Cassie instead shoved her hands in the pockets of her hoodie, leaving her hood down as she gave a small sigh before proceeding down the side walk.

(Want to do a small time skip? I would imagine that it would take some time for Cassie to get past what she saw and get enough courage to ask him out. I mean, if that's how you want it)
The male grumbled under his breath as he walked with his head down as he looks through the many pictures.
-
Yeah ^^

Maybe after a month passes, Skye found a connection that could lead to the culprit. However that is being put on the back burner for now as he received a call from Cassie. "Hello?" He chirped, holding the phone between his ear and shoulder as he looks through a few things.
-
Cassie had gotten over the seeing a dead body after awhile, as she instead stood outside somewhere with a smile as she held her phone up to her ear, smiling as she heard Skye's voice pick up. "Hey!" She greeted in response at first, voice just as bubbly.
-
He blinks as he heard the blond from before sounding much cheerier. "Is this Cassie? The woman I talked to about a month ago right?"
-
"It is, yeah." She'd respond, though it was still something that would definitely haunt her, she'd gotten over it for the most part.
-
He hums, freeing up his hands so he doesn't have to balance the phone anymore. "So what up?"
-
"I was just..." Cassie started, taking a moment's pause before she continued. "Wondering if you were free at all... Later?"
-
"Sure, I was about to take the rest of the afternoon off for the day so I'm up for some early dinner." He replied, cleaning up after himself as he spoke.
-
"Ah, really?" Cassie would question at first, before she would continue. "You should let me treat you to something, then." She stated.
-
"Sounds good to me. Where would you like me to meet you? And how soon?" He asked with a hum.
-
It didn't take long for Cassie to speak up that the two meet up near the cafe from before, considering the place she would want to take him was near there. "How does in an hour or so sound...?"
-
"That works for me Cassie. I'll see you then." He said with a smile she couldn't see as Skye made his way out of the police station and back towards his apartment to change into something slightly more casual.
-
"See you!" Cassie chirped in return before instead hanging up as she wore her own smile.
Noir had just gotten back to the apartment - a month and she'd had no luck, usually she would have moved on, but she hadn't.
-
As he acended the stairs, Skye was whistling a happy tune. While most attempts of romantic relationships didn't really interest him, it's nice to go out on a date or two once in a while. Maybe someday he'll do more than just an occasional date fling.
-
//bringing Cassie back in once the two meet up!
Noir turned her key, hearing the usual 'click' as her apartment was unlocked. Though she stopped as the whistle filled her ears, causing her to stop as she slightly twisted the door knob.
-
(No problem)
Upon seeing the pinkette, the tall man waves in greeting as he continues to whistle. Skye unlocks the door to his own apartment and opens the door.
-
Noir could seem almost surprised by his happy demeanor, as she didn't give her own wave in greeting until after a moment or two.
-
"How was you day?" He asked, glancing at his neighbor. Never hurts to make small talk before he were to clean up for the date.
