    tho, after reading the events in moonrise, I'm leaning more towards Feathertail since she feels like she was something more than just a "love interest" than Silverstream ??

    I would have to say...Firestar. Primarily because I grew up reading books that revolved mainly around him and I idolized him because of his bravery/courage that I severely lacked as a middle schooler. I still remember how he still ventured outside of a kittypet's comfort zone and faced so many challenges in his life (or should I say lives *wiggles eyebrows*) that he could have avoided simply by going back to his two-legs. He doesn't regret it either and I just....it makes me admire him even more.


    Jaypaw (edit: I mean jayfeather) would also have to be one of my favorite character as well. His sight impairment is what naturally hooked me in and not because I felt sorry for him, but because I never was exposed to a person that's blind (please keep in mind that I'm not trying to offend anyone!!! i was a middle schooler and right now i'm spouting my feelings at the time when i was a young ignorant chickpea). However, his path as a medicine cat would be the primary attribute that made me fall in love with the dork. It was a path that I was unfamiliar with and intrigued as he learns about healing ailments. Lemme' just say I would not make a good medicine cat.


    My feelings for these characters haven't changed in terms of fondness to them due to nostalgia.

    I myself am not that big on Scourge (that's really the Erins fault for portraying him as a child-turned-killer.) I understand he had a bad time, but I find it hard to believe that some horrible siblings and a chance encounter gone wrong could turn him into a bloodthirsty murderer. I think they were trying to establish that no one is born evil, but eh... With that said, I don't hate him, but I don't necessarily like him, either. I think he's largely favored by the fandom, which is part of the reason why I'm glad I didn't fall into the rut of "omg he's the greatest villain ever." He wasn't even really a villain, he was just in the story for the sake of having an easy way out of killing Tigerstar the first time. A cat who could strip a leader of all 9 lives, and make him lay on the ground, dying 9 friggin' times? sure.



    Moving onto Bluestar. I know a lot of people hated her because of her mental breakdown, but honestly, that just makes me love her more. She is by far my favorite leader (and easily #1 on my list of favorite characters overall), and the reason for this is because she was just so relatable. She was wonderful during the start, but after Tigerclaw's betrayal, she became paranoid, and crazy. I would too if I had almost been killed by the person I thought I could trust, who also happened to kill my most trusted companion (Redtail.) She redeemed herself during her death, and showed just how much she really cared for her Clan, and especially of her kits and Fireheart. She was fantastic, and I adore her to bits.


    As for Yellowfang, Cinderpelt and Spottedleaf. Well, it's pretty self explanatory why they're my favorites. I loved Yellowfang the moment she met Firepaw, and I cried like a baby when she died. I loved the "son I wish I had" dynamic between the two.

    @rinnie Bluestar reminded me too much of a mother and that's probably why I never got to truly like her as a character. She seemed so out-of-touch or at least that's how I felt about her during her time as a leader. I never got to love her in the end.
