Here he was in his den, curled up in his nest beside his girlfriend, Himiko. He had invited her to stay the night with him, as a good boyfriend would do, and they had spent the whole night talking until they fell asleep.


    The snow leopard was dozing off, back to Himiko, before he sleepily opened his eyes and gazed ahead. He looked over his shoulder and gazed at his beautiful girlfriend, and he smiled weakly, rolling onto his other side so that he was facing her/her back (depending on how you positioned her??). Titan didn't say anything, as she was still sleeping, but he watched her for a while. She looked so peaceful when she slept and he didn't want to disturb her.

    Last night, Himiko had felt so happy. Being close to someone she felt so much love for. Not saying a word, not doing anything, but knowing that there was something there. That feeling is what Himiko craved. Falling asleep in her lovers arms way easy; she felt safe, loved.


    Waking up to his face was both startling and comforting. Slowly, she inched even closer to him, feeling the warmth of his body. Himiko buried her face in his chest, giving out a long, slow purr. "Morning" she smiled, giving his chin a lick.

He replied. He flicked his tail and said, "You look so pretty when you're asleep." Titan hoped that didn't come off as creepy, but it was true. He could watch her for hours, but hey, he was allowed to. She was his and nobody else's.

    "Awh, how creepy of you to say" she teased, a short laugh escaping her maw. The snow leopard swished her tail as she pressed herself against Titan even more, hungry for the comfort of physical contact.

    Titan purred as Himiko cuddled up against him. He aimed to wrap his large paw around her and pull her closer to his side. "Hey, it's better me than someone else." He chuckled with a shrug.

    "True" she shrugged. Sitting up so she could face titan, a thought came to her mind. Kittens. Debating whether or not it was the right time to bring it up, the feline held a thoughtful look on her face. Then again, they knew they loved each other. Yes, their relationship was new, but they were young, and it was a good time to have kits; she could still hunt, care for them. She was in her prime.


    "What is your opinion on kits?". The snow leopard asked after a brief moment of silence. Hopefully she wouldn't make him too uncomfortable with this question, then again she wasn't desperate for kits. Perhaps it was still good to talk about it now, even if they decided against it for the time being.

He closed his eyes blissfully for a moment before being caught off-guard by Himiko's question. Kits? He was, of course, an oblivious boyfriend (and oblivious in general) so he didn't immediately catch on. "Oh, uh.." Titan gave a shrug. "They're cute... most of the time." He knew that some kids could be total brats. "Why?"

    Himiko nodded in agreement with his statement, thinking about how cute their children could be. When he asked why, she rolled her eyes, chuckling a bit as he had not quite caught on to what she was trying to say. Looking at him with wide, round eyes, the feline was scared slightly, but a final deep breath steadied her mind. "Well, how you find being the father of kits". Perhaps this was a more obvious suggestion, rather than his opinion on just the kits themselves.

    Titan was caught off-guard by Himiko's question. He angled his ears in surprise and lifted his head to match her gaze, his eyes rounded with interest. "Huh?" The riverguard flicked his tail, cocking his head. "You.. want kits?" Titan wasn't exactly against the suggestion but he was just surprised. Himiko was young. She could grow into a powerful fighter. She had so much potential. This was not to say that Himi still couldn't do so with kits, but having kits would mean taking care of them four roughly 6 months in a row. This would be life-changing for both of them.

    Himiko gave him a nod, but not a firm one; she was a warrior at heart; not a medic or a support, instead she was a front-line fighter. Having kits would obviously put a stop to that for a while, perhaps even altogether. "Yes- well, I don't know". Her eyes drifted down to her own paws, her mind undecided. Maybe bringing this up hadn't been a good idea. "I would love kits, but i'm not exactly mother material" she smirked as she glanced down to the large scar on her shoulder. Battle-scars. Littering her face and body.

    Titan let his gaze flicker downward in thought. He would then return his gaze to Himiko's and he murmured, "You'd be a great mom." But would he be a good father? He had never even met his biological father, and he had sort of "taken care of" his adopted father. How was he supposed to know what parenting was like? "Would this make you happy?" That was really all that mattered to him, really.

    The thought of having her own kits made her smile, and even more so when she knew Titan would be their father. It would bring new life to Riverclan; new warriors, perhaps, if they were anything like their parents. Looking up at him, she gave him a soft nod, followed by a smile. "It would" the snow leopardess purred, before pushing her head gently against his. It would be a big step for them, and they were still young, but she beleived they had the capability of being good parents.
