  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:490px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:white;]Chastiefol opened his eyes, dulled pale powdered blue eyes flaring slightly as he took in the scenery surrounding him through a glazed gaze. knew that it was bad of him to do this constantly but lacklustre outlook that he held on life spoke volumes in regards to his various life choices. He had regrets. Because of the way that he lived and the way that he acted, he had already lost so much that he had regarded to highly to him. Family and those that he cared about. Blueridge, Kunta, Strawberry. Elaine. They were gone, whispers in the wind as the breeze whistled through his fur, endlessly taunting him for his stupid actions. In a way, ever even getting close to them was his biggest regret because who was he to have responsibility? He was far to aloof and laid back for maintenance but he still found himself hung up on the pain of losing with his loved ones.

He found happiness in his misery however. He could move on as long as he forced himself to do so and it seemed that the most plausible option, no the only possible option, for him to take was to travel. To leave the places where he felt his heart start to ache. He could not face it because he had no one to face and he did not fancy getting angry or upset at something that he could no longer converse with. Instead, he would run, or well, a better word that run to describe his retreat would be float.

That would be his explanation, his excuse, for being so distant. He could not reforge relationships because he was a coward deep down and he knew it. He was afraid of it really. He was afraid of getting close before crushing expectations and becoming a false representation of someone's ideal friend. He would either want to be perfect to another or stay away from them. There was no in between right now for him. He could not deal with disappointment, both from him and being given to him.

The beach town full of it's vibrancy and no doubt its love had caught his attention a while off when he had spied it in the distance. He paused, lowering himself so that he was a bit closer to the ground in case there were any unfavourable beings nearby that would not take kindly to a floating felidae. This area had been the last place that the male had expected to find himself in but it brought some degree of joy to him nonetheless. After all, it was a beautiful, exotic place. Much like his own birth place. That was something that he did not wish to think about however and he was quick to suppress any surfacing memories that threatened to spill over and ruin this long, eternal vacation that he had embarked on. The tropical mountain range that he found himself nearing was a beautiful region and he was already convinced that he'd fuck something up here. The dark navy russian blue feline's lip curled up slightly and he looked away, the pillow he was sprawled on continued to move as he took a very brief moment to compose himself. He could not think so negatively when he was doing what he had decided was the best for himself. He had come to the conclusion that this was what he needed to do. He had upped and left and he now had to put up with the consequences.

He turned his gaze skywards, taking note of the orange sorbet sky sprawled out about him, the rich tones melting into a pale blue that rivalled his own. At least he had arrived here by morning. That was a relief. Chastiefol came to a halt, lifting himself up slightly on his pillow as he glanced around, still bobbing in the air before he decided that clear attentiveness was too much of a challenge and he flopped back down on the green leopard print fabric, chin resting on the edge as he hugged his front legs around the material. Someone would come along soon, probably on some sort of morning walk. He would just wait until then, he guessed. He was patient when it came to things like this anyway. He could wait all day.

    not in the words — theo — sunclan/skyclan — he/his/him — tags

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt; line-height: 115%][ yeah there's no way i'm matching that ]

theo wasn't on a morning walk as much as he was on a morning sprint. it had been so long since he'd last been in his beloved home and he wanted to make sure everyone was absolutely how he left it, or better. mainly he wanted to make sure he hadn't missed anything major that had happened to the territory. that and he was a bit hungry. he could always take from the stored food but it didn't feel right to do so just yet. he had only just gotten active in sunclan again and taking food without contributing just seemed rude.

the fluffy white dog would slow to a walk as he approached the border. something smelled different. perhaps it was one of his new clanmates he had missed during his little adventure. it wouldn't surprise him if a good number of the members here were unfamiliar to him. with his ears pricked towards the border, the sunclanner would make his way towards the prominent scentline to investigate. maybe someone had just come by and marked it, or (even better) there was a joiner out there! that would be great, wouldn't it? it was always nice to meet someone new, especially if they wanted to live here too.

coming up to the border, the samoyed would find himself face to face with a russian blue sitting on a pillow. that was a bit odd but he didn't judge, they probably didn't want to be dirty for whatever it was they were doing here. "hi there! is there something i can help you with?"

