Fifteen children between the ages of fourteen and seventeen were brought into the woods.
The purpose of this was unknown.

All that is known is that this life will be harsh and bloody and cruel.

Summary:
Fifteen kids were abducted from their homes in Canada and America, kidnapped seemingly at random by people in black body armor. Some of the teens were surprised or tranquilized from far away, others fought back, but the result was the same; Waking up here, a deep and foreboding forest. They must survive, and hopefully thrive- though how they do so is up to them. As they were all abducted from many walks of life they all will most likely have many different views and personalities- this could and probably will cause conflict within the group itself. As of now survival is the main goal, but as to how many will actually achieve it- well, its up to you.
In World Rules:
Okay. So I've decided to do something a bit different with this group than what I would normally do. While I will stress and encourage social interaction and conversation between characters, I also want to focus on the actual survival aspect of this survival rp. Thus Stats. So. Time to explain this a bit.
Health:
Every character has a health out of twenty. (although they can come to the island already damaged if they fought back against their capture) This represents their physical state of being. If they reach zero then they are dead. They can heal by having a full hunger stat by the end of the day, or by medicine. Certain things can do more damage than others. For example, stubbing your toe wouldn't even effect your health stat. But getting punched in the face several times would most likely minus your health a bit. (say -3 HP?) Whereas getting thrown off a cliff would just kill you altogether.
Hunger:
Hunger is a pretty important stat that you might be tempted to forget about- that with your 'tribe' mates trying to kill you and all-but it can be the difference between life and death. Eating 3 average meals a day will give a +1 bonus to your health. (though the max is still 20) Eating two meals a day will keep your health from decreasing, and only eating one meal will decrease your health by only 0.5. Not eating a meal will decrease your health by one, and everyday you go without a meal will increase that number by one. This is a pretty efficient way to kill yourself. So if your character doesn't have any particular inclination towards forging or hunting, you might want to pair up with someone who does.
Sanity:
Sanity is very handy to have. (But I'm sure you already knew that) It keeps your character from acting like an absolute nutter. Traumatizing events or near death situations will lower your characters sanity, but it can be brought back up by friends and family being there for your character. (you loner types watch out!)

Strength:
How strong your character is naturally. (With my permission it may increase over time) Strength is helpful much of the time- building shelters, collecting resources, hunting, fighting. Every object had their own stats though. SO if your character saw a old log and decided to push it around for some reason, you'd have to ask me about how heavy the tree is. If its like a 4/5 and your character only has 3/5 strength they can't push it. Same goes for combat, although a higher strength only means that your physically stronger, not smarter, more experienced, or more agile.

Out Of World Rules:
Please read through these carefully- I know it can be a bit boring but trust me its not for you-its for that fuckwad over there who can't tell the difference between describing things and Powerplaying.
1. Proper grammar please. I aware we all make mistakes, and trust me- I'm not exactly a grammar wiz or anything- but it doesn't take that much time to do, and it's a lot nicer to read.
2. Keep your panties out of a twist. Remain civil even when angry and don't start any fights out of character.
3. I don't wanna see any racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, or any other small minded attitudes. Any and all of these will get you kicked the fuck out, and fast.
4. Swearing is obviously okay- this isn't exactly a rp made for children, that with all the death and all.
5.Follow all WCRPG rules.
6.Don't be inactive!
7.Try to keep the genders around even. It doesn't have to be perfect but y'know. Try.
8. Fill out four form with lots of juicy details! Because if I find it lacking you might not get in.
9.Respect what I say. As a general I will be acting as a god for this world deciding what happens and what's fair. Suggestions and votes are more than welcomed though!
10. Don't make your character too cliche or Mary/Gary sue-ish.
11. Try to be realistic with your characters reactions. Even badasses should have their weak moments.
12. Not all backstories have to be emo and sad, and neither do all characters.
13. Make sure your stats aren't too crazy or anything. You can't have all fives and fours.
14.Plus some characters should have shitty stats, because well, some people aren't very good at anything.
15. And most of all, have fun! (but actually all that other stuff should probably be your top priority)
Map:
A little explanation on movement: Your character can only more one grid square per day at maximum. Of course the terrain of the land, your characters physical and mental health, and how much speed and stamina they have can greatly affect how far you actually get. The map below provides an easy way to see how far your character would be able to get. Say you have a 4 in speed and a 2 in stamina. Your speed will allow you to move four sections over, but since your stamina is below average your character will be severely tired and unable to function by the time they get there. This is to say: Speed effects how far you can go, and Stamina controls how exhausted you will be when you get there. (Don’t underestimate Stamina- being tired by the end of your journey could seriously alter any plans of attack your character might have had, and alter their judgment that might be needed.) If you were to have a high Stamina and a low speed you could go short distances without being tired, which allows you to embark again and again.
Lakes, mountains, marshes, rivers, grassland, snow fields, leafy and pine forests alike, they all have their own sets of hazards. You can be easily spotted in grasslands or snowfields, (by humans and predators alike!) Lakes cannot be crossed (even if you are a good swimmer) without a boat-which you would have to make- and who knows what lurks under their murky depths. Mountains are nay unpassable, and quite dangerous and cold. Marshes are muddy wet and miserable to try to pass through, and although some rivers could technically be crossed, it’s not exactly recommended to jump into the loving arms of viscous rapids. Leafy forests while filled with food, are also filled with other predators, and could eventually become home to other humans because of their prosperity. Pine forest, along with snow fields, are typically colder, and with less animals that you can hunt, and more than will hunt you. Bears, moose, (and if you think a moose won’t fuck your day right up than you have never actually been to a country with moose) and wolves.

