TAKE IT OUTSIDE // open, Torture Show

Again, he felt himself being lifted and thrown. The chains stopped him from getting too far, and just dislocated his shoulder instead. He stifled a cry of pain so that it sounded more like a grunt. The griffin landed hard on the ground, and he tried to roll off of his injury, but just as he rolled onto his non-injured side, Bill's claws dug in deep into his dislocated shoulder and again he cried out, unable to stifle it as much.

The burning agony was almost too much, and he felt like he was just fluttering on the edge of consciousness, as the darkness gathered at the edges of his vision.

Oliver glanced over as Bill moved away, and struggled against the pain and his chains when the dream demon shoved Peter to the ground. He shook his head furiously and yelled, "No! What do you want from me? Tell me! This is between you and me. Torture me. Kill me. But leave Peter out of this!" If Peter died this whole thing would be for nothing. He just couldn't allow that to happen.

Oliver squeezed his face as his head rolled back. "I don't know what you want me to confess. I killed them all, is that it? You want me to beg? Here, I'm begging. Just let Peter go." His shoulder burned like hell, but he ignored the pain as he stared straight at Bill, equal parts begging and outraged. 'If you hurt him, I swear... I swear I'm gonna kill you," he growled in a low, breathy tone.

Oliver watched Peter's supposedly lifeless body fall to the ground. The griffin's legs buckled from under him and his head bowed. He'd failed Henry and Atticus, and this was all for nothing. Peter was dead, and he was still in chains.

As Bill got closer to Oliver, he lunged from his kneeling position, hoping to attack him. But he ended up just short of Bill as his chains didn't quite reach, so he jerked his body in frustration. What was the point of fighting, though? Peter was dead, and there was nothing for him here. Bill's words made him think, and he was just so tired of all of it.

"Because I wanted to," he breathed as he bowed his head so that he could hold his face in his claws for a second. The feeling he got when he killed someone... It was more than just a job well done.

"BECAUSE I WANTED TO! AND I LIKED IT!" he screamed as he stood and glowered at Bill. It was only after he said it out loud did he really realize the implications of it, and what it meant. Not only was a killer, but he was a murderer who liked to kill. All the things that he thought he did for the better were shed in a new light, and it wasn't pretty. Distraught by this turn of events, he turned away from Bill and sat down as he stared at the floor, defeated. Everything that he was doing was a lie.

He watched Bill take off his chains from somewhere far away in his head. The only thing he could think about was what he had said. How he liked killing. He was the advisor of justice in Windclan, could he really be just if he was a pychological killer? He was the deputy of the Eclipse Force -- how could he even be the guy his clan needed if he was someone that maybe the Eclipse Force should be investigating?

As Peter rose up, Oliver felt hollow. But maybe it was also a bit of relief, since now he could finish what he set out to do. But Peter had played along, and he felt empty at the fox's betrayal. Upon seeing the young one's guilty look, however, Oliver changed his mind and realized that Lucifer had probably done things to him to make him play along, and that perhaps he was as much (or maybe even moreso) the victim than the griffin was.

He got up slowly as pain lanced through his dislocated shoulder. He winced, but turned to Peter and cocked his head. "C'mon, your family is waiting for you back home." The advisor forced a smile and limped on three legs back towards Windclan, as Peter shuffled along behind him. Every movement sent jolts of pain to his shoulder, but he wanted to make sure that they weren't being followed before he relocated it.
