    CAUGHT IN A DAYDREAM — alice — windclan — she/her — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Though she had spent time carefully considering what her advisor specialty would be, the young lioness wasn't exactly sure. There wasn't anything she was particularly skilled at, for one thing - and secondly, she didn't have the full list of options. She figured going straight to Henry was the best idea; perhaps he could help her narrow down the options. "Henry?" Alice called, seated outside the leader's chalet. "I, um, came about my advisor specialty?"

Henry would approach April with a warm smile. The little cervid would settle down, looking towards the lion in interest. "Of course. Do you have anything in mind?" He would inquire, tilting his head slightly as he spoke.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Alice nodded politely in greeting, before hastily shaking her head. "No... well, not really. I was hoping you could tell me what kinds of specialties are available," she added hopefully. Perhaps she should have searched for records of some kind in the library with lists of previous advisors - though she wasn't sure if such a thing existed.

Henry would be quick to nod as she spoke, hoping she didn't feel uncomfortable asking. He knew most advisers weren't entirely sure of what they wanted their specialty to be right away so it was certainly understandable. "Well, you can essentially create any adviser position you'd like but in the past we've had advisers for diplomacy, which handled anything to do with alliances. This was anything from accepting invitation, running an ambassador program, or running a weekly gift program, it'd depend on what they preferred. We've also had an adviser handle events specifically. This could be gathering ideas for events, coming up with ideas themselves, hosting events, and so on. We've had advisers over war, which handled anything to do with enemies. Those are all the positions I can think of that we don't currently have but you can also feel free to create one that I haven't mentioned if you have anything in mind," He'd answer.

    CAUGHT IN A DAYDREAM — alice — windclan — she/her — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Alice mused over the examples Henry offered, while chewing her lip absent-mindedly. Warfare sounded like a bit too much for her too handle - it likely consisted of holding raids and building up defenses and the like - that as a child, was quite intimidating. Events sounded fun, but to consistently deliver fresh ideas to the clan, and have the great confidence to then host them, sounded a bit challenging. Diplomacy seemed right up her alley - simple enough. Dealing with allies and the weekly baskets, she had no problems with; and with permission and that extra bit of inspiration, she could occasionally hold some events with their allies. "I think being an advisor of diplomacy is right for me," the child noted aloud, nodding in confirmation.

//ooc, should i keep the current weekly basket sign-ups running, make my own thread so i can keep it updated, or would i be the one to host them every week? i don't mind doing any of the options, i'm just not sure which one? i think somebody signed up for them this week, and i'd rather stick to weekly baskets than switch to an ambassador program, if that's alright

"That sounds like it'd be good for you, Alice. Thank you very much," He would approve with a nod and a gentle smile.

//I'm fine with whatever would be best for you! I'd recommend either making a new one or just hosting them yourself each week because it'd be easier for you to keep track of with those two options than keeping the current one.
