  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    //Rushed

    The dragon narrowed her eyes, but in more of a confused than a hostile way.
    This is our land, she replied simply. Could she even communicate like this?

    Not being a part of this conversation, but seeing that the dragon was responding to something, Summer sat her haunches carefully, slowly down, her claws scoring the ground repeatedly. If the dragon rushed in in an attack, Summer would be the one to be able to defend her Clanmate; Summer may not be close to Oceantail yet, seeing as this was one of the first few times she'd ever seen the she-cat much less interacted with her, but Summer was a very heroic personality type and would die for a stranger if need called for it.

    // gonna say this happens before the HawkClan ambassador even came to the Clan, so before Oceantail and Summer ever really interact. <3 Hope that's alright? Also. Gordon Ramsay is worth it and I completely 100% understand the delay xD

  • //Thanks, and kewl:)

    "The dragon just said this was their land..." She said, trailing off. She wondered what they could do.

    Blinking in confusion for a second, she would twitch her tail tip with uncertainty. "Well that sure puts a damper on our claim to this place. If they were here first, they have original claim... I refuse to run anyone off of the territory that is rightfully theirs but..." Her Clan came first, always. If Ringo didn't want to move, and these dragons didn't want to leave, it would be war if they couldn't come to an agreement. "Ask them how long they've lived here, and if they've known we've been here as well." Perhaps, if they'd always known they were in the area, since before they truly settled in, the dragons would be alright with living peacefully here.

  • "So, umm, how long have you been staying here? Also, have you ever noticed us inhabiting the nearby area?" She asked. If all went well the dragon would answer with something nice that wouldn't affect either of them. Something like they had been staying here for a shorter time than Skyclan.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The dragon blinked twice, still shielding her young from the felines.
    "We arrived here last full moon," she replied, not feeling the need to elaborate, "We have caught glimpses of your kind in the mountains -" she flicked her tail towards the mountains, which were littered with cabins "- but have never interacted with you." The young watched the unfamiliar cats with curiosity, turning to stare at his claws when they turned his way. Only now did he finally pipe up. "You guys l-live here too? Ok What are you, anyway?" The elder dragon shot stern look at him, whispering "Be polite!" under her breath.

  • Oceantail snickered, "It's fine, we are cats, a species of mammal that is usually very smart and cunning but in some cases, weird. I definitely count as a weird one. So, why haven't you talked to us? And on the subject of talking, why can't you two use dragontongue? It seems like most dragons would be able to use it but my friend tried and it didn't work." Turning to the other cats she said, "They arrived last full moon and have seen us but never interacted." She felt the need to update her friends while she waited for the dragon to reply.

    Thankful for the update, she dipped her head and remained quiet, respectful and thoughtful. Last full moon, and knew of them? They seemed peaceful. Would it be necessary to kick them out? Or perhaps they could become honorary members of the Clan. The thought that it would be a true and unexpected aid in battle crossed the femme's mind and she had no regret on thinking it.

    //mobile + rushed

    "We weren't sure if you lived there, or were just traveling through," the elder dragon replied. She narrowed her eyes at the felines next question. "There is more than one dragontongue. There are more universal ones, such as the one your friend was speaking, but the one our tribe uses is different." The small dragon, meanwhile, remained wide-eyed with amazement at the two strangers.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "Hm, interesting. Well, according to our leader, we probably won't be moving anytime soon so how about we work out a living arrangement, unless you two plan to leave soon. So why can we speak telepathically together even though I have absolutely no idea how to speak Dragontongue?" Updating her clanmates, she said "They didn't talk to us because they didn't know if we were passing through or not." She flew up closer to eye level on the dragon so as to try and get her thoughts on a straighter path. They were getting a bit scrambled with the height difference.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The dragoness nodded.
    "That is fine by me," she replied, "And no, I have no clue why this works."

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "Cool, I guess we're on the same page then. Do you have any questions?" She asked. It was aimed towards the younger dragon but it was really for both of them.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The older dragon shook her head, looking down at her young with a small smile.
    "Now you can talk," she said gently, and the young beamed up at her. He pondered what to ask for a good long moment before looking at the two felines.
    "What...what are your names? I'm Kyrorra!" The elder dragon rolled her eyes with a smile from her position above the young, though he didn't notice.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "That's a pretty name, mine is Oceantail." She kept her sentence short to try and get the conversation to move along faster but she updated her clanmates on the younger dragon's name. "The younger one says that his name is Kyrorra, if that helps with anything." She didn't think it would but it was an interesting thing to know.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    A few NPCs had gathered by now, making the older dragon quite uncomfortable. Part of her wanted to leave, while the other part wanted to gather information on the strange creatures. They were quite intriguing, really - small and furry, though most had wings like the birds that roamed in the sky and trees. Kyrorra, however, paid no mind to his mother's nervousness. He, too, was intrigued, though wasn't afraid to ask as many questions as it took to fully understand them.
    "And...what about the other one?" he asked, flicking his long scaly tail at the one who had shifted into a dragon earlier.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "That's Summerconstellations. She is very nice and she loves fishing just as much as I do which is great." Sensing the mothers nervousness from all the clan members, she tried to send the feeling of calmness over to the older dragon. No words, just feels.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The mother managed to calm down a bit, but still wanted to leave. Luckily for her, Kyrorra seemed to be getting less and less interested in these new creatures.
    "Oh," he replied, "I like fishing too."

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "So, I guess you guys can stay near us, maybe even join us if there is a battle or something. If you want to leave, that's understandable. Also if you stay, please don't destroy anything. Just out of common curtesy."When she got the dragon's reply, she would update her friends about living plans.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    Kyrorra lowered his head in embarrassment, while the other dragon merely nodded.
    "I will have to discuss this with our leaders, but I believe they will agree." She glanced down at her son, smiling as she did so. "Say sorry for setting things on fire," she whispered. Kyrorra sighed, though he looked ashamed. "Sorry." the elder dragon looked back at the small gathering of felines. "Very well, then. We will be sure to put out the fires, don't worry. I, ah, hope you all have a lovely day. Was she supposed to leave, or did they have more to say? The dragon lingered a bit, waiting for a response.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "So, umm, anything else you wanna say or..." She didn't know what to say at this point so it was turning into an awkward silence.
