediately staring back into his eyes again, her flush burning bright. She absolutely adored the warm, fuzzy feeling she got when they briefly kissed that one time, and pursing her lips she slowly scooter closer. They were almost touching. Then, Charlie decided to try something. Hesitantly reaching up, she cupped one side of his face with her hand and stared at him for a few moments, her thumb gently caressing his cheek. After a few brief, awkward moments of sitting still she gained enough courage to lean forward, and eventually her lips gently pressed against his. It was an unsure kiss: she was hesitant to begin with and a small part of her wanted to stop even before she began, but she couldn't back out now! Charlie decided to wait for his response before continuing further.

Samuel's eyes widened and he gasped in surprise but he quickly closed his eyes and kissed back. He was determined to hold this kiss as long as he could, so that the feeling exploding in his chest would stay. Charlotte felt amazing, her warmth was intoxicating as he twisted his head slightly to deepen the kiss. She was so soft and cute, he wrapped his arms around her as he gently pulled her closer. He loved Charlie with no doubt, the feeling she gave him was so addicting. He hoped she felt the same amazing feeling he did.

[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]Charlotte's senses were practically drowned with a warm, fuzzy feeling when he deepened the kiss, which was enough to tell her to keep going. When he wrapped his arms around her to pull her close she suppressed a squeak of surprise, and eventually her other arm coiled around his neck, allowing her to get even closer. She didn't want the moment to end, but her body had other plans and would eventually demand air, but until then she enjoyed the feeling coursing through her body. Murmuring softly against his lips, her glasses slid down the bridge of her nose and gently rested up against his face, which kept them from falling off. She did notice this, but she was currently preoccupied with other, more important things at the moment so she decided to ignore it.
***sorry! I fell asleep...

(It's alright)
Samuel pulled away after another few moments for air. He chuckled as he pushed the glasses back up Charlotte's nose before they fell off. He couldn't have his loved one blind after all. He was breathless, both from the kiss itself and the feeling it gave him. "Yeah, amazing feeling." He muttered with a small smile as he set another quick peck on her cheek. He couldn't help it, sitting there breathless and blushing was just too cute. He quickly banished any thoughts about how else he could make her look like that. Nope no time for thinking like that Sammy.

***I was in class TwTCharlotte murmured softly when he pulled back, and frowning subtly, she thought all her blood might rush to her face after he pecked her cheek. She didn't even recover from their previous kiss yet! A quiet, embarrassed whine escaped her lips as she averted her gaze, clearly flustered. She tried to form a sentence, but her sentences turned into garbled speech when they left her mouth, and eventually she gave up trying to speak. The warmth coursing through her body was on the brink of being uncomfortable, and shifting around in his embrace, her mind was racing. Then, mustering enough courage to look up at his face, an embarrassed smile was upon her lips. "Maybe I...maybe I should t-t-try g-getting contacts..." Charlie mumbled, referring to the fact that her glasses almost fell off. The look on his face was a bit concerning, but she didn't question it.
-
"Aww, but it's so cute when you're trying to keep them from falling off. They give me and excuse to kiss you too." Samuel replied, giving Charlotte's neck a small playful nibble. He was only teasing of course, he wouldn't mind what she did. "If you want you can get them though, I'll still be crazy for you." He added, nuzzling into her neck with a contented sigh. (Rushed)

