Lilith pulled the holy water back out from her pocket. She opened it up dipping her fingers in. Her pale skin immediately reacted turning red however she seemed unphased. She than flicked the water off her fingers at his face. "Get to work," she hissed.

The droplets hissed against the skin it hit, though he moved quick enough to avoid quite a bit of the holy water. He flinched, the damaged skin turned red and it felt like it was on fire, but the pain was bearable in the small quantity that had hit. He was already blind in one eye, he didn't need another. He reluctantly approached the human at an agonizingly slow pace, not bothering to listen to the pleas. He easily passed the salt ring and with a little more force than necessary, his palm was planted firmly against the man's skull, branding an odd pattern there as a blue light was torn from the body.
-
Lilith smiled at him, "that wasn't so hard now was it? Now let's go the other person is actually in this building. They want to make a deal." She informed him as she put the holy water. She was sure she wouldn't need it again for a little while.
-
He didn't reply. He knew the next job was near and he had already decided, without the female demon's consent, that he was going to a bar after this. She could wait for him after that. the holy water had put him in a incredibly difficult mood. One that had often caused those assigned to him to lose their job. He made his way back in the elevator with a glowering look.
-
"Don't look so sad, after one more job you can go to the bar. Than we need to do 4 more jobs if you want to be able to catch up. If you catch up within the week I'll be able to leave."
-
He glanced over at her. He was obviously pouting. The more work he does, the faster it's given, which is one of the things he hates. "You realize that you'll probably be sent back, right?" He questioned, leaning against the wall.
-
"I haven't been in hell in years. After I finish with one of you I'm always sent to the next. It would actually be nice to go back." She responded watching the numbers on the elevator slowly move down.
-
"Why? It's an awful place. It's well...it's hell." The elevator was coming to a stop as he asked the question. The slight pain from the water earlier had settled, so his mood had simmered down, though that didn't mean he wasn't still bitter.
-
"But you must admit it is still home for us demons. That and I want to see what has changed over the years." She hadn't been there in about three years and each month something had to be changed. Usually because of the technology in the world above was used for new torture.
-
"I attend the meetings every month." He mentioned, not that he had a choice with going to those, all the upper-level demons needed to go, punishments were very severe. "I don't know if you heard, but a lot of what is changing is construction from the attack last year." Quite a few top-class monsters had appeared at once and destroyed many of the buildings. Repairs are still being made.
-
"Oh, yes. I heard of that, but I wasn't sure if it was true... I guess all the built up hatred in hell finally attracted something other than demons." She looked around the office noticing a woman looking at them from her cubical. "That must be her."
-
"It was a drag. I was called in to fight those things and I had to work in a team." His voice briefly sounded annoyed as he thought of it. He was not a team player in the least. But he did turn back to attention when he noticed the girl. She looked surprised, probably didn't expect two demons. Or maybe she didn't even expect her summoning to work.
-
She looked down at the notes. The woman was unable to have children and she wanted to negotiate for that, "these people really shouldn't go to demons for this..." She never understood why humans were so desperate to carry on their genes, but it was good for hell!
-
The boy ran his hand through his hair with an exasperated sigh and walked towards the human, in mostly the same intimidating way he approached the previous one. She did seem scared. He had a vague idea of what she wanted as he glanced at the other's notes when he passed. Something about children or whatever. "Alright, before anything, we have to discuss price..." He mentioned, beginning his job.
-
The woman was clearly awkward about it. She hadn't expected there to be a price. "... What if... What if I have twins and I give you one twin?" She asked. She just assumed they had the power to make her have twisn.
-
Hearing this the demon grinned, "the first-born child can always be a payment. Of course, that child will be subject to quite a bit of horrors in hell until it naturally turns into a demon. You could also offer your soul, though then you won't be able to feel anything. You could also give up the thing that's most precious to you, we accept humans and pets as well."
-
The woman clearly didn't want to see her soul, "what about..." She thought for a moment, "my grandma is... In the hospital you could take her..."
-
Once the decision was made, the demon took the girl's hand and left a light kiss onto her hand, the mark of the deal appearing onto her hand like a brand. Something only a demon could see. "Done and done." He stated with a bow, turning back to the elevator.
-
Lilith pressed the button on the elevator to take them down, "getting the grandma will count as your third job and you can go to the bar." She told him. She took out the note book once again, but this time to begin filing a report on the progress they've made.
-
He groaned at that. He already kinda knew that this was gonna happen, considering he was almost always assigned to follow up on the deals he makes, but still it was annoying. "I thought you said I could go to the bar after making this deal?" He complained. Oh how he would love to be drinking instead.
