"Oh do you really? Because you aren't showing it!" Rose said. She backed away from him. "Have fun screwing him." She added. She walked away from him.

Dave ran after her. "Rose, no.. I do love you.." He said sadllly.

Rose turned and looked back at him with tears in her eyes. "No you don't. If you loved me you wouldn't be seeing him. Just leave me alone Dave." She said. Her tears began to fall.

Dave moved back. "You don't understand.." He said frowning deeply. "I didn't mean to hurt you.." He said.

"Sure you didn't." Rose said quietly. She didn't cry often. She only cried when things really hurt her. She hurried away from him. She hugged herself.

"Rose! W-Wait.." Dave watched her leave and tried to reach out for her. Eventually he just went into his house and just, sat down.

Rose only came back to get her things. She ignored him the entire time. She walked out once again. She couldn't believe him. After all they had done together and all of the times they said they loved each other, it all seemed to be a lie.

A few weeks passed before some faitful day someone came knocking on her door. It was Karkat.

Rose had stayed back at her old apartment. She heard the knock on the door and opened it. Her eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"

Karkat had a completely worried face. "Its Dave, hes not eating and refuses to leave his room.. You have to help." He said with a large frown.

"Why should I? Why can't you help him? After all, you two are in love." Rose said. She crossed her arms.

Karkat sighed. "He won't listen to me! At all! Or Dirk!" He said and looked at her.

Rose looks at him. She could see the distress on his face. "Fine." She grabbed her jacket and sunglasses and slid them on. She followed Karkat.

Karkat sighed relieved. "Thank you.." He walked her to Daves apartment, which was a mess again.

Rose saw that. She slid her jacket and sunglasses off. She made her way over to Dave's room. She knocked on the door. "Stop being an @ss and get out here. We need to talk." She called ito his room. She had the same attitude as she had when they first met and the one he fell in love with.

There was some rustling from inside. The door opened and a very tired Dave looked at her. "Oh heyyy Rose." He said leaning on the door.

"Do you want to tell me why you're apartment is a mess? And why you haven't spoken to anyone or eaten?" Rose asked. She had her arms crossed.

Dave shrugged. "No need to do anything. Also I'm trying to die. You know eternity suffering doesn't sound to great." He said and looked over at Karkat shooing him away. Karkat left the house.

"Yeah it doesn't sound great. There isn't a reason to die though. Want to talk about it with me? Just because you p!ssed me off doesn't me I hate you. I still care for you. Now stop being a d!ck." Rose said.
