In the year 2055, an desperate coalition was formed between the world's greatest powers in the wake of a shattering World War III, exhausting the planet's natural resources and placing humanity on the brink of certain collapse. Within this uneasy alliance, the Board of Interplanetary Colonial Establishment was born, intended to ensure a foothold for humanity outside its home world. Their first target, appropriately, was Earth's sister planet, Mars, which had not seen life upon its surface for millennia.

The first fleet arrived on Mars in the year 2060, beginning what would be titled the Genesis Project - the complete reconstruction of Mars to support a biosphere similar to Earth's before its crippling wars. It took approximately one hundred and fifty years for the atmospheric conditions of the planet to be considered safe for the dismantling of the life-zone shields erected around the colonies, and another fifty years for the project to reach intended culmination, in the year 2267. By this time, the settlements had grown and prospered, becoming their autonomous societies with little reliance on Earth, with whom it continued to trade resources and innovation.

Humanity might have expanded beyond Mars, had not matters at home done otherwise. The BICE organization that had held together the world powers had begun to fall apart in recent years, and it wasn't long until the Earth War, or the Last Terran War, erupted in 2310. Two years into this conflict, contact between Terra and its Mars settlements abruptly ceased, plunging the colonies into a state of confusion and panic. This would last until 2317, when the Genesis Federation of Mars finally restores order, followed by the rise of the Yan Nation.

For a while, there was peace. But then came the Red Fist - a brutal military organization bent on complete dominion over Mars. The GFM and the Yan tried to negotiate, but greed is a disease that knows no bounds. The Martian War began in the year 2343, the GFM and the Yan uniting a year later to combat this threat, and since then, battles have raged between the factions for nearly a century.

And now, a few individuals will soon find the fate of an entire world resting upon their shoulders...

Personality: Evan is a stereotypical introvert. He prefers to be part of a small group of people than a larger one or none at all. If he has to take part in war efforts at all, it will be as a spy. He hates to harm people if they don't deserve it, due to his strong sense of right and wrong. Sometimes, he is overwhelmed by how much hate and bitterness there is on his planet. He wishes he'd been born in 20th century Earth, and this is reflected in his dress sense. Evan is a kind person at heart, but tries not to show it. He's a quiet, almost invisible kind of person; this is what makes him such a good spy. He is more cautious than most, his fast mind calculating the risks of every mission. He's a realist. No other type of person will really hold up in the war.
History (optional): born to a pretty average family, an unknown incident severed all his contacts to them. He joined the secret service as soon as he was old enough. He has been on many missions since, but has someone managed to not kill anyone yet.

Personality:
"How does one describe me?" Bedda is a quiet girl for her usual cheerful attitude towards her family. Truthfully, the girl enjoys her time alone unless you're severely injured, or dying she would prefer being left alone; however, she is never granted such a luxury. Being a commander of her own squadron, she is needed whenever her superior is absent to settle a quarrel between soldiers or to assist others. Bedda, is actually very intellectual, and highly gifted when it came to creating artwork. Music? No can do. She can't write music. Drawing? She'll just need an idea and she'll get to work. Novels? She's had a few published during her middle school and part of her high school years. All in all, creativity wise, she's gifted.
If you're in need of a baby sitter and there is nobody else around find this girl, and she'll get the job done. She's much like a mother, being she's the one who cared for her and her twin brother, caring for her family and friends as if everyone where her own children. She'll treat everyone equally, and will do whatever she needs to to make sure everything is peaceful. But mind you, this woman does indeed have a temper. That's one thing to watch for. She's not hotheaded at first, unless she feels strongly for something; then, she'll snap and lash out. And her lashings are both physical and verbal. However, she usually leaves the room or area when her temper starts to spike past her control. All in all, Bedda is a sweetheart, annoyed with some, temper hidden girl who wishes for one thing. Bedda and Ari were born into an complicated and nonfunctional family of five (they were born members of an elite class of soldiers/old bloodline, parents weren't home often if at all) their mother and father never spent time with them during their early years of childhood, that is when they could walk and talk. Instead of being taught and raised by their parents they where raised by their older brother and his wife. During their early years, around their fifth birthday, their mother died from cancer and their father realized he had forgotten about his two young children and his twenty year old son who had raised his siblings as if they were his own. After their mothers death, their father began to change his act and took his place as their father again, though, he grieved over the loss of his one true love, he raised Bedda and Ari till they had turned thirteen and he fell ill while working one day. Bedridden, their father was slowly progressing with his illness, a common cold turned lethal, and through the years they, along with their brother, his wife and their nephew took care of him for a year till he died during one summer night. The cold that he had fallen under the previous year had finally taken his life and returned him to the side of his one true love. Hardened by the loss of both their parents, Nahi vowed to protect his baby sister till she found the one who would take care of her till his last breath while Bedda was hardened by grief for the loss of her beloved mother and father, she learned to hide her true feelings. After their parents death, their older brother Matthew took them in and looked after them as they grew up with their nephew. Soon as the loss of their parents and being taken in by their brother, the twins soon found out their brother had leukemia and soon enough they were orphaned completely because he couldn't take care of them anymore, which returned the duo back to orphanage when they were nearing the age of fourteen. When they were about sixteen, the twins returned to the military forces that promised them a position in the good graces of their parents names and memory, they have been there ever sense then. After a year had passed and they were officially welcomed into their factions military, the twins were called into a meeting on their seventeenth birthday to be told their parents never died from their "illnesses", but rather had been taken from them to build their strength up because (for their family) to believe they had nobody else but each other made them stronger than others, more willing and able to work no matter the cost. Livid, the twins disappeared for a few months before they returned like nothing happened, explaining everything to Nahi through cryptic messages and codes that the three could communicate without trouble through.

Ari is a sweet, kind hearted, and funny young man. His family will always say that he is a goofball and that whenever they feel beaten he always end up making them laugh and smile. Also, Ari can be a very serious and hard man when needed, but not many know if this. He also hides a hidden temper which resulted in him assaulting a neighbor just after moving back into the orphanage when he and his twin were fifteen house thus leading to his previous jail time because of it, this was expunged by a judge later on.