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:white;]//that's perfectly fine! i just have quite a lot of muse for my characters in general at the moment so don't feel like you need to try to match anything that i do <3

"Ohayō gozaimasu" the male hummed, not opening his eyes at first to look at the unfamiliar voice that had shattered the peace that had befallen around him. He levitated there in the air for a few moments, enjoying the seconds of silence in which he was able to bob up and down on top of the large pillow before he decided to not keep the other male waiting for too long. Although he was quite lazy when it came to things, he knew that others could be very touchy when it came to being made to wait. Impatience really pissed him off but it was natural for most he guessed. He adjusted his positioning on the pillow, pulling himself up slightly so that he could see the canine a little better. His front paws were still firmly wrapped around the pillow as he did so however his head was now raised a bit, cheek resting against the green, leopard print material as he gazed through his half-lidded pale powdered blue eyes at the stranger before him.

"I am Chastiefol." he hummed, pulling his paw up to rub slightly at his face as he decided to at least try to make himself seem somewhat presentable to the being before him. The dark russian blue feline sat up properly now, the pillow moving to adapt to the position that he was shifting into and he was now sitting upright, the large cushion slanted slightly, proving to be a good perch for the young male as he peered down at the fluffy white canine before him. He kept his focus sternly fixed on the stranger before he allowed his attention to waver, gaze drifting up to the exotic landscape sprawling out beyond the kind samoyed that had arrived to greet him first. No, he could not begin to label others with adjectives. Especially not positive adjectives. He was quick to convince himself that this being was just being nice for their own gain and lapsed back into a more bitter state as he cast his half-lidded gazed back onto the dog he was hovering before.

"I am here to join. This is Sunclan, right?" the feline inquired after stating his reason for lounging around in an almost disrespectful manner on the border of this tropical territory. But he would never intentionally try to disrespect others. He intended on being aloof and distant. He had not come here with the intentions of flaunting any form of arrogance and a lack of courtesy. He was detached but he was not an asshole. Well, that was something that some would argue against but then again, he only fitted that description when others did things to deserve his harsh rudeness. He flashed the stranger a small yet warm little smile to compensate for any rough edges that he may have shown. They were going to decide whether he was fit to live with them so he could not be entirely sharp. If he was them, he would not let himself join but that was because he knew how much of a faliure he was. It was nothing personal to himself, he just hated what he had done so far. Hence him being here, running away from what he had caused.

    [ ohayō gozaimasu = good morning ]

    not in the words — theo — sunclan/skyclan — he/his/him — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt; line-height: 115%]the dog's head would cock to the side at the greeting. the more angelic part of his mind supplied 'good morning' but theo failed to pay any attention to it. why would he? there was a floating cat in front of him. floating! i wish i could float. unfortunately, theo could not float. maybe one day he'd wake up with wings again but for now he was perfectly content with having all four paws on the ground. there was so much more to smell down here anyways, more animals to meet, friends to make.

"it's nice to meet ya, chastifol!"theo yips out as the wagging of his tail intensifies. so the cat was friendly! for a moment he thought they might be a bit rude but so far so good! hearing their desire to join, the young canine's grin would grow impossibly larger. "really? that's great! welcome! i really hope you enjoy it here! if you need anything you can always ask me! do you need anything now? letting help getting back to camp?"the word vomit came out before the child could contain themselves. it was their first joiner since returning, he couldn't help it!

excitement shines through the samoyed's dark brown eyes as he waits for a reply. so he might be a disappointed if they turned down his offer but that was okay. some creatures needed to figure things out themselves.

