    Werewolves are instantly linked to their mate, or mates, whenever they catch their scent. It is often with another werewolf, but it’s not surprising to see them mate with multiple individuals or humans. However, the mating is a lot different than the “mating rituals” of humans. It’s an instantaneous attraction for the werewolf or werewolves and they quickly need a way of “marking” their mate. It doesn’t have to be a sexual encounter, but it is still an intimate action.
    The plot is this: a couple have been going out for a couple of months. Everything is going swimmingly, nothing is going too fast and it almost seems like it is love… until they meet a werewolf. Whom doesn’t mate with just one of them, instead he mates with both of them. The couple doesn’t know how to react and is quite freaked out by the man’s weird behavior.

    Personality: Benjamin is a total hothead and easily irritated by nearly everyone and everything. You could say he has a bit of a Napoleon Complex, mainly because he is shorter than the average male and has an overly aggressive personality. However, there is one source that seems to calm his demeanor. That would the person he would consider his girlfriend. Despite many thinking he has a rather “tough” personality like a rock, his personality is more like a cactus: hard and prickly on the outside, but soft and mooshy on the inside. Meaning he is a bit sensitive, but doesn’t show it well.

    Personality: Mari is a kind and considerate soul who always puts others before herself. She is very diligent and puts her studies above everything except for her beloved boyfriend. She'd die for Benny if the situation ever arrived. Mari is very social, and can easily make friends, although she knows who would make a good friend and who wouldn't. However, she tries sstoo hard to make everyone happy and ends up not being so herself.

    Gender: Male
    Personality: Lex loves to meet new people and is hyper and enjoys all displays of PDA. He has no boundaries or personal space and has difficulty understanding others. Because of werewolves often polyamorous nature he is very flirty and open, he doesn't get one people want to lock themselves into relationships with a single person. Lex is also very possessive, partly due to pack behavior but also due to the fact that when he marks someone they 'belong' to him and other werewolves can't mark them, this makes him want to lavish them. He is quick to fight and protect if anything gets in the way of either of them.
    Other: I wasn't sure if you wanted him to be a lot older or around the same age, let me know if there is anything else I should change/add

    (Awesome, and don't worry too much about the age. I wanted him to be around the same age as Bibi and Mari or slightly older, as long as he wasn't the youngest.)


    (I guess I'll start us off. I'm going to keep the start simple and say it is a date for Mari and Bibi in the park, if that's alright? If you have a more interesting starting point, feel free to share.)


    Benjamin couldn't fathom the idea that he was the first one to the park. He sat on a rather uncomfortable, wooden bench. His arms folded and one leg that was crossed, but one calf resting on the other knee. Usually he was the one that was late. His family didn't really enforce the idea of time management into his brain. However, he wasn't the least upset with whom he was waiting for. Of course, that didn't stop him from glaring or narrowing his eyes at passer-bys. Mari, where are you? He wasn't glaring because he hated people, it was mainly due to the fact that he was a very uncomfortable individual. He folded his arms and leaned his head back with closed eyes.


    (Ah, I'm sorry this is by far one of my worst starting posts for an RP. I swear it will get better once we get the ball rolling.)

    Mari jogged through the concrete paths of the park, searching desperately for her boyfriend. She was never one to be late for a date, so this development came as a surprise even to her. Then again, it wasn't her fault that an ownerless dog had just managed to find its way into her vision. It had a tag, so she helped the little guy home without quite realizing how late it was getting. Once she had, however, she ran to the park, scared that Benny would be angry with her. Mari ran a hand through her hair, her eyes glancing this way and that in hopes of catching sight of her beloved.



    "Benny!" she called, gasping in delight once she saw him. She waved her hands above her head excitedly as she made her way over, greeting the male with a kiss on the cheek. She didn't want to embarrass him too much, so she avoided his lips for now.

    Benjamin shifted his head slightly when he heard his name. He had recognized the voice and it instantly made him smile. Before he could move from the bench, Mari had already made her way over to him. His eyes seemed to only focus on her and his smile seemed jovial. The only change in his expression was the kiss on the cheek he received. His cheeks turned a dark shade of pink. He wasn't exactly the most comfortable with public displays of affection, though he didn't hate it when it was Mari.


