    Alena Iliad Azar §
    dragon — anael —

Alena slipped in next to her brother in the group. She seemed to have missed a couple of introductions. She offered a polite smile to Lukos as he introduced himself & a wondering gaze on his dragon, he was incredibly impressive.''I am Alena and this is--'' Alena cut herself off with a sigh as she saw Anael was deliberately ignoring the group, head turned away as he disinterestedly watched the clouds float across the sky. ''Forgive me, he is...normally like this.'' Alena sighed a hint of defeat in her voice as her gloved hand tapped at her cheek. ''This is Anael.'' Alena tried again,''be nice,'' Alena chided her dragon quietly in her head. Anael huffed, a plume of smoke rising from his nostril, ignoring her & not even bothering to acknowledge the rest of the group or their dragons. Alena mentally groaned, she knew it was an act as Anael had been excited when they had been heading here.''We are honored to be here.'' Alena finished folding her hands neatly behind her back.

    dragon — memphis —

Vincent grinned at the formality in her tone & at his sister's misfortune, he knew Anael could be a bit of a handful at times. It seemed it was his turn to introduce himself, once again, as more people had showed up. Their team was proving to be a fairly large one but he was excited at the chance to see all the different dragons & people.''I'm Vincent and this is Memphis.'' he introduced once again smiling charmingly at the new faces in the group. Memphis who had slipped off to explore & circle curiously around the new dragons, eagerly bounced back toward Vincent, much more eager to greet the team then Anael was. Sparks glittered in Memphis's mouth as he opened it in the parody of a smile, fangs shining in the light. ''He's excited.'' Vincent offered sheepishly running a hand through his white locks.

  • Ayla couldn’t help but watch as the others presented themselves in formal introductions. As she did so she kept an eye on the elf before her that had approached her, he wondered what he would say. When Lukos had introduced himself, she couldn’t help but look at the beauty of his luxurious white dragon, it had been the first time she had seen one before. She then took note of the more prideful looking female named Sage who had strutted to the center after the man. Ayla couldn’t help but feel the female seemed stuck up and haughty, she made a note to avoid her. Then, were the two other elves who seemed to be siblings, based on their small resemblance towards each other. She lifted her hand up a bit as if to hide a giggle, but even if she was in the act of a giggle, it couldn’t be heard. She found Memphis to be a very cute dragon and would love to interact with him. She hesitantly looked about, it was only a few of them now that had to go, including a girl who had just arrived to the group. Aysrilth, on the other hand, didn’t pay much attention to anyone; instead he blew streams of air from his nostrils and watched how the trees trembled in the gust. She wondered if he would even present himself when she had to go. She then turned back to Sehihal.

@chat café Make sure to read Ayla's response on the previous page, she's still paying attention here, just observing others as I wait for your response. ^^

  • [fancypost=background: transparent; width: 500px; font-size: 14px; font-family: microsoft tai le; text-align: justify;]Ruvaen nodded once more towards the two who looked a lot alike. He wondered if they were related in some way, but decided to save those kinds of questions for later. He admired the other’s dragons; they were quite magnificent to say the least. “It is very nice to meet you all.” He held out his hand to shake everyone’s but noticed that some seemed to be missing. A ways away, he noticed a girl standing farther who had been speaking to the abrasive one who introduced herself as Sage. He wasn’t sure if she was here with them, but saw her impressive black dragon, and knew she must be here as a warrior. “Excuse me! I take you are here with us Warriors? Come and introduce yourself to everyone!” He wanted everyone to finish their introductions before he himself had said his greetings and introduced Ganymede. Ganymede himself seemed to notice the amount of dragons increasing, and assumed his puff out chest stance once again. He would not let himself loose a potential fight, nor would he show weakness to any others who dared challenged him.

Sage stood impatiently. When were these damn pleasantries going to end? She did not have all day to spend here chit chatting with her new "team members." Her concern was that the leader had yet to show themself, and this shell of a man seemed to be taking the reins in their place. All she knew was that whoever took her spot as the leader of this ragtag group of misfits (as she so affectionately referred to them as) better be much better than her at fighter, or she was going to challenge them immediately. Isle shoved her with his tail as he swiftly made his way over to lay next to her. She stumbled over then leaned annoyingly and arrogantly against a decaying wooden fence. Isle himself apologized for the rudeness of his Rider in the future, and greeted them politely.