Now, a floating feline on a pillow certainly isn't the weirdest thing he's ever seen, but it is a little odd. Only enough for the canine to give a curious glance to the feline in question. Not that he doesn't look a little bit odd himself, wings flopped uselessly beside him and water dripping off him. He hasn't dried off from the most recent unfortunate incident, one which involved sea water and the aforementioned wings.
"Uh ... Yes, this is Sunclan." Dean confirms what Theo didn't, at least directly, as he approaches, shaking out his wings for a moment before re-folding them awkwardly. The salt in-between his feathers made it awfully uncomfortable, but it's ... also kind of his own fault. Ugh. "Welcome, then. The name's Dean, or Karma. Whichever suits your fancy." One of these days, somebody was going to think he was insane for introducing himself with two names. Hell, he's thought that of himself quite a few times, so it's not a big deal.

This one liked to talk a lot. They had not introduced themselves to him yet but he still felt an ache forming in his chest as he observed the way that the spoke and acted. It was similar to Strawberry. She had been such a bright, friendly child, much like the samoyed stood before him. They were remarkably similar but he would have to say that his adoptive sibling had been much more stubborn and fiery. Yet the inquisitive innocent seemed to run through through both his beloved younger relative and this fluffy ball of canine. He flicked his ear, a smile that reflected his internal giddy fondness etching its way onto his delicate lips as his mind began to wander from its chain. He was quick to catch himself though and drew his mouth back into a straight line, leaning back slightly into his pillow to disguise and alterations in his demeanor. "Um, right. It's nice to meet you too. I'm sure that I am going to love it here." the male said, averting his pale blue gaze as he took in the forceful word vomit being expelled at him from the excited canine. He glanced back to the dog however as they mentioned escorting him back to the camp. Immediately, he was about to respond with a declination but then he saw the expression plastered across the other male's face and felt himself faltering. Their dark gaze shone with pure excitement as he beamed up at Chastie. God, how could he say no to that face? He was sheltered but again, he was not an asshole. He couldn't say no. Might as well go along with it. If you can't beat them, join them. "Sure, I wouldn't mind you showing me the way back to camp if it isn't that much trouble" he sighed with a swish of his tail, offering the samoyed a small smile as he spoke.

Chastiefol himself was a rather peculiar creature although it was not completely evident at taking a mere first glance at him. However, if probed enough he would probably spill a few key details about himself. His heritage was not entirely mortal which meant that he was different to the rest. He did not have wings, at least not any visible ones however, he was a fairy from quite a distant land although that was something that was no more. His jaw clenched ever so slightly as the scenes of chaos and complete and utter destruction flickered through his mind. Of course, he was proud of what he was, even if he had no proper home any more. There was one thing that he would never state outright however. He would never be so blunt about his entire identity. Apart from his supernatural ties to the fairy world, there was more to it. He had done bad things, yes, and had found himself being deemed to be the sin of sloth. The thought of it caused him to draw more into himself, subconsciously curling his tail around his left leg as he waved away the thoughts with a single blink. He fixed his attention solely onto the duo before him in an attempt to stop any stray ideas or thoughts from consuming his already raging mind.

"I think that I'll go with Dean. It seems easier to remember" the male responded as his pale powdered blue gaze swept over the winged canine before him. If he thought that Chastiefol was odd now with the current form 0 of his weapon, form 0 being the pillow he was sat on, then it would probably come as a shock to those around him when he needed more than just something to lounge on. However, that was more like a hurdle that he would cross when he came to it and decided to not address any of the things about himself that may appear to be bizarre. He was a mystical little kid and liked having an air of suspenseful mystery around him. He enjoyed keeping people guessing and it also allowed him to stick to the reserved path that he had opted to take. "Eh, are you alright? You look a bit... uncomfortable" the floating youth inquired, his fictional brows quirked upwards as his attention took to the wings that were tucked in rather awkwardly to the other male's sides. Of course, it was none of his business and he had opened his mouth more out of spontaneous curiosity than anything else but he still felt it was nice to ask in case there was something wrong. He would not care too much about the circumstances but it was common courtesy in most situations to see if another being was alright if they were displaying discomfort. If Dean did not want to discuss it then that was fine by the dark russian blue. It was not like Chastie would really like to delve into any deep life stories anyway.

