THIS IS HOW IT'S GONNA BE

Valentine didn't know what had happened, but when he woke up, he wasn't a hellhound anymore.

Nothing even remotely canine. In fact, the furthest thing from it. He was a bloody panther.

His shiny coat was jet black, but his eyes were still the same - red, glowy, no pupils.

    "Umm, guys?"

"Valentine?" the male hummed with his fictional brows raised as he regarded the familiar being in an unfamiliar body before him. The young brown tabby slunk over, a tired yet exceptionally intrigued glimmer held deep within the dark depths of his narrowed eyes. He had met the other being before however they had never really engaged in any long, meaningful conversations that made them anything more than mere clanmates. Earthlypaw knew little about him but he still knew enough for him to remark on the current situation that the other male was in. "Looking good, man. I'm going to go ahead and assume that this change wasn't exactly a planned one?" Ea added with a swish of his tail, curious chocolate gaze taking in the form that the older male had adopted as his own now. He had liked the whole hellhound thing that he had had going on previously because to Earthly, personally, it was quite threatening yet also rather fascinating all at the same time. Of course, the charcoal, lean sculpture of a panther stood before him was something that also drew a sense of curious wonder out of the youth but the element of anxiousness at staring at a menacing creature, in his eyes, had dissolved into naught. It was impressive to some degree however, he had to give it that.

    "Umm, guys, what?"

Esca hadn't bothered to open her eyes until she heard Val, taking a moment to glance around before she find him. The feline stared for a moment, her eyes widening. Esca pushed to her paws, the pregnant feline wandering towards Val with a grunt. "Nice." She said, settling down in front of him. She smirked slightly, as if thinking something extremely dirty, before dropping the grin.

Val knew that he could transform into a panther, so that wasn't a shock. It was just the fact that he had been 100% sure he could control it. Apparently not...

As Ea arrived, Val scowled slightly. "Yeah, this was planned. I totally wanted to turn into a cat," he said, raising his brow slightly. As Esca arrived, however, his attitude changed completely after she gave him a rather... strange look.

The male shifted - it wasn't a gesture of being uncomfortable, more one of not actually knowing what to do in this situation. He blushed and stared at the ground. Why was he getting flustered all of a sudden? "Thanks honey," he finally mocked, looking up.

Oh he just had to go and screw it up.

She rolled her eyes, tail flicking side to side with a snort. She paused, only as she realized what he was doing. Blushing. She turned rather red herself, but kept her ears shoved forward and the defiant look on her face. "Call me honey again and you'll get one up your ass." She said, but it was without it's usual fire, seeing as she was flustered herself.

Finally, a situation Val could deal with.

"I'll have to find another name," he grinned, although it seemed sort of... distracted. Cos, yeah, he was distracted. By Esca.

[fancypost=width: 450px; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][align=justify]That was Valentine? Last time Ivy had seen him, he was a hellhound. Now, he seemed to be a panther... and didn't look too happy about it. Of course she didn't catch onto the dirty words which were exchanged, but instead went on to congratulate the minnow on his new form, despite the fact that he seemed to like being a hellhound more. "Oh, that look suits you, Val!" She exclaimed, wagging her tail. Maybe she'd help him feel a bit better about the situation. Well, hopefully.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%][color=beige]Kate had her fair share of shapeshifting mishaps back when she was still learning how to control her power so she understood how much of a pain in the neck it could be. Especially when the body was the complete opposite of what you normally where. "I agree with Ivly, sir. I think you look really cool." the small canine chimes in with an encouraging smile. Panthers where pretty cool in her opinion.

As the leader and Kate arrived, the male grinned. "Thanks guys, this wasn't really supposed to happen," he said, shrugging slightly.

arcane approached the hellhound - no, the panther - with a curious glance. even as a feline valentine was taller than him. he said nothing, only stared at the sleek black pelt, which thankfully, was the same.
