  • [fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]Flexing her claws the demoness grinned ear to ear, clearly pleased to be accomplishing things with the task Sango had slid her way. After all, she was a busy woman, she liked to be kept on her toes. "SHADOWCLAN, GATHER AROUND FOR WEEKLY TASKS AND GET READY TO GET BUSY." Of some sort of another. The tasks she had compiled in her mind varied greatly after all. There was a lot to be done with the tasks themselves having not been handled for so long. At the notion of her words the beast leaped on top of the Amber and awaited any arrivals.

    'Let's get shit done.'

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px][font=verdana][size=9][align=justify]The first to approached was Haiiro, letting out a long yawn as he made his way over, obviously exhausted for some reason or another. It had been a while since he had been wandering round camp half-asleep, so it was no surprise that it was going to happen again at some point, although he had to admit that it was a rather unfortunate time to be so tired, especially since he wanted to be able to do something fun for a weekly task. It wasn't about to stop him from asking. "Hey Char, got a task for me?" the boy inquired, doing his best to be casual and relaxed despite his wishes to just go to sleep for a little while.

  • The young kestrel was brand-stankin'-new to ShadowClan. In fact, he didn't know jack about the place. He'd only met two members so far, one of which hadn't even mentioned their name. But when 'weekly tasks' echoed through the area... well.

It sounded like so much fun! Crinesmal fluttered over, standing on the ground as he spread his wings wide. "Can I do some too? Can I?"

  • ALLUREYA

How did we get here? Well I used to know you somewhere...I think I know.

"I'll take one or two if you don't mind Char." The direwolf had not been as active as she'd first wanted to be and doing a few weekly tasks would help a lot.

  • Weekly tasks? Medicalmix stayed towards the back of the crowd gaining up on Chardonnay rather quickly. The feline wondered if she should say anything at all, considering she knew no one out of this bunch. Mentally slapping herself to "get over it," Mix spoke up. "I'll take one, I think," she mumbled, lowering her mask so the demoness could hear a her speak clearly.

whoa. when did shadowclan have so many brand spankin' new members? perhaps marie should have held a meet&greet, seeing as with her memory seemingly lost about the recent days, she needed to recall her friends and clanmates. nevertheless, she decided that being of help to her clan was probably more important than getting herself in check, so off to chardonnay did she go. "have an idea in mind for me, madamoiselle chardonnay?"

"I'll take one," Reducedemotions said as he padded over. Weekly tasks? He didn't remember this being a thing last week. Maybe he had just missed it or maybe the lack of sleep was really getting to his head.

She didn't even know what weekly tasks were, but... perhaps it'd be a way to please her apparent guardian? At the very least she'd get out more, hopefully putting her fear behind her as she got to know more people. The lynx kitten retreated to the edges of the crowd, not yet comfortable in the midst of so many others. "Please, may I do something?"

    Shiagur of ShadowClan

THERE'S A GAME IN THE WORLD. A LITTLE BIT OF CAT AND MOUSE

The little baby wobbled over on awkward feet, eyes wide. Shiagur released a little chirp and sat down, tilting her head to the side. What was "tasks"? Could she eat one? Oh! Eating one sounded nice! She was kind of hungry..

♡ ♡ ♡ Nanami... was kinda just there. Staring at her Game Girl Advanced, what else did you expect? She didn't really seem to be too aware of what was going on around her, of she was too intently focused on her game, likewise. But she did know that the others seemed to be receiving some sort of task thing... maybe they were all supposed to ask for one? While she wasn't too sure, she went ahead and spoke.

"I'll...take one, yup..." Her voice sounded quite soft and distant, for she was barely focusing on what she was saying. Rather, her attention was averted to her game.

  • Next up was the glowing child, who's tail was low and wagging. The concept of weekly tasks hadn't been... much until recently. She hadn't really understood what they were, but due to being a follower, and everyone else taking one, she decided to do the same. "I want a task, too! A really, really, really hard one!" Any task would probably be extremely difficult for her, in actuality.