  • sorry having troubles, I am having to redo my post on a words and then hoping the register after copy and past for them to show up as posted

  • ooc: Sorry @chat café I'm going to move on.

With a sigh, Ayla moved off from Aysrilth’s forearm which she had sat upon and moved to the center. He looked at the male elf that she had first introduced herself too and hoped he would help as he had knew of her muteness. It was a somewhat nervous glance though she didn’t really enjoy having to rely on someone for such a task. Was he even paying attention? She faced the crowd, keeping a stern poker face so that it wouldn’t further her own embarrassment. Her hands fiddled in her pockets as she gathered the parchment with her and her dragons name on it. She gave a light bow, glancing at Ruvaen again before looking back to the crowd. Aysrilth watched his rider attentively, she was the only one he really paid attention too. If they dared to mock her they would feel his wrath. His eyes looked to the male elf with the dragon who kept puffing its chest out and with precision he blew a small gust of air at the man. The air was enough to make Ruvaen stumble a bit but not fall.

    dragon — anael —

Alena blinked as the elf came forward & showed a piece parchment to the group she spied a pair of names on it in delicate script. She assumed it was the name of the elf & her dragon as the female bowed & backed away. ''Can she speak?'' Alena wondered curiously. She sent a small smile Ayla's way & a nod of acknowledgment. Anael, while still pretending to be disinterested in the proceedings, kept a sharp eye on the other riders. He did not like the cocky & arrogant way Sage held herself & sensed she would be one to start trouble the quickest in their group. He grumbled & pushed his simmering feelings of suspicion onto Alena. She hardly twitched at the heavy feeling of Anael's suspicion, she was already weary of the female even though she'd been polite when Alena had greeted her earlier. ''speech''thought — text —

    dragon — memphis —

Ayla Fawn & Aysrilth Vincent read from the parchment with slight confusion. ''Is she mute?'' Vincent wondered privately, he was a bit confused on how that would work out with the team but he was confident that they would work it out eventually. Vincent grinned brightly in her direction before his attention was snagged by his dragon. Memphis had noticed the green flying dragon's puffed out chest & was mocking him. He'd sidled up next the the dragon puffing out his own scaled chest in an exaggerated manner. ''stop antagonizing.'' Vincent scolded his dragon slightly but huffed a chuckle at the display.

//sorry for the short post !

  • [fancypost=background: transparent; width: 500px; font-size: 14px; font-family: microsoft tai le; text-align: justify;]Ruvaen looked to Ayla and back to the two who seemed related. "I believe she is." He didn't necessarily want to speak for her, but also wanted to help her introduce herself. He was about to say something until he felt a gust of wind break his stance. He did not know where it could have come from, until he saw Ayla's dragon looking at him. He wasn't sure why but he smiled a bit in his confusion. Ganymede, on the other hand, was insulted. He trotted up to the dragon and blew his own smoke-ladened gust of air at the dragon, right in his face. He wasn't going to let some know-it-all land dragon do that. Ruvaen wasn't as insulted, and frowned at his companion. "Ganymede, no..."

  • Ayla was glad that the others had caught on so quickly to her impairment. She returned a small smile to Alena, acknowledging the gesture. As Vincent sent her a bright yet silly grin, in her opinion, she seemed to brighten up a bit as the weight of being mocked for her disability had been lifted. She was glad that some of them were friendly and she could already tell the not-so-friendly ones apart so she didn’t have to be hurt by their rudeness. She turned to go back to Aysrilth but was distracted by Vincent’s dragon who was openly mocking the male elf that had yet to introduce himself’s dragon. It was quite funny but she would take that the man’s dragon wouldn’t find it funny. She hadn’t been paying attention to Aysrilth so she was confused when she saw the behavior the green flying dragon displayed towards him. Her brow furrowed as she could sense trouble brewing. A snarl ripped from Aysrilth’s throat as the dimwitted flying dragon blew a gust of air purposefully directed at his face before him. He rose to his feet, ready to confront the dragon as he wouldn’t stand for such blatant insult. “You insolent fool!” Aysrilth chided at the dragon in their native tongue as he lunged forward, knocking into the dragon. Though, all Ayla and everyone else heard was a slight roar as the massive bodies collided into each other. Panic breached her face as she tried to stop Aysrilth, but this was a risky action as the large beasts could accidental hurt them.