    He then stood up next to her and wrapped his arms around her in a short hug. It wasn't difficult considering they were nearly the same height. As he pulled back, he opened his mouth to speak. "I'm relieved you're here, I was starting to get worried." He gently rubbed at the back of his neck uncomfortably, worrying on whether he looked like an overly-obsessed boyfriend. He didn't want to be that type of guy.

    Lex had been enjoying a stroll, it was a great way to end a fast paced day. He hadn't expected that the scent of two other people would drive him insane in seconds. He went towards them as soon as he caught the scent. He saw the two of them, one just arriving and the other sitting on the bench, he watched them kiss and felt something stir. He made a move towards them quickly. "I think I'm in love with you." He said as he approached the bench suddenly reaching to take both of their hands in his, "both of you." He added so they wouldn't become confused.


    //I hope this is okay ::) I wasn't sure how he should mate them. I can change it if need be

    One second it was just Mari and Benjamin enjoying the start of their date. In another second a man appeared out nowhere, confessed his love (to both of them), and grabbed their hands. Benjamin was still getting used to being intimate with Mari, so this wasn't exactly in his comfort level. His cheeks turned a red shade and his mouth sputtered slightly.


    "Eh..." Benjamin raised an eyebrow at the strange behavior. It was obvious he didn't know quite how to respond. "Is this a joke?" He turned his head to look at Mari, obviously wondering if she was in on it. He then shook his head, knowing better than to think that. Of course she wouldn't, she knew how much he hated being touched by strangers. As he realized this wasn't a joke, he tried pulling his hand away. "Let go of us." He spat and narrowed his eyes. Despite the obvious height and weight difference, he could still pull his weight in a fight.

    Mari was about to say something else, when suddenly her hand was taken into one that wasn't familiar like Benjamin's. She froze up, quite weirded out at the male's sudden declaration, and snapped her hand back. Her second reflex was to clutch onto her boyfriend's arm.


    Truth be told, Benny always made her feel safe. She'd never told him, but she was sure he'd picked up on it by the way she always turned to him when she was scared. She was also glad that all he had to do was look at her to know that she wasn't playing an awful trick on him.


    //Sorry for the wait! Things got a little busy ^^'

    "Ah, sorry. The moment I saw you guys I just knew you were the ones." He moved in between them to sit in the centre of the bench. "I'm sorry if I shocked you," he said to each in turn, "please just give me a chance to explain. He smiled his brilliant, flashy smile and stared into the girls eyes, "I'm Alexius Staves, but call me Lex. This is probably weird to you but I think you guys are meant to be with me. We should go get coffee? Were you on a date what were you guys planning on doing." He asked energetically. He hadn't thought he would be one of the lucky ones who met their mates so young.

    Benjamin stared at the other male with a disturbed look. Is he... is he crazy? I hope he doesn't do anything too extreme. Benjamin was starting to get concern for Mari's and his safety. He shifted his eyes to his girlfriend, wondering how she was taking this man's behavior.


    He covered his hand with his hand and muttered under his breath, "do you think we should call someone? Like a hospital?" He had added the second part out of concern for the other male. As far as he could tell, the man was not threatening or looked all that dangerous. He seemed actually quite relaxed and... almost sane. He knew that if they called the police they might not be trained to handle those with mental issues. However, he would not rule out calling the police if the man turned violent. He slowly reached into his pocket to pull out his phone. Don't make it too noticeable.

    Mari glanced at her boyfriend, her eyes wide as she scooched to the far end of the bench. Who the heck was this guy?! Much like Benjamin, she felt that he didn't appear to be insane, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about him. Looking at him now, he appeared to be normal, so she couldn't quite place her finger on what made a shiver run up her spine.


    She sucked in a breath and decided to indulge the new male, Lex, so that her boyfriend could get a hold of someone. "Um, well, we were on a date," she began, looking at the male. "But, since you're here... Would you like to tell me a bit about yourself and why you think we're meant to be with you? I don't mean to pry, I'm just a little curious is all."

    "Oh certainly! It isn't prying I'll tell you everything about me." His hearing was very very good so he had heard what the guy had said. He couldn't blame his poor crush, it was very sudden. This was always a problem for werewolves, humans never seemed to feel the instantaneous connection that plagued his species. His pack had warned him about this kind of attraction with the mundane, his parents had been some of the lucky ones who fell in love with other werewolves. The marks had been very intimate, right now Lex could feel the overwhelming need to mark the two, a kiss would suffice. But with the distrust they were feeling Lex figured that any move to do that would get him thrown in jail.