  • Weekly tasks. He hadn't done these in a very long time. Back in the Knights of Eden and ScarClan, he had missed out on these because he was off doing his own thing most the time. Corey twitched his ears at the call and ran over at the speed of light. Well, not really but yeah. He was just really enthusiastic about getting a weekly task at last. "I'll take one." The blind male called out as he settled down besides Haiiro.

  • [fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]Excellent. As her clanmates filed in the demoness grinned in satisfaction. There was work to be done and oh was it going to get done. "Good afternoon mon chers. Let's get down to business shall we?" Turning her mauve gaze onto the first who approached she got started. "Haiiro, could you hold a herb training session? It'd be good to fill everyone in on medical knowledge now that we're not exactly making a plethora of friends. Crinesmal, you've got lovely plumage. Could you host a session teaching people how to fend off aerial attacks? HawkClan sure likes their little griffin so I figured we'd stomp the prospect of it getting anywhere again out of the equation. Allureya, I've got two for you if you're up to it darling. For the first I want you to have a thread organizing gift baskets to our allies. Make them personal and nice to the clans if you can. For the second something more our style, pick an enemy, any enemy, capture them and do whatever you want with them. Torture, wound, hold for ransom, whatever you like. I've seen a lack of captures and the like so it'd be good to crack down on those. Medicalmixture, could you hold a game for the kids? Perhaps tag or truth or dare."

Turning then she addressed the rest of those gathered with the same sly grin, yes they were going to make progress this lovely week. "Marie, this is going to be a common one but on strange coincidence you've got the task of holding a meet and greet. Maybe make a game out of it? Two truths and a lie or three facts about the character and three about the roleplayer? Actually yes that'd work, an IC and OOC meet and greet for all the new lovelies. Reducedemotions, let's embrace our AntiClan roots. Take something from an enemy clan, anything goes. It could be a member or someone's personal possession, a child for the ranks or damaged territory. Feel free to get creative. Perpetual, Gordon, could you guys pair up for a task? You're doing great by the way Perpetual, I'm so proud of your progress in the clan. Anyhow, could you two get everyone to chip in and clean up camp? Brush out the dust, clear out debris or excess foliage, throw away old stuff, all that nonsense. Our home could definitely use some tender love and care. Shiagur, could you round up any other children and hunt down the little critters like mice and the like making our camp their home? I've noticed some damage to our tree so I figured rooting them out and making a meal of them would do us some good. Nanami, could you hold a thread where everyone decorates their dens or rooms in camp? Everyone can string up flowers in their rooms or organize any of their things. A group bonding activity and making this place their home. People can even find roommates and rooms if they want. Xia, I know they're tricky but could you maybe make some flower crowns and other things like that and give them out in a thread? I think everyone will feel good if they look good and it'll help you improve your dexterity. I don't want to send you on anything dangerous just yet since your young and your mom will have my head. Corey, apologies for the typical nature of it all, but could you take a patrol out and gather herbs and restock the freshkill pile? Everyone can eat nice tonight."

  • As the demoness - Chardonnay, as others seemed to call her - began to list off the tasks, he looked over at Haiiro as she started with him. Herb training? Was that a thing? Was he supposed to participate? The answer to his last question was answered as he was addressed next. As his feathers were complimented, his chest puffed out proudly, but he jumped in surprise as he was assigned his task. Host? A training session? Him? Crinesmal's eyes seemed to gleam, and a grin stretched wide across his face. His feathers fluffed up, as they always seemed to when he got excited, and he trembled happily. Anyone would think that he'd explode into a puff of feathers and glitter in the next couple seconds. How could so much energy be contained in such a tiny body?

Crinesmal realized he had to respond. "Y-yes! I mean, yes Chardonnay!" he squeaked proudly. He was going to host a training session! He was gonna teach people about stuff! Avian fighting was a lot harder than land fighting, that was for sure. Then a thought crossed his mind. He was gonna teach members how to fend off avian attacks. What if someone got hurt? What if he got hurt? He was still mastering how to fly! "W-wait," the young bird chirped. "What if someone gets hurt?"

