He climbed over the rocks and sat down beside her, "what're you doing?" He asked

" Shh... be a little quieter. You don't want to spook them," She said softly, glancing at him," I'm hanging out with my friend

He raised his eyebrows, "you know there are plenty of human people here you could be friends with?" He said, but he did lower his voice
