TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — If ever a time where Mary was grumpy, this was it.

The bear hybrid made her way through the thick outskirts of jungle. She had literally no idea of where she was. At all. She had gotten...separated from Alice, the human whom had dreamed her up all those years ago. Drawing away, playing...wherever Alice went, you bet your sweet ass Mary would be right there, ready to give advice like a 24/7 hotline in person.

She sighed as she made her way through the thick jungle. Her foot got caught on a root and she fell flat on her face. "You stupid, clumsy, son of a- oh, what is the use, you are a tree root, for God sakes." Getting back up she continued on.

Sighing once again she began to smell something funky. SHE sniffed herself. Nope, wasn't her. She guessed it was some animal. Eww. Without noticing she skipped right over the border, her eyes still glancing around.

✦✦✦ (( ayyy alpha!! it's me, hooty!! welcome to shadowclan yo!! ))

Punchy didn't have a friend that was waiting on him. If he did, he probably would've been the type to freak out and try his hardest and bestest to get back to them. But alas, he didn't have a friend that was waiting for him back home. Nor did he have a family that was hoping for him to come back, either. He simply had no one except for ShadowClan. He didn't mind, however.

Truth be told, the dwarfed kitten really liked ShadowClan. The people here were mostly nice– minus Hiruko, who made fun of his collar– and fun. Not only that, but the jungle provided many shady spots for him to relax in, let alone tree stumps. He could sleep on a tree stump all day, and still be satisfied with the day's work. He was just that lazy. And usually no one minded that.

In fact, the male could be seen attempting to doze off on a tree stump. Despite his efforts, he found it hard to fall asleep. Closing his eyes, he rolled onto his back, his paws dangling off of the stump as if he were stretching. Even that didn't feel comfortable enough for him to sleep. However, before he could shift into a new position, a strange scent entered his nostrils.

Rolling back onto his side, Punchy noticed an interesting bear walking about, grumbling to herself. It was a strange sight, really, and he didn't recognize the bear. Falling to his feet, the kitten made his way to the strange creature. With drowsy eyes, he attempted to flash a smile. He was naturally friendly, but boy did he just want to sleep.

"Hello!" he mewed in greeting, his tail held high. "I'm Punchy! Who are you?"

Mary wideness her eyes as suddenly a kitten landed in front of her. It was a...kitten. And it...she understood it? "Um...hola?" She gave a small wave. "Uh...my name's Mary, but...maybe you should lose the Punchy name. It makes it seem like you're gonna punch me in the nuts and run."

Calina was the second ShadowClanner to appear, having been taking a walk around the territory. Maybe she was supposed to still stay in camp (she wasn't quite sure about the rules on that, now that she was four-and-a-half months old), or maybe she wasn't, but either way, the pup had wandered all the way to the border. That was when she stumbled upon Punchy and Mary. Instantly, a look of confusion took over Calina's face, as she eyed Mary. What the heck is that thing? She thought. She had seen plenty of weird things, seeing as she herself was a damn hellhound hybrid, but this was just super strange.

The Duskreacher came closer, coming to a stop beside Punchy. She paused for a few seconds, simply looking from Punchy to Mary, and then cleared her throat, her formerly puzzled expression turning to one of vague irritation- normally, she wouldn't be so quick to annoy, but the child hadn't been feeling her best lately. She had heard Mary's criticism of Punchy's name and, admittedly, it was quite a strange name- but Calina didn't like anyone suggesting to her clanmates that they should change their name. "I think his name's cool, actually. It sorta sounds like... I dunno, some cool, punch-y, fight-y dude." Calina said with a slight raise of her head. Only a moment later, she spoke again to Mary. "Why're you here? You're over the border. You're supposed to wait on the border." For some reason, it really bugged Calina when strangers went over the border without announcing their business first.

  • "Well, are you here for a reason or not? Because if you're an enemy I could punch you in the nuts." She said simply, approaching. Her short legs carried her in strides to a stop next to Punchy, and she stretched her jaws in a yawn. "whatcha want?"

    /welcome to Shadowclan!

[size=8] better late than never, right? marie followed the sounds of others conversing, having found herself rather lost in the expanse she called shadowclan territory. "well, 'least she hasn't shown any intention she wants to rips us apart, so, welcome, i guess?" the female said, making a mental note that if she was ever to become a leader of something, she had to up her defensiveness. the female glanced at finch, who lately seemed like she was having a hell of a good time. there was more... oh, i don't know, tang to her words? whatever the cause, marie thought it looked good on the little big-eared deputy.

  • [center][fancypost= width: 60%; height: auto; text-align: justify;]Hiruko padded up. He honestly harbored no ill-will towards Punchy. The collar just seemed like an odd edition to the already disadvantaged dwarfed kitten. The tiger looked onto this odd... creature though and had a mind to ask what the hell she was as he had asked many others. However, given the fact that Finch and Marie were in attendance, he decided they may not like hearing that. "Punchy's got a good name, and you don't need to be saying anything about it." He huffed, "What's your business here?"

TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Soon she was greeted with more faces. "Oh, please, no! I don't wish to be punched in the nuts, thank youuu!" she called singsongily. "Anyway, I wasn't aware you all were here. I don't suppose you could let me stay, would you? Quite hungry from following the trail of my human all day..." She stretched her body out. These seemed like harsh people. But eh. She conjured up a shot of beer and downed it in one gulp, sighing in satisfaction. Yep, this hybrid loved drinks. It made all the stress wallow away.

[size=8] well, this kid certainly was an odd thing, but marie wouldn't question, she had seen many odd things in her day. however, as she saw that the... thing conjured up a shot of beer, marie decided to speak up. "if ya' can conjure up a bottle of beer for me, kid, then you can stay i guess..." she was still unsure about this odd character, but oh well. if she could get an alcoholic drink from her, then this kid was in her good books.

roman]"I'll still whack you in the fuckin nuts if you start singing or make fun of Punchy's name." The hellhound responded as she approached next to her daughter, narrowed blue gaze staring into the hybrid joiner with a frown on her expression. "Unfortunately, there is an auto-accept policy. So you're in. The name's Sango."

✦✦✦ Punchy couldn't speak Spanish. He didn't even know that there were other languages other than the one he was used to. Thus, when the strange bear thing said "hola", he was pretty confused. He didn't know what it meant, but he didn't get much of a chance to ask, either, for the bear went on.

At the comment on his name, he frowned, his ears drooping a tad. He liked his name! It sounded funky and fun. Puffing out his chest, the kitten perked his ears back up, in an attempt to look proud of his name.

"I like my name!" he mewed. "It's fun!"

Soon, others such as Cal and Finch came over, coming to his aid. Smiling, he sat down, glad that his name was also liked by others. He wasn't sure what made it sound so bad, but whatever. Turning his head to watch Mary, he tilted his head just a bit, watching her swallow down the beer. He could smell the vile scent it produced, and consequently he wrinkled his nose in disgust.

"That smells gross!" he exclaimed. "What even is that stuff?"

Oh, Punchy. He didn't know many things.

TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Hey, here was someone who liked having drinks as much as she did. "One drink barely solves anything. Now 12 drinks!" She conjured up three more shots of beer, downing them all. "I'm gonna get soooo drunk."

Then came some weird hellhound...or...what even was that thing? "Dunno what you are, but hola anyway!"

Next to speak was Punchy. "Sure. Just don't start punching things, okay?" She conjured up another three shots of beer. "This is beer, buddy! Helps ya cope with life's stressors." She downed those three shots as well in one fell swoop.
