    stumpy was back for what, the third time?

    during his stay in the twolegplace, he had grown extremely fat. he was a chubby little cat, rosy cheeks and small stature as always. his cocoa fur was extremely sleek and shiny, and though it was still short, it shone in the light sun. his olive eyes sparkled with life, they were not of the cat moons ago who could not hunt for his clan and was...a failure.

    moons ago, stumpy had ran away, only to come back, then depart again. he couldn't bear to leave his family for good - tatteredstar, wasppaw, everyone else that he loved... but the question was, did they miss him? did they remember him, the one to fail at everything they did? the skyclanner who couldn't climb?

    laughing, he took pride in that. it was so long ago that he was a skyclan apprentice, it seemed like a dream more than a memory. his mind was now set on eating the same food, doing the same things with the exception to glancing out at the skyclan territory every so often and wandering around the thunderpaths. his mind was a bit vacant, he could say.

    sitting down on the skyclan border, his tail - now a stump. truth was that he got into a nasty fight with a fox, which, in turn, tore out his entire tail and left only the tip of the vertebrae sticking out of the original injury. good thing a stub of a tail had grown in its place - another reason why he was called stumpy. great.

    he waited silently, his eyes shining as he glanced at the familiar wildlife. he hoped he wouldn't be attacked, he didn't know how to fight anyways. mainly he just came for a reunion.

    ooc; ignore the reference picture below! he has a stumpy tail ;P

  • The warrior hesitated to approach the scent she picked up on, wondering if anyone else had detected it yet since she was one of the best trackers the Clan had. Right now? The she cat knew she could not win in battle and fleeing from an enemy would be exceptionally difficult right now, if whoever she scented was hostile. Yet for some reason her brain did not ring alarm bells at the smell, instead it quieted down some, as if she knew whoever she was smelling. Although it took several long moments to figure out? She eventually realized the scent wafting in on the breeze was that of StumpyPaw one of those they had lost over the winter, another reason for the situation she was currently in. At the least she knew the tom was no threat to herself or anyone else in the Clan she doubted he would be threatening even if he tried. Unlike the often quiet moody she-cat? Foxy didn't think Stump had a mean bone in his body.. prehaps she should ask to trade skeletons and give him one or two of her 'get out of my face before I claw you' bones in return for an extra nice bone or two.

    FoxDancer would come into view without any delay, though the figure of her would likely confuse the kitty pet for a second. When he had last been in the clan? She had been a small, slim but incredibly fluffy female and now she was still small, fluffy, but instead of just fluff she had gotten very fat. "Stumpy" her voice sounded terse like she was unsure if she should chase him off or not, truth was she had been incredibly displeased by him leaving. Life in Sky Clan? Had not been easy during leaf bare at all, and in the end they had lost so many she betrayed herself to help the clan by deciding to have kittens with TatteredStar, which was why she really should not have been out in the territory. Honestly she had given up warrior duties the week before, but staying still never suited her too well, so she took walks she neglected to tell people about sometimes. "What Do You Need?" even if he could do good by coming back? It would take the she-cat some time to forgive the fact he had left when thing's were rough, but she had been prickly from the start.

    Wasppaw of Skyclan

    //Want me to redraw your refrence pic stumpster? ;v;

    Yes, in the very few moons that Stumpypaw had been gone, a lot had changed. Skyclan had decreased in numbers - including that of Audanine's moving, herbs were low, cats were sick, Tatteredstar had gained more scars and Foxdancer more belly. Wasppaw himself had lost a mentor, gained new battle scars - one of which having gotten infected and leaving his left eye red tinted and half-blind - and retained the look of a tom much older than his years.
    Whether Stumpy believed it or not, Wasppaw most certainly missed the heck out of his brother. Everytime he looked at Tatteredstar and noted that they were all that was left of Snowbloom's blood, he missed him. But he had no time to grieve - too busy was he in camp to worry about his own selfish woes and longings for the old days in the nursury, cuddled up to his munchkin brother...

    "Foxdancer I have half a mind to tie your tail to a tree with brambles if you dont stop wandering out!" Wasppaw called, his usual laid-back-ness replaced with frustrated and exaughsted sighs. He had been following her trail since an NPC informed him of her disappearance from the nursury. Honestly - this queen was driving his patience thin - AND THAT WAS A HARD THING TO DO! She was stressing her body as well as her unborn kits far too much with all her escapees, why couldnt she get that through her thick skull!?
    Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm his bubbling heat. Trying to see through her paws, he could understand her restlessness. He himself was confined mostly to the camp, tending to his clan mates and his duties. He himself would do anything for a nice, long -

    "Stumpypaw?" pushing through the undergrowth, Wasppaw was startled when he came upon the sight of his brother conversing with the tortishell troublemaker. Wasppaw was speechless for a moment, trying to figure out if he was imagining things. But, no, with a blink he realized he wasn't.
    And so with a grin larger than life, the cream tabby rushed past Foxdancer and aimed to tackle his brother in a hug.
