Yup. The festival had bunny pins. You know what that meant... Dozens of domesticated bunnies were all placed into pins for fellows that loved small, fuzzy animals to enjoy. They came in all types of colors with the usual long ears, big doe eyes and a twitching nose. The pins were devoid of food, but there was a table near by with bundles of lettuce, carrots and apple slices that says 'please feel free to feed the rabbits!' along with an adorable little heart symbol next to it. Yay. Bunnies.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]This was all a little cutesy for Gray, but he wanted to be there to support Liam. And... were there points for participating in Clan and ally events? He didn't know but he'd take them too if they were a thing. Huh, seems he was the first one to arrive, which left him standing awkwardly outside the pens. Should he just... pet them or something? It felt kind of weird.

  • Well to Chette they just looked like food, but they were cute. Padding up next to grey the Ragdoll gave him a smile, "Which one is your favorite?" She asked the racoon looking at all the different types of bunnies there were.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray looked over at Chette as she joined him, then he looked back at the bunnies. There was a pretty wide variety but at the end of the day they all just looked like bunnies to him. "Uh, can't say I have one. Do you?"

  • Staring down at the different rabbits the pointed female stuck out her brown paw at a Hotot, a very small rabbit with a black ring around its eye, it would be able to fit into a tea cup with ease. "That one is pretty cute." Planchette mewed grabbing a peace of lettuce and placing it down for the little guy to nibble on.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"Yeah." Gray agreed, partially wondering how he'd ended up here. Ugh, Vulpes would give him so much shit if he appeared. "Shouldn't you be training? How is this preparation for fighting hellhounds". It'd be annoying but Gray would just laugh thanks to the squeaky voice.

SWING AND MISS, YOU'RE THROUGH. – malkyn macabre rhodes.
YOU'RE OUT OF THE LOOP, WE'RE GONNA BURY YOU ALIVE.

The hound saw the rabbits as food, caged and weak. And it takes every ounce of self-control not to tear the cages open. It reminds of her birds her and Finn gathered for the Clan, only for someone to set them free- assuming the hounds would eat them. Malkyn had reacted as one would- pushing off the ground and snapping her jaws around the panicking birds trying to fly away, much like a crocodile. And she wouldn't hesitate to do it again if someone decided to make.. assumptions, not that right now even called for that. She glances over the rabbits again and then her gaze lands on Liam. "How'd you catch them?"

    HIS SOLITUDE WAS A KNIFE — standpaw — the rift — he/him — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Like Gray's roleplayer had best put it, "this was all a little cutesy for Gray" as well as Standpaw. Not to mention a big inhumane to him as well... He shrugged the thought off moments later, recalling how the typical meat industry handled animals before their slaughter. This was absolutely nothing when compared to that- just a little harmless fun. So the tom just regarded it all with bored eyes and a disinterested sigh.

For the time being, the Gladiator padded up to the table full of fresh fruit and vegetables- plucking up an apple slice before making his way over to a pen. His eyes glossed over the caged bunnies briefly before quickly coming to settle on a plain, brown little thing. A bit chubby, didn't look like he needed the extra apple slice, but Standpaw found himself putting it down before the little dude despite that. He tried to suppress an affectionate little smile as he watched the bunny nibble away on the fruit, hating to admit to himself how much he was enjoying this stupid shit. He felt like he was five again- or, a kit again, in this case.

    OPERATION NO CONTROL — alex — the rift — she/her — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Were those bunnies? With a embarrassing squeak, she quickly took some carrots and started to feed them, every once in a while giggling at something they did. "They're all so adorable! Look, that one just hopped over two of the others!" Though she adored all of them, her favorite had to be the small Havana in the corner, smiling as it looked at her with those black eyes. "Don't tell anybody, but you're the prettiest one here."

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray's gaze slid over to Alex as she addressed the Havana. "I'm pretty sure if it understood you, they all did." He drawled, turning to go. He'd seen the bunnies, shy of petting and feeding them what more was there to do?

So. He had been asked a question. The question was quickly ignored in favor of having a conversation. Well, the question was not that important now, was it? Non important questions did not deserve answers. Liam simply sat up from his spot and hopped over the small fence and into the pin. A small smile spread across his muzzle as he pulled one of the domesticated rabbits into his lap. He let it sniff his paws before he kneaded at its soft, squishy body. How did he capture the rabbits? Very carefully.
