So little Witchkit loved exploring the big, bright world that was Blizzardclan camp. He wasn't allowed outside the camp yet, but he just liked stumbling around, getting into people's business, and generally getting into childish mischief that was common for such a young little kitten as he. In his jaws was a plump fish, and he waddled around camp, trying to look for something to do that would get him into trouble.

It was an amusing sight, and he couldn't keep a grin from stretching across his features, crinkling the corners of his eyes. Witchkit might have only recently been allowed out of the nursery, but he seemed to be making the most of his time. Rising, the black serval headed toward the kitten, calling out a friendly, "Witchkit! Hello." Pausing, he joked, "Don't tell me you're going to eat that all yourself."

"You are," he agreed readily. "But I think that's twice as big as you." An exaggeration, of course, but in Nathaniel's experience, child tended to enjoy pointing out the silliness of such as exaggerations. Falling into place besides the youth, he asked, "Did you catch that yourself?"

Witchkit looked up at Nate, purple eyes wide. Sure, it was huge, but Witch could... probably eat it, he thought. He needed his meat, he was getting bigger every day.

"No, I can't yet. I'm not big enough. But when I get big enough, I'm going to catch all the fish! And eat them, too!" He said, sticking out his tongue at Nate.

Such behavior was common in children, but it was still unseemly. Perhaps it wasn't Nate's job to teach Witchkit manners, but why waste an opportunity to educate the youth? Putting aside the issue for a moment, he agreed, "Sure you will. When you're done eating, do you want to go down to the lake with me to look for fish?"