  • [fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]As she finished listing off the tasks the excitable little bird posed a question her way, drawing her mauve gaze to them. What a perceptive inquiry, she was appreciative they'd thought into enough to draw that conclusion. The demoness seemed unphased by the concept however and flicked a jet ear dismissively, "Exercise caution, if someone does get injured they'll be sought to well by our Spiritcallers or myself. I promise."

YOU'D SORT ME OUT IF MY HEAD GETS CLEAR — lirim break — shadowclan + the cartel — they/them — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 75%; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]/ PLEASE DONT KILL ME BUT WHEN I SAW "LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS" I INSTANTLY STARTED SINGING "TO DEFEAT THE HUNS" AND NOW IM LAUGHING AT SIX IN THE MORNING AND ITS GREAT

Lirim to honest god could not remember the last time that they had participated in a weekly task event. They couldn't even properly recall the recent clans they've been shifting in and out of, let alone try to remember what they had tried to do as a sorry excuse for 'participating.' It was shameful, really, how much they neglected their duties because of something as stupid as their unstable mental health (others would tell them otherwise, saying that it was okay and that their health was more important, but Lirim always did have an unhealthy habit of mentally berating themselves.) It was why when they heard the announcement that weekly tasks were back on that they decided to approach, a thoughtful expression on their graceful features. The scales around their neck were raised slightly in idle curiosity, emitting a very subtle golden glow that illuminated their features as they approached, hopefully making them at least a bit more noticeable. "I'll take something. Two tasks, if you will actually," they murmured out after a while with a final, satisfied nod that caused their scales to shift back down and cease their glowing. Two tasks might have been much, but they felt like they needed to make up for their lack of work recently. How they ever reached deputy position in any clan, let alone be a leader, was far beyond them. Definitely not in this sorry state. They needed to pick up their pace.

  • [fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]/ OML YES I LEGIT DID THE SAME THING AS I TYPED IT I AM GLAD THIS IS GOOD

Lilac eyes flickered over the frame of Funhaus as the demoness gave a small wave in return, dipping her broad head in polite greeting. "Of course ami. Funhaus, could you and Lirim team up to teach something to the clan? You two can decide among yourselves but anything you think the clan could use to know or improve on. Lirim, I like the new look it suits you well, for your second task could you host a spar of sorts? Pair individuals up in one on one fights and observe, point out improvements that can be made or winners in one makes a mistake that would have ended them in a true battle scenario. Sorry for the drabness of it all, we need to hone our skills sadly as sloppy as the last raid was, win or not."

YOU'D SORT ME OUT IF MY HEAD GETS CLEAR — lirim break — shadowclan + the cartel — they/them — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 75%; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Figures that the first task that they'd get was one where they had to pair up with someone. A light frown crossed their features, though they let it fade into idle neutrality upon glancing at Funhaus, offering the male a slight nod. It wasn't so much that they had a problem with him... they just didn't work well in teams most of the time, with the whole 'can't talk to or understand others for their life' part. Plus they sort of felt like they were being underestimated, having to be paired up with someone like a child who can't take tasks themselves. Silly, they knew, because Chardonnay had no means of knowing that they hadn't done a task in ages. It still irked them, however, and so they were glad that they had asked for two tasks because it meant that they got to do something by themselves as well.

"Thank you," they murmured out in response both towards her compliment and the offered tasks that were given to them. "I will see to it that both tasks are done. Funhaus, want to start on ours now or do you need a bit beforehand?" they inquired towards the canine, shifting their golden gaze back towards him in question. At least it was someone nice that they had been paired up with, not some asshole who thought they could do anything and Lirim would let it slide. This was strictly business, Lirim had to remind himself. No point in getting friendly when the clan need to be taught... whatever it was that they would be teaching. The fact that they still didn't know at that point made them furrow their brow again in concern. It'd be best to start soon.