Tall, broad shouldered and generally bulking looking, Alex is a bit of a mammoth. She's unusually big for most girls her age, and really most boys as well. She's built up strong muscle and while she does take up a large area, is not fat. Her hair is a fiery orangish-red, curly and usually quite messy. Alex doesn't care much for grooming or tiding or so called 'brushes'. She usually wears plaid and worn jeans, an extra large hoodie if its cold out. PERSONALITY
Alexandra doesn't take shit from nobody. She's loud often abrasive, rude- and quite open about her belief's. Alex isn't one to let others do the work for her, and will take it as a personal insult if you try to help her or pity her in anyway. She's stubborn as a mule made out of steel and rarely changes her mind, even if she really should. She doesn't trust easily, and has a real 'survival of the fittest' attitude. She doesn't like to broad cast feelings of weakness, but you'll know when she's angry. If she were a dog her bite would be just as terrifying as her bark- Alex sure as shit don't make idle threats. Alex is good at living day to day, but often doesn't plan too far ahead. She's not dumb by any means, but has a sort of 'we'll deal with it then' vibe. She trusts her gut often and will like or hate a person depending on raw feelings rather than logic.Alexandra has severe anger issues and is prone to snapping at others, usually with violence. In turn she always expects others to respond with violence when they are angry. In spite of her demeanor Alex is afraid, she doesn't want to die- not when sacrificed so much just to survive.
HISTORY
Alex wasn't always this big- no she hit her growth spurt at fourteen; before that she was a little smaller than average. She had a mother and father. They lived in the woods of Canada BC, with a abnormal amount of dogs (she loved each and every one of them- even Vern who bit) and four brothers. She was the second youngest out of them. Her mother and father had a complicated relationship, they weren't exactly in love- they both had too many gaping flaws for that- but they were good friends. Her father was shortsighted, stuck in his ways and often disgruntled or angry. But he still taught her how to cook hot dogs on a fire properly, how to hunt and fish, and took every single one of her drawings to his work- she loved him. Her mother spaced out often, was a bit flighty, a bit cowardly, and often dramatic or unhappy. But she still sang her 'Goodnight moon' every night, and showed her how to cook blueberry pie, and brushed her hair. She felt pretty and loved with her mother. Their marriage's stability was sustained more out of respect and duty than love and trust, but they were happy enough for awhile. Alexandra loved playing with her brothers, and her dogs- neither of which had any problem teaching her typically non-girly activities. (To this day Alex might growl if really mad, it should be funny really, but it's actually fucking terrifying.) As probably the smallest she was pushed around quite a bit, but she din't mind, she was a big girl after all. Tough as nails.
Her mother left one day. No one knew why, if she wanted something more, or if she decided they simply weren't worth the effort. her father was angry-so angry. He had never wanted kids either, but he had stayed loyal, he had never left. She had got the easy way out. At first he refused to drink- his father had been a drunk, and a mean one- he never wanted to hurt his children like his father had. But as life got harder and harder without her there, and as his kids got older and older and more troublesome he broke. He drank one night. Every drop of alcohol in the house. He decided he wanted to get more and stumbled towards the doors, frantically searching for the keys. But Alexandra was in the way. They yelled at each other, and eventually his yelling was accompanied with his fists. He called her terrible things that night, and he smashed her ruby red glasses- claiming she was costing them a fortune by wearing them- calling her weak and pathetic. And then he left.
That night he parked his car in the middle of the road, walked into the forest and shot himself.
Alex lived with her brothers. She din't wear her glasses, she din't go to the hospital, she din't get stitches. But it was fine, because she was a big girl. Tough as nails.
After that she lived with her eldest brother. Her went to school in the city. She had a bit of a bullying problem, so she trained herself to be able to handle her bullies herself. Her growth spurt helped. People still talked about her of course, but nobody ever tried to fight her again. She told herself she was happy.

