  • "No, you said that. I said three jobs and than you can go for a drink." She was surprised he had ever needed more than one demon following him. He was hardly difficult to deal with, but than again most demons didn't carry holy water with them to threaten people into doing their jobs.

  • "Screw that. Granny is far away from here. And call me an alcoholic if you'd like, but I need my drink." He stated like it was a fact. He placed his hand against the wall of the elevator and it cracked the slightest bit, warning that if she tried to grab the holy water, he was gonna blow a hole through the wall.

  • She looked at his hand and let out a sigh. "How about this, since you like to fight so much. We can go out and fight if I win you have to go to do what I say for the rest of the day. If you win we go to the bar for an hour."

  • He narrowed his eye at her and drew back his arm to cross them. "Add a rule about no holy water and we have a deal." He stated. He was completely up for a fight, it'd really help his destress, but he wasn't up for being burned by the water.

  • "Oh course, that wouldn't be a fair fight." She said as she walked out of the building, "we should probably go somewhere, where theres a nice open space to fight."

  • Ryder followed her out at his own pace. And while he didn't show it, he was starting to bubble with excitement at the prospect of a fight. "I know where to go." He told her taking the lead, though he bounded onto the top of a fence like it was a balancing act. This was probably one of the only tells that he was getting excited.

  • And once again he got an eye roll from her. "You have got to be one of the easiest demons to get to work so far." She mumbled more to herself than to him. Most demons would have tried to kill her multiple times by now.

  • She got no response from him other than a hum. The meaning wasn't exactly clear, but it wasn't angry. There were reasons he's had many workers after him. And especially with this fight coming up, he had no plans to lose. The buildings her becoming more and more scarce as they traveled and he was leading the way towards empty farmland.

  • She took the holy water out of her pocket and set it on a stone to be later retrieved. She than placed a bag of salt next to it. It wasn't something that could give her an advantage in battle, but she didn't need to be carrying it on her either way. She hadn't dealt with a low level demon in a long time. Especially since they mostly remained in hell.