    Alena Iliad Azar §
    dragon — anael —

Alena startled at the roar, a dagger slipping easily into her hand. More out of surprise than any real desire to attack as she'd been distracted watching her brother's dragon & attempting to convince Anael that his act was overdone & unnecessary. Anael, who had been watching, was on his feet in a second a low growl rumbling in his chest. He'd seen the interaction that'd passed between the two dragons & hoped it wouldn't escalate to anything bigger, but the thrill of a fight still sparked in his blood. Alena winced, maybe having so many unfamiliar dragons in one place wasn't the best idea. ''Anael, see if you can break them apart.'' Alena ordered quietly. Eagerly Anael shot a fairly small ball of fire between the dragons, aimed carefully away from the humans, in an attempt to get the two dragons to separate.

    dragon — memphis —

Vincent took a step back as the huge scaled bodies of the dragons crashed together. ''This is going very well.'' Vincent sighed sarcastically to himself. Memphis crackled a noise of agreement sparks dancing from his jaw. 'No.' Vincent said firmly to Memphis through their bond, feeling his desire to join the fight. Stopping the fight was more important, a fireball passed by showing that his sister was already a step ahead. 'Careful' Vincent murmured to Memphis in case the dragons turned their fire their way.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color: transparent; width: 400px; border: 1px; border color: transparent][align=justify][font=georgia]Lukos nor Lux had expected any of the dragons to fight, but here it was. The pair simultaneously took a few cautious steps in the opposite direction, wanting to be as far as possible from the scaly beasts. Dragons were generally wise creatures, but also prideful and stubborn, so the surprise they both felt was not as intense as it would be to someone unfamiliar to dragons. Neither of them made any attempts to break the scuffle, as that job was seemingly already being handled by Alena and her scaly partner. "What a turn of events this is; I did not expect a simple meet and greet to be so... exciting," Lukos spoke. A chuckle escaped his lips not long after he spoke.

  • [fancypost=background: transparent; width: 500px; font-size: 14px; font-family: microsoft tai le; text-align: justify;]"Ganymede, stop it!" Ruvaen had to move himself out of the way as Ganymede stumbled due to the land dragon's large body. Ganymede was about to blow his own ball of fire, until he saw a flash of a flame come in between them. This did not stop him from giving a loud snarl towards the other dragon. Ruvaen quickly stood in front of Ganymede. He might have been taking a chance, but he was sure that Ganymede would never hurt him. Ganymede still had smoke leaking from his large nostrils as Ruvaen reassured him through their connection. "My sincerest apologies, Ayla."
    [center]---

Sage almost clapped, this was so entertaining. She had been hoping for something to happen since they had arrived there, and boy did she get a show. However, how was it expected for them to work together if their own dragons couldn't even get along. "Well, not that that is over, is there any way we can get past the introductions? I'm quite tired."

  • Aysrilth instinctively backed away when the fireball hurled pass them, he looked to see the direction it had come from before turning back to Ganymede, scoffing in anger. Ayla, however, once the dragons were separated reached to her dragon at his leg as she attempted to calm down Aysrilth through touch. Aysrilth looked down to his rider who he could feel at his leg, before gently nudging her away. He then turned away from the group and walked off himself into the forest that stood around them, his large body slowly disappearing in the trees with only his footsteps which could be heard. Ayla wanted to give chase after her dragon who had left her and the meeting but she saw the look in his eyes. Even if she went to get him, he wouldn’t come back and there was nothing she could do to change his mind. Aysrilth wanted to be alone and he would let nothing change his mind until he did so himself. She watched his form disappear before wearily turning back to the party at the camp. She felt ashamed and embarrassed and quickly bowed to them all as she couldn’t express her gratitude and regret.
