  • "Only the fighting part is amusing to you? It's usually the opposite." She looked at her notes following the map that had been drawn into it by someone back down in hell. "It's pretty far from here. Do you need me to keep holding your hand or can you walk on your own like a big boy?"

  • "I'm a demon of destruction. What isn't fun about fighting?" He questioned with a slight smirk. He did really enjoy fighting, though it ticked him off when someone couldn't actually put up a fight. "I don't know. I quite like your hand, I might try to run if you let go."

  • She chose to ignore the last part. "Fighting a human isn't fun, especially if they made a deal, they are weak. At least that's what I've been told." She hadn't faught a lot in her life and when she did it was only with other demons.

  • "Fighting humans is fun! They are extremely weak, to be honest, I don't know how they've survived this long. But they always try something new, and it's nice to see how fast the hope leaves their eyes when they can't even damage you." He was grinning as he explained his joy. He had many scars from fighting, though almost none were left by a human, the most noticeable at the moment would be the ones on his face, the two one the left side that blinded that eye.

  • She gave him a shrug in response. She didn't find the suffering of humans to be as amusing as other demons. Hence why she had this job instead of working with humans. She'd much rather annoying other demons than humans.

  • Noticing that she didn't share his enthusiasm, he clicked his tongue to show his annoyance. "Ever thing about going out to get a drink? It might help you loosen up." He stated, wondering why he had to get her to "help" his get to work.

  • "I am not allowed to drink, if I'm not the first demon to follow you, you should know that. It would be counter productive." She looked down at the map once more. She smiled as they were almost there and she would be able to make her first report on him.

  • The red-haired demon shrugged. "I'm not allowed to drink either, do you think I care? We're demons, we break the rules." It was a simple statement, though it would probably piss off a lot of hardworking demons. Ryder had been around for awhile now, it was part of the reason he was so slack.

  • "Actually you are, but that would only be if you weren't working." Though saying that when they were working they were supposed to go back down to hell where there was no alcohol. "And breaking the rules for me would be a much bigger punishment than for you. I am supposed to keep other demons in line if I can't keep in line... I would be replaced." She had been a replacement for a demon who was killed because he decided to stay on earth longer than he was supposed too.

  • "You realize how often I'm supposed to be working, right? And you can only get in trouble if your caught, or someone actually tells the higher-ups." He told her, removing her from his arm so he could in turn put it around her. "I obviously wouldn't be telling, considering I hate talking to them. Come on, have a drink with me sometime. I wanna see if you'r just as up-tight as when you're drunk. You're probably a lightweight, right?" He questioned with a slightly mischievous look.

  • "I don't think any demon is a lightweight." She responded as she pulled his hand off of her. She looked down at the map than up at the building in front of them, "we are here." She told him as she put her little note book away.

  • "But I bet you'd get drunk faster~" At her next words though, he did shift his attention to the building with a bored look. "You know, I followed you, but I never did say that I'd do my job when we got here." He mentioned, glancing over at her.

  • "Well, than..." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small bottle filled with holy water. It wasn't enough holy water to kill him especially since he was a stronger demon, but it sure would hurt.

  • He took one look a the bottle and growled lowly. He wasn't an idiot. He knew what it was immediately. He didn't doubt that the guy inside had some too, but at least he had a higher chance of dodging it with a human. Running a hand through his hair, the horned demon was sighing again. "It's dangerous to carry something like that. I like dangerous girls." He flirted as he made his way to the door of the building.

  • He got another eye roll from her. She followed him inside the building still holding the bottle in her hand just in case. She pulled her notebook out with her other hand and looked at the name of the person. Since they were in an office she imagined he had made a deal to own the business and become rich.

  • Since this was his job, Ryder easily knew where the target was as soon as he was in the building. He thought of just bursting through the floors in order to end this quicker, but figured Lilith probably wouldn't appreciate that. He ignored the other humans and made his way to the elevator, like a normal person.

  • Lilith followed him into the elevator. She set the holy water back into her pocket only to be able to flip her book the the next page where new words appeared telling him of his next mission. "If you can finish three I will let you go back to the bar for..." She thought about how long was reasonable to help him catch up on his already behind work, "I'd say 10-15 minutes depending on how well you do your job."

  • He pressed the button for the top floor and sat back with his arms crossed. "Two jobs and thirty minutes at the bar and I'll consider not giving you any trouble for the next one." The was his offer and he had a defiant look on his face. He wasn't always gonna be this easy to negotiate something, so he figured she might wanna just take this. But if she refused, she might be up for a small challenge with the male demon.

  • "How about 7 jobs, 5 minutes at the bar and I don't throw the holy water in your face?" She asked in a way like what he had said was just as bad as what she said. She was actually very insulted by him trying to threaten her with causing her trouble. That's what her job basically was dealing with other demons trouble.

  • He glared at her with narrow eyes. "Throw the holy water and no one gets their job done." He threatened with a cold angry voice. Though at that moment the elevator dinged and the doors opened. Right into the office of the boss. A man who was currently huddled in a corner surrounded by a white line of salt. Ryder made no move off the elevator, instead he stared at Lilith, waiting for her move. The man in the corner had screamed when he saw the demons.
