A npc member of staff was handing out wristbands as the players chose their teams. The blonde turned to the group that she'd brought along, hastily tying up her hair. "I think I'm going to go with the blue team," she announced, slipping on a blue band as a npc handed her her gun. As much as she loved to read in silence, the excitement and atmosphere of laser tag had made her eager to get started. There would be two teams - blue and red - for the first round, and then they would play an individual round and count up the points to pick a winner. The prize? Bragging rights. That was all she needed to encourage her to play, however. Once the group playing now had finished up, they would enter the dark maze and war would begin.

    Pulling a hair tie off of her wrist the teen began to put her long black hair up in a ponytail herself. A wide grin was set upon her features as she used her hip to bump Alice's lightly in a friendly gesture. Well if you're going on team blue then I'll just have to pick red. Sephora added with a soft chuckle leaving her lips, reaching forward to grab the red band and slip it on. This was something she has always wanted to try. After all, ducking and dodging bullets in the movies had always looked so cool, and now this would be her chance to mimic it. She was just glad that none of it was real.

    The little boy scurried up, his brown hair tousled and messy looking. His dark brown eyes were wide as he stopped beside Alice, he loved laser tag! It was lots of fun, but there was no yellow team, "I want to be yellow!" The boy complained loudly. But he sighed, "I guess I can be another color..." But who would want him on their team? He didn't matter, no one would want to be on a scrawny little boy's team... he hung his head, letting his words trail off.

She passed her friend a gun after checking that it was working. They were finicky things - difficult to aim, but there was a small screen that counted up your points. If you "shot" another gun, you would gain one point. However, as there was nothing visible to fire, it was tricky to hit others. She noticed Chai, who seemed a little upset about the lack of a yellow team. "You can join the blue team, Chai," she offered, holding out a wristband. With giddiness came confidence, and she bore a wide grin upon her face. "If you want to win, that is."