HISTORY
Cody was born to a single mother. His older sister was about four years old upon his birth, and she had been meant. He, however, was the result of a one night stand, and his sister made sure he knew that. They lived peacefully for five years, their mother working all day (at home) to ensure they had enough money. When Cody was five years old and his sister Ava was nine, their mother, Ellie, found someone. She proclaimed her love quite early on in the relationship to her children, and, not knowing exactly what she meant, both Cody and Ava were happy for her. Another five years came and went. Cody was ten and Ava was fourteen. At this point, Ava and Cody had drifted apart. She'd hit puberty, and so he learnt to leave her alone at certain points of each month. Other than that, she was off with her friends while he stayed at home. They had a step-father now. Ellie had married a man named Harry, and they were supposedly happy. Ava was staying over a friend's, when Cody discovered his mother sobbing. If you went into Dame's history. You would find one alternating from happy and preppy moments, To those that made the world seem like it was shattering. For young Dame had been born to a lovely family. Sure, They didn't have money. But from the fragments of memories Dame had at the time. He remembered being happy. He remembered his mothers smile, He remembered his fathers worried frown. He remembered them looking down at papers and being upset. Alas, He had only been young at the time and not completely understood what was happening. Only later in life did he realize they, At the time they could not care for a deaf child. A fact that made Dame angry at first, But he came to terms with it.
Dame remembered after. He had been taken away, Clutching in his hands his favorite stuffed animal. After that he was moved around a bit. The only thing that kept the memory of his mother in his mind at that age, Was the familiar little Siamese plushy that had come with him. Eventually the moving stopped! He found himself placed in a lovely little home. One owned by a wealthy man who already had two children of his own. Then the rest? Well, It was as much of any other childhood you could imagine. Dame was quickly accepted as a sibling among them. They quickly all figured out how to speak among each other- Though Dame lacked any words he could hear or say. Even when the three grew from children too teenagers. They still stuck together. Didn't matter with what, It was like they were joined at the hip! But.. Then, Things changed. Dame was taken away, Not to be placed in a new home. No This time the intent behind it was far.. Far worse..

He is a very short young man with fluffy black hair that reaches about medium length, halfway down his neck. He has a scar or two on his knees from nasty scrapes and his skin bruises easily. HISTORY
Miles lived together alone with his mother who absolutely babied Miles and was always there to take care of problems for him. He became so reliant on his mother that he became very spoiled and expectant of her to do everything for him. Tulips is a small and slightly rounded person, almost like a human marshmallow. She's a bit chubby but doesn't seem to care, or expect anyone else to. She had light fluffy blonde hair, which she doesn't really deal with, other than putting some flowers in it. (it's almost feather like, and gives her a 'small bird-like' quality) She dresses in bright colors, usually preferring to wear things that give her legs more movement, like sundresses. She often goes bare feet, and thus has built up calluses and an immunity to hard ground, really the only survival technique she has going for her.She has light sky blue eyes that are rather large, and a tan body.
PERSONALITY
Tulips would much rather talk things out and make peace than fight anybody. She's peaceful, preferring nature and laughter over expensive clothes or popularity. She never starts fights, and the only way she'll be ending them is through pleading or negotiation. She tries her best not to appear mean or rude to others, which in turn can make her a bit of a pushover. She can be easily interrupted, dismissed or straight up bullied without her responding or attempting to fight back. She's a bit of a doormat. Luckily this had made her pretty hardy when it comes to insults. She's not sensitive and will often shake off insults, or respond with kind words. She values others a lot more than she values herself, and will spend most of her time trying to help them. This actually has a pretty negative effect on her self-worth and how she thinks others perceive her. She thinks of herself as stupid and naive- and though she is naive, she's not stupid. (Tulips very rarely breaks down in anger or sadness, but it will happen- and it won't be pretty)She makes friends quickly, and will pretty much put up with anything, meaning she can be pushed and manipulated easily.In the end Tulips will always lend a helping hand, attempt to be kind, and is extremely loyal to her friends.
HISTORY
Tulips was born in a sort of modern hippie community, a group of people living in one huge farmhouse out in thee country, encouraging tolerance and peace. They din't all do drugs, although Tulips did meet one old man who smoked and made his own pot. Anyway. She had a very fun, carefree, and loving childhood. Her parents took care of her, and really so did the whole group. All the children played together, exploring the woods and ponds, laughing over their daily chores. She had several cats and dogs, goats, sheep, a parrot, fifteen goldfish, and a skunk named 'Billy', all owned by the group as a whole. She was taught peace, kindness, hard work, and loyalty. Her life was easy, and she made friends with most of the other children. She was quite bright, especially when it came to art, and (contrary to popular belief) math. Her parents let her go to a regular school, mostly because they knew she loved making new friends. But not everyone appreciated her attitude. There were quite a few people who mocked her, teased her, and even physically harassed her. At one point it started to move into straight up beating her up, and sexual harassment, so she left the school. She was schooled after that- and everything went back to the way it was supposed to be. Peaceful and serene. Then she was captured and brought here.

