  • Mark flinched when he felt Jack flinch against his own body. Causing him to shift back out of panic. He pulled the Irishman closer to him, sensing his fear and panic. Even flipping him around to have them face one another. "Are you okay? You seemed to have been having a nightmare," he murmured. Allowing his forehead to gently rest on the others own. He had noticed that while he had been fumbling with Jack, his eyes seemed to have gone a dangerous black in a blink of an eye. He barely managed to catch it, but soon decided to not speak about it. He didn't want Jack to leave him, not like his last lover. He didn't want to be left behind, not caring that he could potentially die. He liked Jack, and didn't want to loose him. Mark gently rubbed at Jack's sides, trying to soothe him from the sudden panic he had. He could feel that strange aura around the other, but struggled to ignore it. Though he couldn't help but feel panicked and worried himself.

Jack's eyes soon met Mark's concerned, brown eyes. For a moment, he had forgotten where he was. Then, he remembered. Mark. The Irishman let out a tiny sigh, giving a small nod of his head. "Yeah.. yeah, I think I'm okay," he replied quietly, a bit unsure of his own reply. What was that thing chasing me? It seemed familiar, somehow...
The green haired man forced a small smirk on his face. "You don't have to worry about me," he chuckled softly. "I get nightmares all the time. It's not unusual for me to have a nightmare every other night." It was a sad truth, Jack would admit. Nightmares becoming his normal reality. However, Jack felt that his nightmares were what kept him sane, in a weird way. He knew everything was going alright when he had a nightmare. It was almost a reality check for him in a way.

"Top of tha' mornin to ya, laddies!"

  • Mark was relieved when the other finally spoke. That told him that his Irish companion was doing well. "Good, you had me worried for a moment. Do you remember what the dream was about?" He asked. Lightly tilting his head in slight curiosity. Still keeping his brown eyes fixed on blue. "Of course I have to worry about you. It's my job after all, if I didn't worry... Then things wouldn't go right," he murmured. If he didn't care for Jack, then he probably would have left him in the alley to die by the hands of that man. Or he would have shunned away his feelings for him. And he could have possibly turned him in. But no, Mark had feelings. He was sensitive and soft towards what he deemed to be a friend of his. He was even more gentle if that friend is his lover. "You shouldn't be having nightmares. Are you sure you're okay?" He finally asked again.

The Irishman thought for a moment. The memory of the dream was already starting to turn fuzzy, but he could remember the gist of it. He shifted a little as he realized his foot was asleep. "I was being chased by.. something. When it caught me, it started talking, and these horrible images popped in my head.. Like, morbid, dark things..." Jack's mind went back to his dream.
Jack almost spaced out in thought of the dream, but he snapped back to reality when Mark asked if he was sure he was okay. For a second, Jack was hesitant to reply. Was he really okay? However, since he didn't want to worry Mark, he gave a small shrug of his shoulders. "I feel okay, I guess," he replied. "I don't know. The nightmares have always been a usual thing for me. I guess I never found it weird."

"Top of tha' mornin to ya, laddies!"

  • being chased? Mark was wondering what the other had been dreaming about, and he hoped he was alright. "Okay, I believe you," he murmured. Moving his lips against the others own in a gentle manner. Keeping the male close to him, before he pulled away. Allowing a soft yawn to leave his lips, moving his hand around to see what time it was. Checking his phone, he noticed that it was growing late. "Mm... What do you want to do now? We can do whatever you want," he playfully winked. Standing up to stretch out his body, allowing his hands to rise above his head. Before walking over to search for his glasses. Pulling them on and walking back over to the Irishman. "Bet you didn't know I had these, how do I look?" He asked. A cheeky smile plastered on his face.

Jack was relieved. It doesn't seem like he's freaked out by me yet. Jack wondered how long it would be before he did. The Irishman turned a little pink when he was kissed, a small smile curling the corners of his lips up. "I don't care what we do," he chuckled, his eyes twinkling. Jack was feeling a little hungry again... how long ago had he eaten? Not long ago, right?
Jack's eyes flickered with surprise when he saw Mark in his glasses. "I like them," he grinned. "You're cute in glasses." Jack had started to miss his own glasses. He wasn't too blind without them-- he just struggled to read things from far off sometimes. He missed being able to see clearly, though. However, Jack worried that he would be recognized if he wore his glasses.

"Top of tha' mornin to ya, laddies!"

  • "Come on, there has to be something you want to do. It's probably been a long time since you had done a certain activity. Just name it and I'll see what I can do," he really wanted Jack to say what he wanted to do. Because he wasn't sure of what the Irishman wanted. Amusement flooded through him when the other commented on his glasses. "Why thank you, but you're much cuter," he hummed. Deciding to walk over and sit down in front of Jack. "I'm also hungry so I really want to eat some food..." He grinned awkwardly in amusement. Moving his head over to kiss the others jaw. Allowing a soft hum to leave his lips as he did so. Still thinking and wondering about what he had seen while Jack was waking up. Maybe he blinked and that happened? Time will hopefully tell.

Jack tilted his head to the side a little, trying to think of something. Jack wouldn't mind going outside. Granted, he had been outside for the past few months. However, Jack never got the time to go strolling around freely. I don't think people would be able to recognize me... Maybe if we went for a stroll in the woods... "I don't know," he sighed gently. "I did kind of want to go outside for a walk. I haven't exactly been able to chill out since running away, y'know?"
Jack blushed a little when he called him cuter. Me? No.. I'm not cute. He snickered a little when Mark said he was hungry. "We could go eat somewhere if you'd like," he smiled a little. "I'm actually pretty hungry myself."

"Top of tha' mornin to ya, laddies!"

  • "A walk in the woods sounds lovely. That's what me and my brother used to do when we were younger," a soft smile formed on his lips as he thought about the past. What made his smile grow was when the other blushed due to him stating that Jack was more cute than him. "Awh, someone's embarrassed. You're absolutely adorable, you can't deny that," he cooed. Placing a gentle kiss on the others lips, nuzzling the other's forehead lightly. Half of him wanted to just pull and ravage the others lips, while the other part told him to give the male his space. "Going out to eat sounds nice. We could always bring it back here if you're not comfortable with sitting out in a restaurant," he hummed. His brown eyes still fixed on blue ones. Relishing in the color of his eyes, loving the way they glinted. The way they sparked and shined, which made his body melt from his gaze.

Jack's eyes lit up with excitement at the mention of being able to walk in the woods. He ducked his head a little when Mark mentioned he was embarrassed. "Psh.. I'm not embarrassed," he snorted. "Just.. not use being called 'cute'." Jack couldn't recall being called 'cute' before. His parents didn't particularly think much of him, after all, and he never had a legit relationship with someone else.
Jack got up. "Doesn't matter to me," he shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever you wanna do about eating." He ran a hand through his green hair. "Think I need to change before we go?" he asked, tilting his head to the side a little. "What's the weather like outside?"
