Evangeline smiled brightly when she saw her. "Gaia!"

Gaia walked over to Evangeline's side of the bed and jumped slightly, waving at her.

Evangeline waved back. "Is there any way for you to talk?" She asked curiously.

Gaia seemed to think for a moment before shrugging and making a writing motion using her petals.

Evangeline looked around. "Writing?"

Gaia nodded in reply; looking around for a moment, as if searching for a pencil and paper.

Evangeline frowned when she didn't see any.

Gaia seemed to think again for a moment before she ran out of the room and down the hall.

Evangeline watched her go curiously.

'Hey Evangeline, Gaia wants to speak for some reason. You don't mind if I help her out would you? It's a rather simple spell.' Death spoke in Evangeline's mind.

Evangeline jumped, having forgotten they could speak this way. 'Go ahead, love. Oh, will we've able to talk like this once I'm not... mortal anymore?'

'Of course we'll still be able to dear, all I'm going to be doing is strengthening my soul in your body. Pretty much, it's a bit more complicated but that's not important now.' Death went silent for a moment before he spoke again. 'She's on her way now.'

'oh okay." Evangeline smiled slightly. 'And thank you again.'

'No problem! Breakfast will be done soon by the way!' Soon the little noises of Gaia running downing the hall were audible as the pant raced into the room. 'Mistress!'

"Gaia?" Evangeline asked in delight.

The plant nodded excitedly, gently patting the side of the bed. 'Can you help me up please?'

Evangeline smiled and gently lifted her onto the bed. "Of course..."

'Yay!' Gaia clapped her leaves together as she sat in Evangeline's hands.