Áine (Prefers to be called Lee) is rather normal, as she wasn't a body builder or aything. However, despite her long, straight black hair and half shaved head, she doesn't have an excess of piercings or tattoos, although she does have a small heart on her inner wrist and normal earrings. With icy blue eyes as a contrast to her tanned skin, she was targeted and so foolishly bullied before she finally became a fighter. That decision let to many scars and fresh bruises on her body, those wounds not leaving when she was captured. She could be described as "pretty" but it's not the type of "pretty" you would call a woman in her finest clothes. She's got a certain fire in her eyes, that can't help but attract your attention, and a lot of unwanted attention too. In short, she is not a girl you would casually call "beautiful" or "submissive".
PERSONALITY
Lee is (obviously) competitive. She is the type of person to only follow orders if you beat her into respecting you, which is not always easy. Even though she is so outwardly aggressive, close-minded, and nonchalant, she is truly weak mentally. She will bottle her feelings up until she breaks and that is the only time you will get to see her true feelings, and witness her portraying any sign of weakness. Pressure only makes this fake hot-head better, as the nervousness translates into her working more efficiently and helps her to concentrate. She likes to have everything organized, always easy to access and in perfect condition, especially when working. Although she tries to hide her more social side, she can't help but be witty, and sarcastic which seems to help aid her in finding new allies/friends. Although she isn't exactly the "brains" or "bronze" of the group, she can always figure out ways to beat her opponents, and is a naturally quick thinker. She has had some exposure to medical experience so she can always counter-act as a minor medic on short notice. She can't be perfect, but she sure as hell can try.
HISTORY
No, she hasn't had as much of a shit past as some of the other people she has met, but her's wasn't exactly peachy either. Growing up in Blackpool, Ireland was a simple life, and it wasn't full of tragedy in such a small village, so it was perfect for raising a child, right? Wrong. When her father passed because of terminal cancer, her Mother couldn't bear the loss and dumped her child off with her sister, in Canada. After that, she was still allowed to visit her mother (who wasn't cruel or anything of the sort), but her Aunt had legal custody of her. There in Canada, her Aunt never had time for a child, and certainly didn't have a proper way to escort her home, so Lee had to stay with her in the Hospital, in the ER wing. Lee wasn't exposed to any illness, but she could watch her aunt work from the windows in the office. It took her far too long to ask her Aunt if she would teach her the ropes of emergency medicine. They both would stay late, discussing the art of Medicine, and she learned a lot. One night, a man came in, requesting medical attention. The nurses and doctors began to question why, but all he would say was "Let me in, I'm hurt". Some of the Staff began to urge him out of the door, but before they could, he pulled a gun on them. No one was injured, no casuallties, but Lee's Aunt seemed to think that it was terrible for a child to have to see that. After a while, her Aunt began to grow distant, and eventually gave the permission for Lee to walk home instead of staying in the ER. Lee never understood why this was, but never questioned it.
