The Refuge
The Refuge is one of many cat (loner) clans created after the apocalypse. These clans each fight for their own survival but they share resources and know that their survival depends on each other. They are enemies, usually, but come together each moon to discuss things such as law breakers, food supply and if a certain cat deserves to be put to death for their crimes. The leaders of the survivor groups act as a council, but in the end, the final word is determined by the Sovereign.
|Threat|
A dangerous plague has swept across the city, killing the human life in it, however, not killing of the animal life instead, infecting certain prey and predators. The sickness makes the animals rabid, a swift and sharp claw across the neck should kill the attacker, but one must be sure not to eat, or be bitten by a rabid, or they will suffer the same fate.

Each clan serves a specific purpose
The Port
A loner clan residing off the coast, the disease has not effected the fish and water off the coast, The Port supplies the food. Referred to as "Coasters"
The Ascended
Residing in the main city, this loner clan lives on the roofs of buildings and scale the city, checking for threats and seeing the control level, this clan usually is the one to wipe out potential rabid herds. Referred to as "Scalers"
The Abyss
The loner clan which resides under ground, the tinkers of the 4 clans, they create protective gear and claw extensions for the 4 clans, they are usually left alone and out of conflict because of their importance, and because their base is underground, hidden. Referred to as "Buried"
The Refuge
Residing in the red wood forest, this is a clan located away from the main city, between The Port and The Ascend, The Refuge provides the herbs and medicine for each of the 4 clans and they are currently trying to work on a cure for the rabid. They are known as "Remedists"
The Salvation
This is a loner group, that is not really considered a clan, its made up of very few cats who have developed and immunity to the rabid, this is where the Sovereign resides. It is located inside an old two legged jail, the place is well protected it is also where the meetings are held every moon. Referred to as Salvationists

Rules:
1. Any LONER cat caught trespassing may be kept as prisoner until further notice.
2. Any CLAN cat caught trespassing may be questioned as needed.
3. All political movements must be brought before the Sovereign.
4. Each clan has a say, but in the end the Sovereigns word is law.
5. Any cat that is infected by either bite from a rabid or consumption from a rabid will be executed after 3 days, unless that are a Salvationist, in which case, the rabid will not spread and they will be moved to the Safe Haven.
6. In certain disputes, a battle will be allowed instead of a Sovereigns decision.
7. Stealing is punishable by death.
