[fancypost=background: transparent; line-height: 15px; width: 400px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;]I NEED A HERO: after the death of his parents, dick doesn't know where to turn. he feels weak and alone, and he needs someone to support him and help him through this. while friends have tried their best, the real person dick needs right now is the same person he had just lost: a father. finally, the father figure enters his life and begins to take care of him, training him in fighting and stability. he teaches dick about important fatherly things, like serving justice, becoming a superhero, the works. but he also teaches dick how to be a part of a family again, even if it's just the two of them.

TO ME: after recovering from the trauma of the murder of his parents, dick realizes that the thing he most wants now is to put the man who killed them away. along with the rest of the mafia that the guy worked for. dick organizes a team of crimefighting cool kids (of which he is the head) and sets out to right the world with them.

NIGHTWING: while the organization is still going strong, dick realizes teamwork isn't his thing anymore. he breaks off from the group and becomes his own justice: nightwing.
