    Titan was in the cave, reading under the light of a lantern peacefully. Nothing seemed abnormal about it, right? Wrong. The male was having a mental freak-out, though he tried to remain calm around his clanmates. Nobody knew yet, but he supposed that they'd know in time. The book that he was reading was visible to anyone who came close enough to observe the title: "FIRST-TIME PARENTING". Titan was horrified. What if he dropped one of his kids on their heads? What if they turned out bad? All of the possibilities swirled in his mind and only made the frown on his face more apparent.

Her mother hadn't exactly been a good role model, what with her telling Rosewater to shove people aside to get where she wanted to be and saying that the world was a cruel, unforgiving place. Rose wasn't sure how she would even react to children, but luckily she was far away from motherhood. Titan, on the other hand, was about to become a father. The albino lifeguard hadn't meant to stumble upon Titan's cave, having been taking a quick walk around the cave system. She was finally trying to rest her ankle, taking shorter walks than usual.


    It was then that she noticed Titan was sitting nearby. It took a moment for Rosewater to process this, along with what Titan was doing. He was reading a book. The feline's pale gaze darted over the cover of the book, noting the title. What? Why the hell is Titan reading that? That was the first thought that popped into her head, and then her eyes widened, words popping out of her mouth before she could stop them. "Hey, Titan! Are you and Himiko having kids?" It wasn't a very smooth greeting but it was the first thing that went into her mind, and thus the first thing out of her mouth.


    She took a step back, a look of faint embarrassment appearing on her face. "I mean, uh, congratulations." Rose sincerely hoped that it was Titan and Himiko having children, not Titan and some random person, because it would be really awkward otherwise, since Rosewater had just asked if he and Himiko were having kids. She hadn't really tracked their relationship, although she knew that they were together now.

    "Judging by what he's been up to as of late, I see no reason why it shouldn't be so" Eli would respond calmly to Rosewater as he trotted to stand near her. Honestly, it wasn't too much of a surprise anyways, seeing as the two snow leopards did happen to be a couple. He was a bit curious when Himiko was due, although he would undoubtably find out when it happened.

    "Oh, well, parenthood will not be a walk in the park." Croc said with a shrug. "You probably already know that though. I'm sure you'll be a great dad, too!" He said with a wide grin, looking at the book he held with an amused spark of his slitted eyes. Oh geez, this was priceless. A man freaking out over the prospect of his yet to be born children.

    arcanepaw himself had two adopted children, and was a mentor to many, so to him that was kind of like parenting. the australian shepherd quickly hoped over, his tail swishing.

    Kids? Titan was having kids? That sounded amazing! Kilio didn't really know anything about the difficulty of caring for children, the idea didn't even cross the cub's mind. Really the first thing that went through his head at the idea of kids was the chance to have some little kids to look up to him for being a big and strong and brave apprentice. He could take the little ones on their own adventures and teach them all about the trials and tribulations of a true adventurer; he couldn't wait for the snow leopard cubs to arrive!


    He hopped up to Titan, pawing at the much larger leopard's shoulder. "Hey when your kids get here can I teach them battle moves and stuff? Can I?" The idea of a bunch of younger friends looking up to him in awe as he showed them things adults weren't normally impressed with pleased him greatly. He would feel like the center of attention all the time! and he would get to pass on his amazing knowledge.

    Titan looked up as Rosewater, Elixir, Crocodilepaw, and Arcanepaw showed up. He flicked a rounded ear back in embarrassment, slowly closing the book. "Er, thanks.. uh..." His deep voice was trailing in hesitance. He avoided their gazes before meeting them again with his green optics. "I'm just kind of clueless." This truly was a big deal for him. Hell, not not even a year ago he was an apprentice, and now he was going to be a father? It's what Himiko wanted, though, and he wanted to make her happy.


    He looked at Kilio as he started prodding his shoulder, and he flinched a little in surprise, but he ended up grinning nervously. The mention of his future cubs made his stomach surge with butterflies. "You'll be teaching them?" Titan smirked. "Have you even mastered them yourself?"
    Speaking of mastering and training... Titan's features slightly fell, as if a shadow had descended over them. He would have to do some training tonight; he was close to completing it. He would have to try and stay focused while raising his cubs, which would be a challenge.
