  • I put it in the Original post, but I'll say it against just for you

They are basically going to meet in the BT Tower, and that's in England, after they get the notice, so would you like to start when they both meet there?

  • //yah that works, thank ya//

I had just gotten done scowering the grounds. I had given up on the last group, they were too slow and easy targets. Some of them had talked about towers as being great hiding spots to stay. Tis why I am at the bottom of the BT tower. Seems crazy to stay there, but I would take all my chances against the new world. I pulled out my sword and walked to the door.

  • I leaned forward, pressing my forehead against the glass and glance down. The interior was a mess, papers scattered by frantic workers trying to escape, chairs and table upturned, broken glass everywhere and scuff marks on the floor. I spotted a female (I guessed, they were too far down to really see) and bolted away from the window, tearing down the stairs to meet this person face to face. I burst out the emergency exit, which would normally set off an alarm if it was still active, then curved around the side, breathless. "Oi!" I called, approaching the person rapidly which probably was a bad idea, seeing a strange woman come at you so fast. I felt the utility belt bump my side, constantly reminding me of the contents in it. No, it wasn't bullets, but different kinds of pills, drugs, and weed that I had stolen from a nearby supply post. I looked up, my blue eyes shining as I sprinted to meet the person, when I got close to her I skidded to a halt. I pressed three fingers to my head in a little salute. "Hello ma'am..." I said, my accent as thick as ever.

  • I immediately jumped as a girl a taller than me raced down to greet me. My sword was still up as I met her blue eyes. Her accent was thick and rich, as she saluted me. "Um, hi. Is this what you would make of a base to some sort?" I said my sword lowered a bit. I would not take any chances. "I've been wandering for a couple of days, but this seems like a nice stop, maybe a base." I said my accent getting a little thick at the end.

  • I reeled back, dropping the quirky facade I had put up. If I were any more stupid, i wouldn't let her stay, but hey, I'm not inhumane and the tower was quite large. "Yes ma'am it can be." I looked up, gazing up until my eyes met the sky. The circular building was good of peripheral views, and the windows helped with that as well, but there was no real way to get up and down the floors except the fire escape and elevator, which wasn't quite safe at the moment. "A couple of days? How long has it been?" I asked, astonished. The warning was placed a little while ago, which means... The aliens must be close to landing. I looked up at the sky and resisted the urge to shudder. Aliens shouldn't exist.

  • "It's been I think four maybe five. I lost track just kept walking." I said looking up. "Is there anyone else here? I would stay a little while but I need to get back on foot. To an U.S. military base, my boyfriend went in, he has to be there."

  • I bit my lip. She wasn't serious, was she? "No, ma'am. No one else here..." I absent-mindedly trailed off, thinking of something to say next. They had an military base captured? Surely the military wouldn't let them to that. Does that mean that the soldiers and civilians that were once there.. Evacuated? There would be not better place to be than an Air-force base or maybe a Navy Docking port. "This means that," I paused, feeling a lump in my throat. "That the military has given up on us? And saved themselves?" What a cowardly bunch of people. That was truly sad, the people that put their life on the line for the "country" wouldn't have a problem abandoning ship if there was any real trouble. Cowards. Scum. "Your boyfriend. He's probably dead by now." I said bluntly, not even thinking about the repercussions.
