  • Rain. It managed to make it's way to where Amy was supposed to scout for Eggman's growing army of bots that had been seen scavenging around an unidentifiable crash site that was overgrown with grass and even flowers here and there. Sonic thought it would have been a good idea to check it out just in case of some possible technology or even a chaos emerald, but did not expect rain "Alright, Ames. We should be getting pretty close to that wreckage Eggman's robots have been looking through. See it anywhere?" Sonic questioned, his ears flattened in slight annoyance of the weather.

  • Amy somehow had pulled an umbrella from out of somewhere and held it over her head, humming happily as her boots spotched through the mud, the only wet part on her. She had also been keeping an eye out, however, for unlike before, her affections for sonic didn't distract her from the task at hand. Though she didn't appear it with her fashionable boots, raincoat, and umbrella, she was quite tough, calculating, and smart when she wanted to be. Her jade eyes scanned her surroundings, but even though she had an umbrella, the rain shielded a lot from her vision. "I can see just about as much as you can, Sonic. This rain is really something."

  • Sonic only hummed in response, eyeing the terrain until he saw ,just past a large weeping willow, a rather large mound of metal being pelted by the rain covered in bright green grass and the occasional flower "Wow, whatever this is seems pretty old." He commented, staring at it from where they stood and making sure no bots were around to make things hard.

  • "Yeah, it is..." Amy stepped over to the machine and narrowed her eyes, seeing that there was glass shielding whatever was inside. "Uh... Sonic?" She tilted the umbrella so that it shielded the glass from any more rain, wiping the drops from the surface and peering into it.

  • "Whoa, looks..." he paused and squinted at the glass and just barely making out a shape in it, "Hey, something is in this machine. Think I should spin dash?" He asked, tapping on the glass and continuing to try and make out just what could be in there. (Sorry for the small post o~o)

  • I don't really care. XD)

"No! I mean... what if it's a person in there? They could get hurt..." Amy narrowed her eyes in thought and began to trace her hands along the metal, ears flicking as her fingers searched for some sort of crack or lock that she could pry open.

    • "True, but wouldn't--" He stopped himself from saying more, he knew Amy wouldn't want think of something or someone being dead in there. So, he helped joined Amy and looked for something that could open this in a nonviolent way.
  • Amy narrowed her eyes, finding a crack in the metal. She dug her fingers into the crack, but found she couldn't open it so easily with one hand. She growled and put down her umbrella, becoming soaking wet in seconds as she used both hands to pull on the lid-like structure , using her above average strength to pry open the lid with a mighty heave.

  • Sonic gawked at Amy's strength for a few seconds, only for a crack of thunder to send back to reality and help her with one last tug on the 'lid' and fall back along with the glass.

Maria awoke almost immediately after the glass had been pulled off, causing her to gasp for air and attempt to look around, despite being slightly blinded by the light of the outside world, "Wha---Wha." She attempted to speak, but found her throat to be not used to speaking after what was technically about 55 or more years. After adjusting to the light, she was now aware of two....animal people....? She didn't really know.

  • Maria stared at Amy, trying to figure what exactly was going on and who she was, "Y-You're a hedgehog...?" She managed to say, her body shaking in the cold rain and also the shock of just not knowing what was happening at the moment.

  • "Yes...?" Amys ears flicked forward, her eyes blinking in confusion. "Look, h-how did you get here? Why are you in this... metal... thing?" She looked Maria over for injuries before glancing at Sonic. "Sonic, get my umbrella; this girl is freezing!"

  • Sonic had been staring, not quite sure what she was doing in there to begin with Was this what Eggman was looking for? He thought to himself as he grabbed the umbrella and held it above the mystery girl.

Maria looked around at the machine she had been in, rather confused on what it actually was, "U-Um, I don't really know..." She answered with a raspy voice, her voice becoming more and more used to each attempt of talking.

  • Amy looked at Sonic, ears flicking, before she turned to the girl once more, eyes wide with concern. "Well, it isnt safe to be here," she said softly, offering Maria a hand. "C'mon, let's get you somewhere warm and dry, okay?" Her voice was motherly and protective, hoping to bring the confused girl comfort and the feeling of safety.

  • Maria stared at Amy's before hesitantly taking her hand and nodding, "O-ok. Oh, and.." She paused briefly, "My name is Maria...I think?" She told Amy, moving closer to so that she could feel somewhat safer.

Sonia's ears flicked when Maria had given her name, "Maria, huh? Neat!" He said, moving the umbrella over both Amy and Maria. Sadly, the blue blur had to stay soaking wet for what seemed an eternity.

  • "Maria's a pretty name," Amy smiled, helping to pull her out of the pod. "My name's Amy, and this is my friend, Sonic." Once she managed to pull Maria out of the machine, she took off her raincoat and draped it over Maria's shoulders kindly.

  • Maria smiled at Amy's compliment and pulled the raincoat closer to her body, "Amy and Sonic. Interesting." She mumbled, looking at the ground momentarily before looking back up at the others, "Where are we...?" She asked, her head tilted to the side.

"Mobius!" Sonic answered quickly, "You don't really seem all there, Maria." He added, tapping his finger on his head, "Though it does seem like you were part of this crash. Must have bumped your head a bunch in that machine-thing!" He added with slight concern.