[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]***I was doing HW TwT
Charlotte squeaked audibly when Samuel nibbled her neck, and her disappearing flush came back in a matter of seconds. She didn't protest, though, and her lips curled into a smile when he nuzzled into her neck. "W-W-Well, i-if you like t-them s-s-so much, I-I-I'll keep t-them," she chuckled quietly, her small smile turning into an awkward grin. Charlie was clearly flustered: she was still wondering why he nibbled her. She wasn't mad or anything--she actually enjoyed the brief feeling it sent up her nerves--but she was still was confused about the action. Hesitantly, she slowly wrapped her arms around Samuel's torso and shuffled forward, humming softly.
-
"Nah, I just think you look cute with them. Of course your blushing face can always replace them." Samuel teased, leaning back just enough so that he could look into Charlie's eyes. "Whatever helps you see better my dear, as long as you're happy then I'm happy." He added, giving her another quick peck on the cheek. He didn't really care what Charlotte decided so long as she was comfortable with it. He wouldn't be the one wearing them after all, well he hoped not anyway. His eyes seemed fine to him.
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]Charlie hummed in reply, and slowly bringing one arm to her neck, she subconsciously rubbed the area where he nibbled her. It didn't hurt, nor was it irritating her in any way, she just did it. Did she know? No. She didn't make a conscious decision to do so. Looking up at Samuel, her blush finally started to fade away, but it was taking its sweet time. "Contacts kind-of scare me," she admitted with a short, embarrassed chuckle. "What if they get stuck in your eye? What if you sleep with them on? There are to many questions..." judging by the look on Charlie's face, she was trying to answer some of them. They seemed like a hassle now that she thought about it: she'd have to buy the proper materials, a case, and replace them every time she ran out. Glasses were easier, in her opinion. They did take away her depth perception, though, which wasn't too appealing. However, having a clear plastic film stuck in your eye didn't sound appealing, either.
-
"Yeah but I suppose it's one of those things people just have to get used to. Like my gas mask, when I first got it I really never wore it. It helped calm my nerves though so I just kept wearing it, it was one of the few things in that place that I could trust." Samuel said, shrugging slightly as he thought about it. He noticed Charlotte's arm move but she didn't seem aware of it, he figured if his nibble had hurt she probably would've already said something about it so he didn't worry. He did worry about Charlie's current topic though. "You could maybe try both?" He suggested after a moment of thought. It seemed like a sound solution to him at the moment anyway.
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]Charlotte hummed quietly, deep in thought. Then, shrugging, she nodded. "I could try both," she replied, agreeing with his proposal. Like he said, she might get used to wearing contacts eventually. Then, humming softly, she wrapped her free arm around his neck, and her other arm joined it soon after. Her flush finally subsided--a light dusting of pink across her cheeks was all that remained--and humming softly she glanced around. "Do you...want to watch something?" she asked, pointing to the TV mounted to the wall. She didn't know if he knew what a TV was or not, but she could always just explain it to him. Then, she remembered something from awhile ago, while they were escaping the lab. "Oh! Now that we're safe, you can go outside if you'd like."
-
Samuel thought about it for a moment before shrugging. He couldn't help but give a small hum of content as Charlie wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'll watch TV for a little bit, I'm curious about what's going on in the world. I can see the outside an all that later, I just want to cuddle with you for now." He said after a moment, his flush brightening slightly at the last sentence. Wow he really needed to be careful, words just spilled out of his mouth around Charlotte apparently. Not always a bad thing though, he supposed.
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]Nodding in reply, Charlotte looked over at the remote and, reluctantly, moved one of her arms and leaned forward to grab it. Pressing the power button, the television turned on a few moment after, and needed some time to load. Staring at the blank screen for a few moments, Charlie nearly jumped when it suddenly turned on, and flushing due to embarrassment she turned the volume down a little bit and started to flip through the channels. "What do you want to watch? There's the animal channel, the News, the history channel..." Charlotte started to list off all the informative channels from her memory, and she silently hoped he wouldn't choose the animal one. Nature was a cruel, bloody thing and she clearly cannot handle a lot of bloody, gory details or imagery. In fact, when watching a documentary on Hyenas, her friend had to turn off the TV because she almost fainted. Almost. She got lucky that time.
-
"Can I see the News for a moment? After that maybe the history channel, the animal channel doesn't sound too interesting to me honestly. Then I'd be no better than the people that watched me." Samuel answered, joking at the last part. He knew how Charlotte reacted to blood as well, so he wouldn't want her being uncomfortable just because of his curiousity. That would just be plain rude in his opinion. (Rushed)
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]Nodding in reply, Charlie flipped through the channels until she found the News, and sighing quietly she adjusted he glasses. She only watched the News during the morning, and sometimes at night. So, this was different. Watching the screen with a curious expression, her look quickly turned into one of dread when she realized something. Would his disappearance be on the News? Would she be on the News? Her parents watched the News 24/7--sometimes Charlie thought they didn't know other channels existed---so they'd find out about this soon enough if that was the case. Watching the program with wide, nervous eyes she startled to chew on her thumbnail, clearly agitated.

"Today we have a very interesting story about a lab doing awful science. The horrible experiments were brought to light by a scientist there by the name of Dr. Alistair." The reporter said, outside of the lab. It was surrounded by swag and police cars. Samuel leaned in as he watched, watching with wide eyes although his face was emotionless. "After the report Dr. Alistair presented he along with a woman by the name of Charlotte Thomas were automatically free of all charges, the main subject of the experiments simply known as Subject-1 is apparently free. Maybe our world does still have room for happy endings."
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]When Charlie processed the last sentence a sudden sigh of relief escaped her lips--it was actually pretty loud--as she slumped forward as much as she could. Since she was still in his embrace she couldn't lean forward much, but she did what she could do. "Thank God," Charlotte sighed, placing the remote to her side and rubbing her temples. "At least we won't be chased by the Police now!" She chuckled, then paused, her smile turning into a frown. "Those lab members may have other plans, though," she sighed, looking down. "I did ruin their careers." That was true: the Reporter didn't mention anything about the scientists, so they were probably apprehended.
-
Samuel smiled, leaning over and pressing another kiss to Charlie's cheek. "We're free my dear, no one will come after us. I'm not sure I wanted to fight the Police yet anyway, I can save that for a later date." He was joking about that last one, he didn't really want to fight anyone if he could avoid it. He didn't need another person on his guilty conscience after all. He let go of Charlotte, leaning back into his seat on the couch with a relieved sigh. "True permanent freedom, it feels amazing. Is this how you feel all the time? Not a care in the world?"
-
[center][fancypost=backgground-color: none; border: none; width: 425px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt]"Actually, it depends," Charlie admitted, chuckling nervously and rubbing the back of her head. "Sometimes I feel like I'm free when no one else is around, and sometimes I don't," she sighed, averting her gaze. "I used to take freedom for granted, but now that I met you..." finally mustering up enough courage to look at him, an awkward smile found its way upon her lips. "I'll enjoy it a lot more," she couldn't maintain that courage for long, though, and she looked away again only a few moments after.