    not in the words — theo — sunclan/skyclan — he/his/him — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt; line-height: 115%][ HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MUCH MUSE. LIKE HOT DAMN ]

hearing karma/dean's voice (he was still working on it), the child would toss a glance to the side at the winged shepherd before turning back to the joiner with an eager nod. yup! this was sunclan. oops, he forgot to confirm the other's question as to where he was. oh well, they didn't seem too mad about it. in fact, they had taken him up on his offer to show them around. oh this was absolutely great! he loved showing the new members around, especially when it came to the beach town itself but, they only wanted help back to camp. that's okay too. he liked to explore things on his own sometime too. "it's no problem at all!" the puppy confirms with a fierce nod of his head.

as the conversation moves to bounce back between chastiefol and dean (as their new clanmate had decided on calling him - why couldn't he be that decisive?), the child would let out a giggle at the question about the german shepherd's wings. it probably wasn't in his place to tell but theo's verbal filter was basically non-existant. "he went cliff diving," the child would simply supply before breaking off with another giggle. everyone knew you had to get cliff diving. otherwise it was bungee-jumping or parasoaring...daragliding... it was something like that where you were suppose to skip the water. theo was always too clumsy with his wings to give it a proper go.

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:460px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:white;]//black magic is how i muster this muse
i'm joking, i just really like this character cx

"Ur, if you want, you can show me a few places of interest too on the way, just so I can get a bit of an understanding about the area." he said with a flick of his tail, gaze flickering between the samoyed puppy and the larger, winged canine. They seemed nice enough, he supposed. He could tolerate this place for the time being that he would spend he
re. And he knew already that he would have a lot of fun sightseeing. After all, the territory that they inhabited was a rather exotic one, completely foreign to his senses considering the fact that he had come from places that were more like moorland and fields. It was a welcome change though. He quite liked the tropical surroundings.

The russian blue feline blinked down at Theo as he spoke up in place of the one that he had decided to call Dean intrigue causing the young male's fictional brows to quirk upwards slightly. Cliff diving? It sounded like a lot of fun but then again, he was not exactly mortal and also was capable of, as he always seemed to be, levitation. Therefore, the usual risks that came as a side effect to the apparently dangerous feat of cliff jumping did not really apply to him. Then again, there was always the chance that his powers could malfunction or he could have perhaps not gotten enough rest and therefore fainted mid flight. However, these were all extremely unlikely events and they had yet to actually occur in his life. He was sure that he would be fine if he was to decide that he wanted to fling himself off of the top of a cliff just for the fun of it.

Chastiefol flicked his ear as he noticed that the samoyed seemed to be giggling. What was that all about? The prospect that this individual had risked their own life. He, personally, found that quite funny but it was more of an internal, bitter amusement. Not something that he would ever dream of outright expressing. Especially not right in front of the being. The russian blue youth decided to take a wild guess that the two canines before him were close and were therefore allowed to laugh at the other's expense. It did not seem right but it was the conclusion that seemed to be the most logical. Times like this however, he really wished that he still had that little greyhound child around as they had exhibited a knack for reading minds. Then, he might have been able to gain a little more insight into the current situation. Right, that kid. It was another being that he had lost touch with along the way in his endeavour to turn his back on his demons. For all he knew, that child could be dead now and it would technically be all of his thought for leaving them.

Chastie cleared his throat, his mind travelling to dark places. Thoughts venturing into forbidden territory that he had shrouded in darkness for his own benefit. He did not need to be thinking of such things. "Well, um. I hope your alright?" he stated in a tone that he hoped himself was a supportive one although his words had slipped from his tongue much more like an inquiry than anything else. "Hey, should we get going?" the feline hummed as his glazed pale powdered blue gaze drifted back onto Theo, ears perking ever so slightly as he leaned back into his pillow, still levitating in place before the duo. He guessed that exploring a bit with this individual would not be all bad. It would probably be a bonding experience which was something that he did not desire however, he would also get to see the sights based on a local's perspective which would be nice.
