    RINGO | SKYCLAN

    [font=Times new roman]Even though they had been there for months, much of Skyclan's territory had been left unexplored. No one knew - or dared to find out - what mysteries lay out there. Until the mysteries started to come visit them. A lone dragon stalked the forests close to the famous camp, searching for something to eat. At it side trotted a smaller dragon, who was happily setting every piece of undergrowth he could find on fire. It was pretty hard to miss the duo.

    Most didn't know of Summer's many forms, a smaller-sized dragon being one of them, but this time, that dragon setting things on fire wasn't her. She'd been stretching her wings over the territory, something she considered relaxing but others found strenuous considering the amount of power it took to get her going at her favourite speed, 30-40 miles per hour at a glide, when she spotted the two, and at first, she thought they were friendly, nomadic giants wandering through, but then the drifting scent of smoke hit her. Pulling into a tight arc and veering upwards with a few mighty pounds of her wings, Summerconstellations would keep an eye on them and wonder about what to do. If she had a couple others with her, it wouldn't be an issue to confront them without fear of being roasted, but since she was alone at the moment, there was little for her to do without risking her own life.

    If there had been someone to protect, she wouldn't hesitate, but it didn't appear that anyone was in any immediate danger.

  • Oceantail caught up to Summer in the sky and immediately asked, "Should we go and investigate those dragons?" Oceantail had seen the smoke and had an army of water orbs behind her just in case.

    Peering at the stranger, who was familiar enough for Summer to know she was a member of SkyClan, the dark tortoiseshell with pale wings would think for a moment, continuing her circle overhead the dragons, wondering how much time she really had deliberating. Coming to a decision, she called to the white she-cat who had come to her aid, "I think an investigation isn't necessary at this point. We should confront them, and prepare ourselves to run them out of the territory." She would sniff, her version of preparation, and otherwise wait for the other's approval or dissent before further action.

  • "That sounds like a good idea." she replied. These dragons were pretty clear about their intentions so being upfront sounded good.

    Without further ado, she would tilt her left wing just enough to send her in a tight spiral down towards the dragons, landing in a powerful stance about ten or fifteen feet in front of the dragon. Narrowing her eyes, she would mew, clear and loud enough for them to hear her, but her stance was purely confrontational, "State your business destroying my territory." She was ready to attack, she was ready for a battle, but she knew that asking first was the best option.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The older dragon let out a startled cry, rearing up on it's hind legs. It stared at Summerconstellations blankly for a moment before lowering it's front legs to stand normally. It circled it's young, still watching the two flying creatures that had appeared before it. The young dragon had stopped igniting the forest, and instead stood with a frightened look on it's face. They both seemed to be waiting for something.

    Fur fluffing up when the dragon reared back, she at first thought that the creature was going to crush her, and she was momentarily paralyzed with stunned terror. Then, when it appeared that she had in fact scared the beast with her sudden appearance, Summer took a step back, maybe a little too hastily considering her frozen fear moments earlier. Noticing that the dragon seemed both confused and nervous, Summer would glance back at Oceantail, hestitation clear in her body language. None of this Clan seemed to have any semblance of shapeshifting as a power; Oceantail had orbs, Silver had his handsy collar, and Ringo, she, and Oceantail all had wings. How would it come across if the dark-coated femme turned into a dragon? The youngster and her reptilian form were about the same size, if the baby wasn't just a little bit smaller.

    Coming to her decision, she shook herself out and shifted into a black dragon with intense red underscales, a type of shimmering deathly glow. Snorting softly, she blinked her coal-black eyes and used the fingers of her wings to prop her up, given the lack of forelegs, and whispered, in a tongue she didn't know how she knew but had acquired basic knowledge of when she'd originally gotten the form, the tongue of dragon, "Greetings. My name is Summerconstellations. Who are you, and where have you come from? Your young is destroying territory patrolled by my Clan." She kept her voice level, unsure of her words but certain an idea of what she said would come across. She would ignore the twinge in her heart to see Oceantail's reaction to her shapeshift.

  • Oceantail looked at the dragon that had come out of her clan mate. She almost yelled out the word awesome but she held her tongue as a strange language was being spoken. The entire ordeal stamped a look of awe and curiosity on oceantails face.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The dragon, unlike Summerconstellations, lacked the intelligence to speak fluently in dragontongue. It could make out the words young, territory, name, and you. It tilted it's head in confusion, still shielding it's young from harm.

    Becoming frustrated but burying it down under her aura of calm, she tried even simpler terms. "Safe. You are safe. I won't hurt your young." Her tail would tap the ground softly behind her, the only semblance of her tension. She glanced towards Oceantail and recalled the memory of losing her telepathy in this form. She had no way of communicating with the feline beside her, a small figure comparatively now.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The dragon understood. It relaxed, though it's gaze was still wary. The young behind it was staring at Oceantail with amazement, having never seen a blue cat before. Or a regular cat, for that matter.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • //sorry this is rushed

    Oceantail noticed that after the second round of words, the real dragon seemed to calm down a bit. She looked around to see what would happen next.

    Summer would realize that they weren't going to get anywhere, so she dipped her head to the dragoness and shifted back down into cat form, a relief if there ever was any. "My apologies for the lack of warning, Oceantail. But the dragon and her young... They don't understand me, or dragontongue, really. I'm at a loss here; have you any ideas?"

    // kinda rushed

  • "Not really, maybe we just have to act it out. I find it weird how they don't understand their own language though..." Her mind drifting off. If dragontongue didn't seem to work what would? She immediately said, "What if they can speak telepathically? Maybe I can help with that!" She completely forgot that she hadn't told anyone but Ringo that she was telepathic and she didn't realize it even after her comment.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: arial; font-size: 14px; color: #B3CCFF]「 black bird, black moon — black sky, black light- everything black 」

    Chuckling to herself, she nodded, "Yes, maybe that would work. Please, if you would." She figured if the telepathy didn't work, they would have to become mimes for the time being and try to convey some kind of meaning.

    Summer doubted she had any talent whatsoever in acting, or projecting, or any of that kind of 'thing'.

  • //sorry this is late, I got distracted with a Gordon Ramsay marathon.

    Oceantail had to think of something simple to say, "Peace, safety, questions." She tried to think in very simple terms that almost anyone could understand. She put a look on her face that showed kindness to try and get the message across that way too. She repeated those words multiple times trying to transfer the message from her brain to theirs. This was one of their last hopes to bring peace and she hoped it would work.

  • RINGO | SKYCLAN

    The dragon has already relaxed from Summerconstellation's attempts, and now tilted her head at the mention of questions. Did they want to ask her something? She wasn't sure.

    [center][fancypost=borderwidth=0px; width: 480px; color: #dcdcdc;]

  • "What are you doing around our home? There will be no problem do long as you do not destroy the land." She said, choosing her words carefully. The dragon was being very calm now so she decided to ask it that question.