    "I don't mean to sound crazy or anything, I'm aware that me excitability can be off putting. You see I'm not like most people, I've always known that when I saw who I was meant to be with I would know like that," he snapped his fingers. "As soon as I saw you two I just knew. What was it like when you first saw each other, just imagine that and magnify it by ten. Or maybe one hundred."


    //I was wondering if you guys had a plot for how the two find out Lex is a werewolf and also can he shift into a wolf form

    (That is up to you. I feel like a werewolf should be able to tell their mate(s) about their secret and "show" them. I think a werewolf should be able to transform into a regular wolf at any moment, but during a full moon they transform into the stereotypical, bipedal werewolf. Also, I wanted to ask you guys if werewolves should be "venomous"? It could only be during a full moon or something. Either way is fine with me.)


    Benjamin stopped typing on his cell phone and listened to what the other man was saying. The more he listened, the more Benjamin believed that he wasn't having a psychotic episode. However, what he was saying wasn't sane either. Ben's eyes looked the man over. Lex appeared lucid, but that didn't convince Benjamin. They obviously needed someone who could handle this sort of situation, but he wasn't sure if the local police or a hospital could do that. Perhaps his uncle, an actual therapist, could handle him. Maybe if we can keep him distracted... His fingers closing the webpage on his phone and he went to his contacts.


    "So, why do you think you're... um... in love with us?" He tried his best not to make a judgmental look. He then starting typing R-o-b-e-r-t G-o-l-d-s-t-e-i-n. He was actually pretty good at this, seeing as how he used to text during class underneath his desk (like many students). He only looked down to make sure and hit "Message" on his phone. It was a quick action and he made sure to look back up at the man. He hoped the man had not noticed the tiny action.

    Mari was trying her best to understand just how this man thought it was okay to say something like that. She'd never been more confused in her entire life, honestly. Instead of asking a series of her own questions, she let Benjamin take the lead and merely smiled. Her brain began to wander as she started nervously wringing her hands. She hoped Benny could tell that she was quite on edge about this whole ordeal.


    Her eyes subtly flicked down to his hands as she noticed him typing. Well, that was certainly a skill to admire. She never would've gotten away with texting in class like she knew her boyfriend had. In fact, Mari would have gotten caught straight away. She fiddled with her skirt and sucked on her bottom lip, a nervous habit she'd developed.


    //I think that's be a cool idea, but what do you mean by venomous? Could you elaborate on it a bit c:?

    Lex smiled at the man and affectionately bumped his shoulder. He shifted so he was more so facing the man then the girl. Lex was to excited at meeting the two to see Benjamin's typing. He giddily started to explain, "I'm not your average person you see, and when you guys finally understand you'll be shocked. I can't show you here though and I don't think you two would go anywhere private with me. I can't really explain how I know it anymore at the moment." He thought for a careful moment and his eyes lit up when the idea came to him. "It's like I'm Cinderella and you guys are Prince Charming. Love at first sight."


    "I know this is probably hard to swallow. I'm a bit excitable as you can see." He could smell the nerves coming from Mari and instantly felt a little bad. "I don't want to scare you guys off but please give me a chance. I know I don't seem normal, I've been told that more then once but believing that I just instantly fell in love with you won't hurt will it? Just give me a chance to show you what I really am?"


    He knew that one way werewolves got their mates was by showing their true forms. The shock of a mystical creature suddenly being real often allowed a wolf enough time to explain and mark their mate so that they could begin falling in love.


    //Is it so when they bite someone they poison the person? I like that idea if that's it

    Benjamin nearly jumped when the other man's shoulder gently bumped him. He leaned back and began to listen to the other man, attempting to look relaxed and not freaked out. He allowed the man to talk without interrupting him. If he spoke up it would only distract him from typing the message.


    "Love at first, not so sure I believe in that." He answered honestly and pressed the "Send" button on his phone, he then adjusted himself to face the other man more. "Listen, Lex. I'm going to be direct." He gave the man a warning glance.


    "I'm not sure if you're off or just playing a prank, but realize you're playing with something that is very intimate. What do you expect us to do when someone walks up to you and confesses their love for you?" He stared at the man, his body nearly on edge. After all, he didn't want to upset the other male, especially without knowing his mental status.
    (I meant venomous as in being able to make other into werewolves. I'm not sure if that's what you guys gathered from my question.)
