    Maybe it was the stress of the new responsibility weighted on his shoulders or being struck by summoned lightning, but whatever it was, it revved up another splitting headache. "Fuck," muttered Nefarious quietly, pausing for a moment on his way over towards the doctors' house, shaking his head slightly. The herbs weren't helping anymore and he was afraid to take too much more in case it would only end up hurting him. It wasn't a normal headache, it felt like something was trying to rip from him.


    The black dipped feline took a step forward to continute on his path to Aris and Bones before coming to a halt again, a strangled snarl ripping from him as another wave of blinding pain made him collapse. He could hear the bone cracking as his skull broke apart to reshape itself. Nef brought his paws up to his head, pressing them against a tiny wound that had split open on his forehead, blood streaming down his face.

    It was the snarl that awoke the doctor, the scent of Nefarious and slight blood was what sent him 'running' out the door. Well, running was one way to put it. It was more of a frantically quick hobble if one had to describe it. "Nef? Nef what happened?" His first reaction had been to ask if he was okay but it was obvious he wasn't at this point. The doctor ended up falling down the steps of their house before getting up and giving the leader a look over. Looks like Aris became a mother hen.

    He writhed, twisting on the ground as he clamped his paws down tightly on his forehead like the motion would stop the pain, stop whatever was breaking his skull into pieces. "Ff-" uttered Nefarious, only able to get out the hints of a word in between hurried gasps for air. Another few loud cracks of bone and it seemed like the reshaping, at least, was over, though the pain still persisted.
