    ooc. hi guys! i'm looking for more active nurses, just state if you're interested and i'll consider you! at most I'll pick 3 new nurses, but most likely ill only pick 2!


    arcane knew why he had been so bored lately - he hadn't been training anybody. in anything. he really needed to change that, he hadn't seen his nurses lately and just...really needed some to train.


    the australian shepherd limped out, eyes shining. "herb training! i'll be picking nurses at this time, so if you're interested, then come! if you just want to watch, come!" he shouted, and limped in, getting his herbs ready. [fancypost=background:#COLORHERE;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

    "I'll be participating" Eli would hum as he made his way over, curious as to if he might have a chance at this. After all, there were many ideas of what his actions might be based off of his mother's actions. Of course the ideas were usually wrong, but that didn't completely keep others from still assuming things. It was just natural, even if it was rather horrible at times.

    Rosewater remembered her first herb training. She had joined RiverClan recently and hadn't had that much of an interest in herbs, but she had said she might be interested, and so Princess Hope had picked her to be one of the nurses, despite the fact that Rose knew next to nothing about herbs. Her second herb training, she had been promoted to Doctor- a position which she hadn't deserved, having still not mastered herbs. This, the herb training that Arcanepaw was hosting, was a third, and look at her now. A Head Doctor, alongside Arcanepaw.


    Hearing said canine's call, she would walk over, movements a bit more fluid than they had been the past few days. Her paw was healing nicely. Although she didn't need to learn anything at the herb training she figured that, due to her position, it wouldn't be correct for her to be there. She gave a nod to Elixir as she settled herself near Arcanepaw, knowing from experience that the young unicorn had quite the interest in herbs. Perhaps he would follow in his mother's footsteps- not in the way of betraying his clan and murdering people, but in the way of healing others.


    "I won't be participating, of course, but I can help if needed, Arcanepaw." She was pretty sure that he would be fine teaching stuff on his own, but she thought it wouldn't hurt to put it out there, and so did. With that, Rosewater would simply watch, waiting to see who else would appear. It was true that RiverClan really needed more active nurses, and she hoped others, beside Elixir, would show up.

Arcanepaw and Rosewater seemed to be doing good with keeping the team organized, at least in Ivy's eyes they were, and she couldn't wait to see if anyone would show great potential in the field of medicine. "I'll just watch," the fluffy pooch stated before taking a seat, prepared to supervise the session and watch curiously, maybe even try to guess who might make good candidates for the position.

    "so...this is it." he sighed, focusing on the small crowd. "not many people want to be medics, huh? which is actually good, shows that medicine training isn't for everyone." he chuckled, his tail flicking.


    "first question: what is marigold used for?" he said, making sure it was easy. he didn't want to daunt the crowd.[fancypost=background:#COLORHERE;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

    "Marigold keeps wounds from getting infected, right?" the unicorn would respond, a small snort escaping his nostrils as he breathed out after speaking. That was a fairly easy one, he had been told that by.. Kate he believed? Not Kate Marsh though, the one who hung out in Thunderclan a lot. If that was any way to give knowledge to someone anyways.

She always liked to hear how other medics taught things and how they explained how certain things worked. With perked ears, the serval made her way over beside Ivylee and sat down, quiet for the time being since she did not want to interrupt anyone else's answers.

    turning to elixir, he nodded, smiling with pride. he was about to ask where he had known that, only to remember that his mother was princess hope.


    "exactly." he said, then turned to kate, noting she was there.


    "alright, now this is sort of hard, but if you've seen me help give birth then you'll know this. what do you give to a birthing mother?"[fancypost=background:#COLORHERE;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

    "I mean, there isn't really room for me to watch births, seeing as i'm a big too big to fit into crowded spaces with lots of other people, but isn't borage one of the things? I mean, borage helps with milk, but I don't know if there's any other herbs you give. I also know to never give a birthing queen poppy seeds" the unicorn would respond to Arc after the other asked the question. Personally, he had never actually seen anyone give birth before, so he honestly just didn't know what you were supposed to do. He had heard that borage was common, and that sticks were also used to distract the queen from pain.

    "and finally, last question, this one is a hard one: what is one physical exercise to help a crippled patient?" he asked. he had gained inspiration from kate's injury, and wanted to see if the small crowd had known.[fancypost=background:#COLORHERE;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

"Hm. I... I think it depends on what kind of injury the patient has. Right?" she replies after Flower. If there was one that helped most crippling injuries, she was interesting in hearing what it was. She wanted to do everything she can to get better so she doesn't have to walk as slow anymore.

And she especially loved to meet young passionate people seeking out the medical field. She gives Flower a little wave of her tail before limping off, perhaps a bit more cheerful than before. Glad to have been able to attend.
